Chisun Inn Kagoshima - Kagoshima

My second time at this hotel. I will stay here the next time too :) Clean rooms, laundry service and close to Kagoshima station and dolphin bay!

The hostel is quiet, clean, tidy and cosy. Location is near subway station and it is only one stop away from the airport. The subway links to most interesting sites and important amenities in Fukuoka. The staff is helpful and speaks English too. Will stay there again when re-visit Fukuoka in future.

Clean hotel, very close to main shopping centres and walking distance to ferry. Rooms on the small side, but this is common.

Nice, clean business hotel with nice rooms. Had a single room of a decent size for a good price. At the end of the hall (at least in my floor) you can go out on a balcony and get a great view of Sakurajima. The staff was friendly and the location is very good. I thought the Chisun Inn in Kagoshima was fantastic. I stayed for 6 nights and it was very clean and great value. It is also right in the centre of Tenmonkan. I will stay there again if I go back.

Yes the room was on the small side but that didn't bother us - this Hotel is probably what they call a "businessman's" hotel - very suitable for a night or two but it would be a little bit of a problem for longer stays. The hotel was very central and it was no problem to change rooms as we wanted a view of the Volcano from our room which was quite exciting […] as it put on a bit of a show for us while we were there. The hotel is easy to find but do ask directions as you get off the train. If you have a problem with this, just stand in one spot looking intently at your map and some very helpful Japanese person will soon approach you! They are a very friendly and only too happy to assist. The hotel was very clean as was our room and it had lots of the usual extras you expect in Japan - a fridge too for those meals on the run. Lots of shops nearby too for some "western" style though limited foods. We paid a good price and got good value - that 5 ***** in our book! Les mer

spent two nights here, the room was comfortable with nice bed linen and fantastic views of the volcano. Ideal location for exploring Kagoshima, central and easy access to public transport. Not a lot of hanging/storage space but that is just being picky.

Really enjoyed the view of Sakurajima as it was erupting. However, I had to lower the comfort rating because the room was too cool for our comfort. We tried to turn up the heat and discovered that it was controlled by management. We asked for them to turn it up, but it stayed very cool. Otherwise we had a great time in Kagoshima.

Our cheap room had a great view over the city of Kagoshima (it's a high building) and have a great location. The room was clean and comfortable. There was wired internet on the room and wireless wifi in the lobby. The staff was a little lacking in English but really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and probably updated in the last few years from the decor, and cleanliness is always the most important factor for me. Walls are thin, like most Japanese hotels, so be prepared for that and be respectful of that, too. Good location near shopping, tram, and bus stops and within a reasonable walk to the ferry terminal to view Mt. Sakurajima. […] Hotel staff were kind and stored my luggage for me before check-in and after check-out for a few hours. Like other posters mentioned, there is only one elevator that does run slowly, and the front lobby is located on the 2nd floor, not first, so be prepared to haul your luggage up a narrow winding staircase for check-in. Nice having Internet access in the room, but the ethernet cable is too short to be able to use the Internet anywhere but the direct desk top. Only one pillow was provided for a double bed. Hotel is conveniently located to the shopping mall and within walking distance to dolphin port & the jr station. Staff is helpful tho they speak little English & we speak no Japanese. Room is very clean but tiny.

I stayed one night here for a conference and it suited me well. The room is a bit bigger than other rooms I've stayed in while in Japan. The whole city is at your fingertips, whether you'd like to walk to Tenmonkan or catch the tram to Chuo Station to catch the shinkansen.

the only problem I found wwith this hotel was that there were no telephones in the rooms. This may be because of the use of cell phones, but everyone does not have a cell phone,

말이 1박이지 실제로는 입구부터가 텐몬칸이므로 매우 좋습니다.트램이나 버스도 1분거리에 있고, 가고시마츄오까지도 걸어서 8~10분거리로 산책삼아서 다녀도 괜찮을 거리입니다. 단 방은 매우 작습니다.

Mukava ja edullinen perushotelli keskellä kaupungin vilkkainta seutua. Lähellä päärautatieasemaa ja lisäksi raitiovaunu kulkee suoraan hotellin edestä. Esim. Sakurajimalle matkaava pääsee 10 minuutissa laivaterminaalin viereen.

地點就在天文通一下車三分鐘處，對面有便利商店！服務櫃檯的小姐非常親切！笑容可掬！我們想要住高樓層可以看櫻島的房間~旅館也真的把我們安排視野最佳的房間^^旅館頂樓層的陽台可以看到完整的櫻島火山喔！不用到城山看了：)

ホテルから、桜島に渡るフェリー乗り場にも歩いて行け、便利な場所でした。エレベーターを出て、すぐ左の一角のお部屋だったおかげか、とても静かでした。部屋の隅に埃や髪の毛が溜まっていたのは気になりましたが、コストパフォーマンスはとてもよかったです。

清潔なお部屋で快適に過ごせました。郷土料理がメインの朝食は最高でした（鶏飯とさつま汁、さつま揚げなどなど。美味しかったです！）。ただし、ホテルの入り口だけは500mほど通り過ぎてから戻ってきたくらい、分かりづらかったです。（※わたしは、お部屋のカラーコーディネートがとても好みでした。バスルームもベッドルームも一面だけこっくりした色がアクセントに使われていて、素敵でした^^）

We have to consider this hotel is located in Japan so that room is okay and all space is used functionally. Good location (very near from gound tram and bus stop and main street of all kind fun) and kind staff, comfortable room make me satisfied. When I returnback to my country, I became a member of this hotel chain club. Actually, I found that the […] price of Expedia was more chiefer than the own website one for their club member! At first, it is not easy to find the hotel localtion. The entrance door was very small between a restaurant and wacoroo underwear shop and it could not look through the whole hotel shape in front of the near street. (on the opposite side of the street, the hotel could be find easily) Thanks for a very kind gentleman, we could find the corret entrance that we had lost at a glance. If I were the manager of this hotel, I will put a larger and clear hotel signage on the street for their new guest.:-) Les mer

一般的なビジネスホテルです。 立地は、天文館の繁華街に近く、バス停も多いので 便利かと思います。 空港までのリムジンバスのすぐ近くから出ています。 中央駅を使って移動を指宿や霧島に行く方には、あまり向いていないかもしれません。

Very nice hotel in with excellent location in central Kagoshima. The room was a bit small, but it was very clean and modern. Very affordable price. A bit pricey breakfast with mostly japanese alternatives. Would recommend.

E um budget hotel. E bem localizado, perto de restaurantes e do comercio. O quarto double e muito apertado para um casal, ate mesmo para os padroes japoneses. E preferivel gastar um pouco mais com um quarto maior.
