Bodd mange steder i Praha. Dette hotellet er helt ok .Fikk et rom med badekar, noe jeg liker. Ellers var rommet ganske mørkt og ut mot bakgården. beliggenheten er topp og anbefaler alle som reiser til Praha å bruke "speedcars" som taxi. Mye billigere enn andre selskap

Meget bra standard på rom og hotellet ellers. Meget bra frokost. Beliggenheten gjør at nattesøvnen blir dårlig, særlig p.g.a. støy fra trikkene som går uten opphold.

Wonderful little hotel, clean comfortable rooms and a friendly staff that goes out of its way to take care of you. There is no restaurant and the mini bar is better stocked than the "bar" on the first floor, but you can find fine food and beverage choices nearby.

The hotel style was very appealing,but it has a poor service and quality at breakfast ,the bathrooms lacked of anything even the bath carpet .On the whole the standard was of a 3 stars hotel.The location is quite good because you can reach all monuments on foot and very convenient to the public transport.

The internet connection was low and most of the time non existent. Don't book this hotel if you need to use the internet. Other than that the breakfast was good, the hotel staff and service was good. It was a great location closeby to tram stop,supermarket and restaurants.

Tyl is not in the historical Old Town, but the location, in many ways is much better. Hotel is well kept, clean. Breakfast is adequate. Reasonably priced restaurants in the neighborhood with many of the same menu items and English-speaking staff mean you get more for less here. There's a pharmacy and drug store, convenience stores, 2 Metro 4 tram and […] 2 night trams within visual of the front door. Recommended if you intend to take advantage of Prague's excellent public transport to maximize the ground you can cover. Old town and other sites are easily accessed on foot as well, at the cost of an architecturally stunning 25 min walk. Les mer

It was a nice average hotel, the room was big, the beds (single) were small. Stayed 5 nights bedding wasn't changed (don't know if that's usual for 4*?), only 1 pillow asked in the evening for another but couldn't get me one until following day. Hotel staff were helpful & pleasant. 20 min walk to Wencleslas Square all down hill, uphill all the way back! […] Prague is very 'hilly', didn't use the transport system, walked everywhere but need to be fit to do this. It is located very close to the metro station and tram and bus stops and it's very convenient to get to the city center or Praha Castle. Also it was very quiet at night. I was given a triple room for just myself; it was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good; nothing special but adequate. Rooms were clean and well maintined. The decor of the hotel is warm, welcoming and in a good state. The Staff were very welcoming and helpfull. The breakfast was reasonable and plentyful. Given its location next to the IP Pavlova metro station and a major tram stop this is an excellent hotel for sightseeing and holidays.

good location, plenty of restaurants/bars/coffee shops nearby and good transport links if you wish to use them. Easy to walk to all attractions, if you are fit! Only minor issue was the bed...........it was sooooooooooo hard/firm!!! Breakfast was basic continental selection but plentiful and fresh.

Perfect location. Clean, staff was helpful and courtious. Overall price was good. Included breakfast was the usual fair for hotels. Fridge in room, no coffee pot or micro. We had a triple, which was a bit small for 3 people. Would stay here again.

This was a lovely hotel in a good location near to good restaurants (particularly Matylda). The No.22 Tram was just around the corner - this will take you to the castle and near to the Charles Bridge on the other side of the River. However it is only about half an hours walk to the old town via Wenceslas Square. Theer is also a Metro stop close by. The […] rooms were very spacious and clean, we had a lovely room overlooking the Market area. The breakfast was served in a very pleasant dining room and the choices were very good - boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, hot dogs, cold meats, cheese, Pate, jams, honey and a very nice selection of bread. The hotel had a pleasant laid back feel and the staff were very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. When we return to Prague we will be staying here again as we loved it. Les mer

The beds were very uncomfortable. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted from your hotel room (you had to call the desk). The breakfast was only so-so (the worst of the 5 hotels at which we stayed in this trip).

Very good location in a small square, about 5-10 min walk to Wenceslas Square and from there it's not much further to the old town and across to the river. The tram stop and the underground are just around the corner from the hotel but we spent two days in Prague and just walked everywhere as all the main sights are centrally located. Our twin room […] was a decent size and in good condition and had a good sized bathroom. Room had aircon though you have to ask reception to turn it on but after that they leave it on. The hotel had very pleasant and knowledgeable staff who were happy to help. It was well placed for tram and metro and yet in a relaxed area. The breakfast was fine and the only complaint that we could make was that they cleaners kept replacing the towels(every day)which we felt was unnecessary!! Also it was good value for money...

Originally got a double room, not the twin we thought we had booked, but reception found us a twin room within an hour. Really liked the hotel and the staff. Reception particularly friendly and helpful. xbut the usual problem of choice between noise of trams with windows open and air-conditioning. The hotel is situated in a convenient and easily accessible location close to both tram stops and the metro. It is very clean and homely with staff who are very helpful. Very nice hotel in great area close to tram 22 and easy walking distance to many pubs, restaurants. Quiet for being so close to a main street. Every Tues and Thurs is a market in the small park in front of the hotel. Provides a wonderful opportunity to sample great food from local farms.

Recent reviews had been mixed about this Hotel but we were really pleased. We travelled as a group of 3 couples and all 3 rooms were good. The reception staff all went out of their way to help us. Nothing special (i.e. in terms of room size, the accomodation generally), but has friendly, helpful staff and a nice breakfast buffet is also included. They had a crib for our 2 yr old. Was looking for a hotel in that area and was surprised to find this one for the money they were asking. Nice rooms, ok breakfast buffé and a small gym with jacussi included in the price! Just 15-20 min walk from the center of old town. The wifi was working really well, also included! Would def. stay here again!

This was a perfect hotel for us. It is close to the main train station and the metro. But beyond that the staff is so congenial - and that means all of the reception and the breakfast staff. The hotel is old but in good repair and I do not have a single negative comment to make. Have already recommended it to a friend.

We liked the hotel but it is a little far away from the majority of tourists sites. It is however very close to a subway stop, tram stop, and of the gay bars in Prague. Good if you don't want to be in the thick of things.

Within waking distance of all major tourist attractions - no need for taxi's. Hotel stsff were friendly , providing an overview of hotel essentials at checkin. Will stay again.

5 minute walk from Wenceslas square at about a third of the price. Very clean, good size rooms whihc have just been smartened up. Floors are all solid, so no hearing the people above you. Location is excellent, trams and metro within a stone throw but you do not hear them. Excellent hotel. No steep stairs, but a lift to take you to your room Claims […] to only have wifi in lobby, but I received in on he 1st floor rooms. My top tip, instead of going left out of hotel to touristy bits, go right a few blocks and try some of the local bars there. Beer is less than a pound a pint (just) and food is good value also. Have been to this hotel 3 times now and would not go anyway else (unless they raised thier prices that is - cannot recommend enough Les mer

Very good value for a nicely renovated hotel. Located right next to tram stop but neighborhood is transitional. If you don't take take the 10 minute tram ride to the Old Town Square it is about a 25 minute walk to get to there. Good Internet service in room and very nice breakfast buffet. very good hotel close to town so could easily walk in, but the tram where so handy we used them, metro was also close.The hotel was really nice with a lovely breakfast each day,also the staff spoke good english and where very helpful with directions and information,only down side we found was the rooms didn't have tea and coffee making facillities.

It's hard to fault the Hotel Tyl. In terms of value for money it's by far the best i've ever stayed in. Location is perfect, close to the underground (IP Pavlova) and near a major tram stop (catch the 22 for the Castle). The room was spacious and the bathroom generous. Top marks go to the receptionist / manager who was extremely helpful and made our […] stay very pleasant. You have to ask for the air con to be put on but that's no hardship. There are no tea / coffee making facilities but you can always bring a travel kettle if that's really important to you. I was very happy with my stay at Hotel Tyl! My room was clean and comfprtable. The buffet breakfast offered a broad selection of sliced meats and cheeses, as well as cereals, breads, spreads, cakes and teas. The staff were friendly and helpful with my queries. Wifi was good, and I was provided with the passwork on check in. The location is just a short […] stroll from the main tourist attractions, and there are trams and trains within a few hundred metres of the hotel. The gym hours were a little resticted, but I was too exhausted after each day of exploring so it didn't really matter. I would highly recommend this hotel to others, and found it to be great value for the rate that I paid on Expedia. Les mer
