Kort vei til/fra O'Hare int. flyplass. Utenfor Chicago sentrum, så enkelt å komme seg videre uten å havne i tung trafikk. Koselige og høflige ansatte og Legends sportsbar inkorporert i lobby området for å innta middag og drinker til normal pris. Store og fine rom; litt slitte, men rene. Frokosten var langt over middels med utvidet continental frokost. Fitnessrommet var veldig enkelt, men fikk trent basis. Nabolaget er noe slitent forstads- men virket greit.

Hotell valt i utg.pkt pga nær O'Hare-flyplassen. Svært praktisk, to stoppestader frå flyplassen med t-banen (Cumberland). I tillegg lett, rimeleg og kjapt å koma seg med 'blue line' til sentrum av Chicago på same banen. Middels pluss service i skranken på hotellet. Frukost visstnok berre svært lettvint, med 'småkaker' eller liknande. Nytta ikkje dette tilbodet sjølv. Ok reinhald på romma. Var på to forskjellige under opphaldet mitt. Restaurant næraste nabo på eine sida av hotellet, også parkeringsplass knytt til denne, utan at eg fann dette sjenerande. 7 minutts spasertur tek deg til diger supermarknad, der du finn alt du måtte trenga. Også andre småsjapper og ein frisør. 5 minutt til fots til t-banestasjonen. Motorvegen like ved og tidvis flytrafikk over, men gjorde ingenting av betydning. Godt støyisolert.

Rent og pent motell til en rimelig pris når man må bo på en flyplass et døgn. Hyggelig betjening, Spesielt hyggelig sjåfør som gratis beringer deg til og fra O'Hare. Fikk ingen beskjed på forhånd om at frokost var inkludert i prisen før etter at jeg hadde vært ute og spist på Subway i nabohuset:) PS! Er det nødvendig å ha pornokanalen gratis blant alle de andre kanalene? Nødvendig å ha porno på tv-en i det hele tatt?

Hotelet lå kun ca 10 min kjøring fra flyplassen. Vi leide bil, men lett å finne fram til hotel. Toget ned til Down Town stoppet like ved. Kjempe hyggelig betjening både ved skranke og matsal! Selv om hotelet ligger nær stor flyplass, var det lite vi hørte til trafikk og flystøy. Flott svømmebasseng!

Very courteous staff; walking distance to Target shopping center; close to freeway and Marriott. Potential negatives: Breakfast is free if you book through the hotel, but $11.95 if you book through an outside site; no bathtub in room, only large shower.

Will come back, very nice, only two items, pillows where a bit too flat, and the noise between rooms was a bit louder than normal.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. The bed was very comfortable and especially for the price, this was a great deal. I have stayed at more expensive hotels that were not as clean or nice as this one.

In town for business and pleasure and stayed here with my partner for 4 nights over the weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi was nice to have, but a bit slow. Never did try the breakfast as it the buffet didn't seem worth the 12$ they were asking for it. This hotel is nicer than most mid priced hotels and yet it's not a major skyscraper hotel. It had a full service restaurant. But there are so many options for restaurants in surrounding areas - we never ate there. Loved the free internet from your room.

Stayed for 3 nights. Housekeeping failed to clean room one day. . .had to call to get them to come. Saturday night was extremely noisy. Group upstairs jumping/banging on the floor for hours. Called and stopped for awhile, but then resumed again an hour later.

"Really nice"
I was very pleased with the hotel. The facility and room was very nice. The only flaw was that the food at the buffet breakfast was not as hot as I would have liked. I've stayed at Hilton Garden Inns before, and they're on my short list anyway. This hotel was the best I've stayed at.

Everything was fine with this stay except one thing: I was in my room for about 15 minutes when somebody tired to enter the room using what I suspect was a pass key. The voice sounded female and I was watching football so I couldn't exactly hear what was said. I also couldn't see as the bathroom door was open far enough that my sight line to the room […] door was blocked. I went to the front desk later to gain use of the business center and told the woman there what happened. She was concerned but that was also the last I heard of it from the hotel staff. I'd like to think this was an oversight and a mistake but assumptions can have bad results. Les mer

I came for a continuing education course about 7 miles away from the hotel. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff from the concierge to housekeeping. The entire hotel is clean. I believe it was just newly built also. I like that they have stall showers instead of the tub showers. Breakfast was superb with wide variety to choose from. It's […] in a good neighborhood. Also, like the fact that restaurants and establishments like target, cpk, starbucks, stirfry and the like are just walking distance from the hotel. Very good experiance. Only one fault; I was able to hear conversation from adjointing rooms. It appears the contractor did not install the sound barrier in the walls. Other than this issue, all was well and enjoyed.

We were soo impressed with this hotel! It was very comfortable and very clean! I could not believe the incredible price and we will definetly be staying here again when we plan a trip to Chicago! the Hilton Garden Inn was really nice and a good value except for: )1 The hotel had only one ice machine and it was broken. I tried to get ice shortly after I checked in, let the front desk know that it wasn't working, and it was still broken when I left Monday morning. i got ice from someone in the kitchen. 2) The shower door hinges were loose and […] the door became ajar while I took a shower. This lead to LOTS of water on the bathroom floor which I cleaned up. I stayed here last weekend with my three kids who live with their mother in the western suburbs. The location is perfect with lots of options for eating out and a Target adjacent. It is typical of all Hilton Garden Inns and it did not disappoint. Our only complaint was the water temperature of the pool. A little cool for comfort. We stayed here in Sept last week during our trip to Chicago. Its around 45 minutes drive from Chicago downtown. You can see the freeway from the hotel but it is about more than a mile from the exit. The surroundings is great with good places to shop and eat. Check in was done quickly. Its a new hotel so the rooms were very neat and clean. Room and hotel […] interiors were nice. I cannot think of any negatives. Just remember it is far from Chicago downtown but there was no traffic in this route. Only other point to remember is being a new hotel, the address is not recognized by some GPS. Just go with the suggested nearby address and you will be fine. In the hotel's website, they have also stated the alternate address that you can put. Les mer

"Comfortable stay"
Location was convenient. Hotel and room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Efficient hotel staff.
They charged my credit card even though I had already paid hotels.com months ago. They claim they reversed the charges but have up to 30 days before it actually goes back onto my credit card. The night clerk was very rude. This was their issue but I am forced to deal with the aggrevation of cleaning it up. I will never stay at a Hilton Hotel again ... […] I prefer Hyatt Place anyway! "Excellent Room, Convenient"
The room was wonderful, the bed comfy (adjustable firmness) and the staff fun and friendly. The pool is tiny though so if you're looking to do laps, forget it. The only real problem we had was that the elevators had just been serviced and cleaned (?) ~ the smell was sickening and I literally gagged and choked from it. Afterwards I had to hold a cloth […] over my mouth whenever I rode it as the smell stuck around. The ice machine on our floor wasn't working but those things happen. All in all we did like the place and would stay there again ~ but I would check to be sure they weren't about to or recently service their elevators. Les mer
