Took three adults and three kids (aged 11, 11, and 13). The water park was enjoyed, we felt safe enough to let them go on their own. Took the advice of many before us and brought in food for breakfast and lunch and snacks. Went to La Tarrasca in Centralia for dinner (very highly recommended for authentic Mexican food). We stayed in a Grizzly Bear suite […] which has two bedrooms. Very oddly laid out space, but was ample for two families. No closet in one of the rooms (but has it's own bathroom, so I guess that made it the master). Cable TV is minimal and no HBO, Showtime, etc. PPV movies but we weren't interested in paying even more for the services there. My son had been several times before with others, and he's about burned out on it. I would say it's a once or twice kind of weekend. Tiny Starbucks with a very long line, bring your own coffee! "great stay"
It was awesome. we enjoyed our time there.
"Great Wolf Lodge / The ultimate family experience"
Very accommodating staff and always kid oriented. Love how special this place makes my 7 year old son feel. Noticed even older kids were having a great time. Also appreciated small things, like how the staff turns a blind eye at family picnics in the lounge - very helpful for families on budgets.

"Great Wolfe lodge"
Had a great time!!!
"Fun for big kids and little kids everywhere!"
This is a hotel for kids!!! Every activity is for kids and there are hundreds of them everywhere. So, if you don't have them, don't go here. We took our grandkids (4 and 6) there for 2 nites/1 full day. You need 2 full days for sure. It was a riot for us old folks and the little ones. They have managed to make the waterpark accessible to all ages, with […] different areas for different ages. Lots of lifeguards, safety control, etc. However, put the brightest color suit on your child that you can find. Our 4 y.o. had an old swimsuit on that was skin colored and she wandered away for a few seconds. With a bright suit we could have found her immediately. Bottom line: RUN don't walk to the nearest Great Wolf Lodge for a lot of fun for everyone! Les mer
"Loved the Great Wolf Lodge!"
We loved our stay! The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful! Check in was a breeze with no problems what so ever!
"Great one night vacation for the family!"
I've resisted going since it opened due to the high cost, but gave in when we got a great price on a room. My entire family loved it! We went in the middle of the week, so there were no lines for anything. We all had a blast with both the water park and the wand quests. We packed snacks and breakfast fixings to cut down on cost - great idea! There are […] bridges and microwaves in all the rooms, so it was nice to have milk, sandwiches, etc on hand. We'll definitely go back again! Les mer
"Fantastic"
We took our kids this Christmas and we had a blast! However, if you're like me then you should consider taking at least one or two extra adults so that you can go on the grown up rides without having to worry about kids or your wife complaining. Great time, great fun!
"Got Boring"
My grandkids aged 7 and 11 got bored with the small amount of water activity. the wait for the major ride was at least 30 minutes. They enjoyed the magi quest but at 30 a kid its a lot of money added to your 300 room. we ate offsite at a great new mexican restaurant just down the road.
They really do have lots of everything for everyone! They even offer meals wheat and gluten free!! Once you check in there is really no reason to leave until the sad, sad occasion of going home arises. We felt safe in and out of the pool! We were treated so graciously and were never, ever bored!! I can't wait to go back! ( :

"Great Wolf - The kids loved it"
This was our second time at Great Wolf and just as fun as the first time. My youngest did the MagiQuest game again which is a lot of fun. The waterpark wasn't as crowded as last time which was a huge plus! Overall, a great stay but I always need a vacation after Great Wolf!
"Great stay"
I've avoided the Great Wolf for some time even though it's been recommended by friends and neighbors. I finally got roped in for our youngest daughter's sixth birthday, and I'm glad. The hotel was clean and yes, loud- but what else could you possibly expect? I've always been annoyed that we couldn't just get entry to the waterpark without staying at […] the hotel, but now that I've taken the plunge, I understand why. In many ways, Great Wolf Lodge is just as expensive as a trip to Disneyland without the airfare. If you're willing to leave for a bit though and head into town there are certainly less expensive options for food. We kind of mixed and matched based on which meal we were at. Big plus for having an inexpensive option within walking distance with outstanding service and better-than-average food. If you're staying there, you'll figure out what I'm talking about. We didn't do any of the other activities- MagiQuest, the spas, etc. Next time we'll plan on a two night visit which is pretty much essential to get the full experience. They seemed fun and the kids are looking forward to giving it a shot again. Big thank you to the Bear Paw food place for taking extraordinary care of us. We ordered a cake the night we arrived for the next day. They had it done and it looked great. Our middle child was carrying it to the table for her younger sister- and dropped it. The staff was right on top of it, and put another one together in a matter of minutes. A huge thanks for making our daughter's birthday seem even more special to her! I certainly had more fun here than I expected to. The slides were fun, the lines weren't too long, and the wave pool a ton of fun. I'm told the Great Wolf Lodge will be at least an annual trip, and I can't say I'm complaining! Les mer
"not so sure"
The amount of money that we paid to stay at this hotel for one night in my mind was not worth it.
"Great Disappointment"
I really didn't enjoy this hotel as much as I anticipated. The rooms were small, bed was uncomfortable and when trying to book a reservation, there are really not helpful. doubful I will stay again.
"Great Wolf Lodge, a fun and safe place for kids"
I was very impressed with how the lifeguards took their jobs so seriously. Everywhere you looked, there was a lifeguard, and they paced back and forth looking to ensure safety. Our kids had a BLAST at Great Wolf Lodge!

"Fun for Toddlers"
My daughter who is 2 1/2 years old enjoyed her stay. She had fun dancing in the Lobby to the Kid's Night DJ and playing in the water park. Food Service definitely needed improvement. They switched dinner to waiter service instead of buffet style. It took a very LONG time to get our food and almost missed all the fun at story time at 8pm. Overall a […] fun night at the Lodge. "Great Wolf = Great (but expensive) family stop"
Our girls - ages 9 & 11 - had been on us for a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge for quite some time. In conjuction with another trip to the southern Puget Sound, we decided to finally squeeze in a single night at Great Wolf, and wound up with several observations. First, the rooms are expensive - there is no other way to put it. That said, keep in mind […] that you're also including access to the water park for a family of four. With this in mind, the price tag, while still expensive, is substantially more palletable. When considering the price, consider the admission too. Keep in mind that admission to the water park area is just that - admission to the park. You are not getting much of anything else included in your stay. Be prepared to spend an additional $50-$150 per child for things like the MagiQuest game and other attractions your kids are not going to let you get by without. The exact amounts will vary by your own buying choices and how long you stay, but be prepared for noticable additional expenses. Most food choices fall under the heading of "junk food". If you're looking for something beyond pizza, cafateria, or other junk foods, be prepared to drive into Chehalis. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, but they too are marginal. Despite the relatively high price tags, the rooms are pretty spartan. We had upgraded a bit to the Kids Kamp option, and the kids very much enjoyed their tent looking bunkbed area, but the table in the room only seats two, the main TV (the kids had one of their own) is small and not hi-def, and is not in line with the bed. There is a decent sized refrigerator. there is one bath, though I understand further upgrades have multi-bath rooms. Be prepared for a bit of a hike to your room. The hotel is large, and you will have a bit of a journey to your room. The hotel supplies carts to carry around luggage, but there are not nearly enough of these carts to remotely serve everyone during peak check in/out hours. Final Les mer

"Fun for Kids"
The point of going here is for the kids, and to that end GWL definitely delivers. And, to be fair, the queen bed in our room was really, really comfy. But because there are so many kids, the option of sleeping may not be much of one, and I had a hard time with what seemed like the all-night sounds of doors opening and slamming shut accompanied by loud […] tween voices. So, bring earplugs. Also, I'd recommend bringing food -- snacks, and anything you'd like to nuke, as there's a convenient mini-fridge and microwave. And bring your tattoos -- if you don't have one, you'll discover you're in the minority. But all the fun you could have with your kids is provided in abundance. Les mer
"Great Wolf Lodge - Grand Mound, WA"
Wonderful place for families. Children from toddlers to teens can have a a terrific time. Very high noise level in all public areas with throngs of people moving about. You must have a high tolerance for this type of atmosphere. All employees were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are adequate except Sleeper Couch was miserable. Luckily only one night […] on it. We could not have endured more. Les mer
"The Great Wolf Lodge at Grand Mound - Awesome Fun!"
Stayed for three nights a GWL in the Kids Kamp suite and our 2 kids loved it. Our ONLY issue with the room was the in the kids area as there are no door covers or shades to block the light when they go to bed. We ended up throwing a blanket over the top of the door way to block some of the light. In the hotel, there were three main things to do: 1) […] Waterpark In the waterpark, the kids had a blast! Playing in the waves, riding the tubes and going down the red and yellow slides. Being able to grab warm towels at anytime to dry off is nice too. 2) Magicquest This was another really fun activity - though it got really tiring running up and down the stairs. At times it got pretty frustrating - but overall a good time. 3) Arcade Good time waster. The kids can accumulate tickets to purchase items behind the counter. Likes: Wrist band - you don't have to carry you wallet around. Room was clean, sizable and remarkably quiet. You could not hear noises through the walls only from the hallway. Waterpark - lots to do and well managed. Lifeguards were diligent and ever present MagicQuest - Almost as fun as the waterpark. As it was so popular, the store to get the wands and help was always busy; thus, the wait times could get rather long. Dislikes: Food - From the website and room guide, it seemed like there were 3-4 restaurants within the facility, but there really only one - Moose Loose Cottage. Yes, there was a Pizza Hut and Starbucks, but if you wanted a nice dinner - this was not it. Better off driving 4 miles south and having a better meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to other and already have and come again. Les mer
"Fun for the kids"
So much fun for the kids! They loved the bunk beds. The only thing is that the waterpark was smaller than ecpected...overall great place for families!

"Great Wolf Experience"
This facility is more than a hotel it is a family experience. Similar to that of an amusement park. There is very little need to leave the property once you are in. Food, Fun and relaxation is all there. If you want time away from kids....THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. If you want to show the kids a great time....YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PROPERTY […] . Les mer
We took our 3 teenage daughters. They had visited the Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin when they were little, and wanted to go again. We were alittle unsure if there would be enough water activities for them. The stay turned out to be fun for them & they had a great time!
"family place"
Really a great place for young families. Somewhat noisy but what else would you expect where people are happy and having a great time.
"Don't go there without Kids"
This is a heavily overpriced hotel for Kids. The waterpark does not provide even a small area where you can lay down and relax. It is extremely loud and there are 75% kids. If you have kids and want to surprise them with a stay in this hotel - do so, it's nice. If you plan to go there without kids - don't.

"Birthday party 2 rms 13 people"
This hotel was FUN, but very expencive. We knew that there would be additional costs, but not to the extent we saw. The nintendo in the rooms, they are NOT free to play. The Pizza Hut sells personal or medium pizzas, so to feed a family, don't think that's the least expencive way out. The water park was a ton of fun and there were plenty of lifeguards. […] The staff was great, it's the parents of some of the bullys that were most disturbing. All in all... if you want some family fun, and can pay the cost, this is the place to go. Les mer
"A fun place for kids and adults"
A super fun place with only two recommendations. The food at the buffet was cold and not much selection for dinner and some items were not refilled even at 630pm on Sat night. The cost for dinner was not posted although we should have asked. $18 is a little pricey for what was offered. Service was slow. Breakfast buffet was ok for $14.00. Some items […] still cold. The rooms are temperature controlled so ac is not an option. Slightly stuffy while sleeping. The waterpark was tons of fun. So was the arcade. Les mer
"Extreme kid friendly!"
Excellent place for the family. Fun place for kids. Water is AWESOME and it's indoors. KInd of expensive.
"Wonderful family getaway, minor flaws"
My family had a wonderful time here; the kids are already clamoring to go back. This hotel has a "resort" feel which is far more than you'd expect for the price. Our 7 year old twins enjoyed the Magic Quest wand game almost as much as they enjoyed the water park (and don't tell him I told you, but my husband did as well). The only down side to the […] weekend was that the extra hide-a-bed is not suitable for anyone over the age of 10. After the first night, I was in so much pain that I couldn't use the waterpark and not even the wonderful spa massage could alleviate it. (I slept on the folded sofa the 2nd night - much better, but I'm still hurting as I write this.) Les mer
"Family Fun."
It is a great place to take the family of all ages. I have a 4, , 7, and 8 year olds and they had a blast. We really enjoyed every aspect of the hotel but bring your own pillows. The pillows are really hard and made for not very good sleep.
"Fun, Fun, Fun"
Great hotel. Kids loved it. Can't go wrong with a stay here.
"Very Bad Customer Service"
The hotel is busy and packed, I get it... But the staff at the Magic Quest games are rude, no manners, and very disappointing! The line up was long and the 2 younger clerks are talking away about their friends and parties without a care about the line up at all. The more mature female clerk was just looking... Doesnt offer any help (I hope she is not […] the manager). All guests in the line up were disgusted with this type of service. The water park was nice, but the bad experience sticks to our minds more, WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK! Les mer
"Second Stay...Loved It Just As Much!"
This is our second stay at this hotel and we all loved it once again. Our first review was a few months back, so I will add a few more details to this review. They have added an outdoor mini-water park since our last visit, which would be fun on a sunny day. One of the features my husband and I like is that the bracelet the hotel gives you to get into […] the water park, doubles as your room key! No more card keys to carry around...just swipe your bracelet in front of the door sensor and your in. You can wave the bracelet in arcade to get tokens for the kids to play the games. The machine will dispense $5.00 worth of tokens each time you waive your bracelet, which then gets billed to your room. We found we didn't even have to carry credit cards or cash around, as most of what we wanted to buy could be billed back to the room including Starbucks! At the end of the night, they have an animatronic show for the children near the huge fireplace in the lobby. Our younger kids really enjoyed it and were excited to get their pictures taken with the character wolf that also made an appearance. The volume of the show needs to be turned way up though, as we were sitting right in front and still couldn't hear what they were saying over the kids and adults talking. We were very happy again with our "kids cabin" room and would highly recommend it. There are cute murals on the walls in the cabin above the daybed and on the walls by the bunkbed. The kids were able to watch the Disney Channel on their own wall mounted TV before bed. This is a jem of a hotel for families in Washington State! Les mer
"We had a great time! Definite repeat for us..."
Having done my homework prior, I have to say our stay at the Great Wolf Lodge exceeded my expectations and made for a great stay for my family. First time there we stayed two nights and in the end I’m glad we did. However subsequent visits will probably only be one night, I’ll explain later… The other great thing about this place is its 95% indoor, […] so it’s a year round place, and living in the northwest, if you get the winter blues or tired of the rain, this place will definitely be a great escape! For those who don’t have a clue it’s a hotel, but it’s two main / unique attractions are the indoor water park which consists of 4 big tube slides including the signature “Tornado” ride, 2 open non tube slides on the middle platform where a huge bucket of water periodically spills over everything, a wave pool, another rec pool, a kiddy pool, and an indoor / outdoor Jacuzzi as well as a small outside water / sun lounging area if you happen to go during the summer. Overall we found the water park to be fun and my 8 year old tackled everything, however our 6 year old wouldn’t tackle the big slides. I would say ideal ages for kids is probably 6 – 12+, however we saw a lot of smaller kids there too, but they are pretty much limited to the kiddy area. They have courtesy life vests there for little ones and overall I must say that I was impressed with the number of life guards / water park staff members there, and you could tell they were safety oriented which is nice and reassuring. The other attraction which is really quite unique and fun is an interactive game called Magic Quest. It consists of about 12 quests and three adventures, the final being where you battle the dragon. Basically you buy a wand and then pay to play the game. Given the time it takes though it’s not unreasonable cost wise. The quests are all about finding things all around the hotel and activating them with your wand in which they’ll do something. I would say kids 4 and under probably won’t get it. Kids Les mer
"Great Family Outing"
We loved our stay at the great wolf lodge. We had 2 pre teens and a 6 year old and a 2 year old and they all had fun. There was plenty for all to do. Only recommendation is to bring cash for all the extras they have sitting around the hotel.

"Fun for Families"
Perfect for families with children between 5 and 10. It was just right and not overwhelming. Could be boring for more than one night for older children. Expensive, but delicious food. Starbucks in hotel!!!
"Expensive but fun"
This hotel is very expensive. The rate does include entrance into the water park but you will continue to pay throughout the weekend. The food, games, etc all adds up! I suggest brining a cooler full of drinks and snacks to save on the cost!
"Great for kids"
We celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday and for her age group the kids loved everything. It was nice to do the swimming during the day and the Arcade at night.
"Super Fun Hotel For Families!"
We stayed in the "Kids Cabin" room and loved it! There was a set of bunkbeds and also a day bed in a small, decorated cabin inside the room. The kids loved the fact that they had their own TV in the cabin. As parents, the cabin allowed us to have a bit of privacy as well, as it seperates the queen bed from the kids beds. There was also a pull out sofa, […] fireplace and mini fridge. We were all very happy with the "Kids Cabin" and will choose it again when we stay next time. The hotel has a buffet style restaurant, a sit down restaurant, a consession stand and a Pizza Hut. There is also a stand that serves ice cream, baked goods, fudge, etc. To my delite, they even have a Starbucks in the hotel! The have kids progrms throughout the day including Bingo and a large arcade. There is game called MagiQuest that was a ton of fun for our 9, 11, and 14 year to play. It can be played over several days using a wand that you purchase and activate. The wand when pointed at objects throughout the hotel, will make objects come to life and talk or light up. It is on the spendy side for the game, so our kids shared the wands. Now for the best part of the entire hotel...the indoor waterpark! There is something for every age to do at this water park...kiddie areas, small body water slides, huge tube slides, wave pool and indoor/outdoor hot tub. We spent many hours there and had a blast! We had so much fun as a family at this hotel and will definately be back! Les mer
