Bodde på hotellet i en uke og var veldig godt fornøyd. De annsatte var blide og veldig hjelpsomme. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Etter fem flotte og varme dager i London, forflyttet vi oss til Manchester med hurtigtog. Vi kom sent på kvelden etter forsinkelser med togtrafikken og var gankse slitne og sultne etter en ganske treg togtur. Heldigvis gikk check-in`en gikk rask og smertefritt takket være en serviceinnstilt administrasjon. Men da vi fikk se rommet oppdaget vi flere […] feil, det så rett og slett ut som det hadde vært et party der inne rett før vi kom. Masse hår på vegg-tilvegg-teppet inne på soverommet. Det så nesten ut som det gulvteppet ikke har vært rensa på flere år fordi den var litt grålig i forhold til den fargen den egentlig skulle være, beige. På en del av de hvite veggene var det grå/svarte "stains"...hmmm....når det står i brosjyren inne på rommet at det skal ha vært vaska nøye...skeptisk....!! Dette er jo tross alt et fem-stjernes, da forventer man ikke annet enn perfeksjon. Det at hele leiligheten bare hadde et vindu til sammen gjorde at det var ganske varmt i alle rommene. Vinduet var inne i stua, så det gjorde at vi måtte ha en vifte på soverommet på gjennom hele natten. I tillegg hadde dem dører for hvert eneste rom som gikk automatisk igjen for brannsikkerhetens skyld. Rimelig irriterende til tider når det er såpass varmt i leiligheten i seg selv! I brosjyren sto det selvfølgelig at man ikke "wedge" dørene, men det ble jo vanskelig med tanke på å få kunne sove om natten:-P Vi fant heldigvis en Aircooler inne på varmtvannstank-rommet. Men det ut som den ikke har vært rensa etter at den er blitt installert. Så mye tykt støv har jeg aldri sett på lenge! Ekkelt når den blåser ut kald luft:-S På den nest siste dagen fikk vi problemer med toalettet. Det tok ikke lange tiden etter at man hadde gitt beskjed til administrasjonen at vaktmesteren kom for å fikse toalettet. Vi fikk en oppgradering til et nytt rom fordi vaktmesteren ikke klarte å reparere toalettet som så helt det samme ut, bare at vegg-til-vegg-teppet så ut som det var støvsuga i det minste. Hotellet ligger ikke i kjernen av sentrum. Må belage seg på en del spasering eller taxibruk. Soverommet var som et hotellrom mens resten var som en leilighet med slitt parkett og irriterende dører som lukket seg selv. Men ellers ok. Bad ok.

Dette var perfekt for en litt lengre Manchester-tur. Litt trang seng for 2 kompiser, og kun 1 dune. Men ba om ekstra dyne, og etter det fungerte det meste.

It's just a few hundred yards away from the Beetham Tower and the start of Deansgate with its interesting bars and good restaurants. Also handy to the free Metrolink bus stop and the tram. Hotel is very posh looking when you walk in. Bedroom and bathroom were lovely with high standard applances. Hall flooring was marked by door Lounge and kitchen stunk of bacon (we arrived at 3pm) also flooring was damaged and dicoloured. £100 deposite needed when booking in which should be transfered back to you when ou check out alothough if you do […] it via debit card it takes up to three days (checked out on Sunday it's now thursday and still waiting for £100 back) Apartment was so hot have air conditioning unit and a fan in the cupboard but it was an uncormfortable nights sleep and the heating wasnt even on (we stayed 24/03/2012) Car parking is an extra £9.50 for the night Over all very nie impressive building but for that money i would expect a higher standard of upkeep within the apartment. Iv stayed at the Blue Rainbow on many occasions, and unfortunately this time around i was disappointed to see the standards have dropped. on my previous stays the room had a desk with a mirror and this time it didnt. walked into the livingroom/kitchen and it smelt like a school kitchen. Other 5 star properties have complimentary parking, wifi and this […] one doesnt. also the hot water goes cold after 10 mins. reheating should take 30-40 mins like it says but takes a few hours, not 5 star is it? the balcony had a a glass rail and one of them was broken but was boarded up, not safe at all and certainly not 5 star like. on a positive i have to say that the staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival and departure. i think 4 star would classify with apart-hotel better Les mer

The location was walking distance for everything we were looking for. We found the rooms comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. Parking in the hotel was easy to get in and out of. the only thing lacking was a nice water or city view.

I can't fault the apts or complex. Check in was 3pm however we arrives early, 12pm in order to leave our cases in a secure hold. Fortunately we checked in and were able to go to our apt. The lobby, lift entrance was lovely. The apt was brilliant, we had a two bedroom. It was stylish, very well appointed and most importantly clean. We had a brilliant […] stay and highly recommend. Only few minutes walk from Deansgate train station and about 10 minute walk into the centre of Manchester. Will definitely go there again. Worth every penny. Les mer

Great apartment/ hotel. Would def stay again, went as a group to see show, very convenient and walking distance to shows and trains. Apartment very spacious, clean and comfy, already looking for next show so we can go back!

The apartments are situated in Deansgate and close to the city centre and a wide selection of restaurants. The building is manned 24 hours and so getting in is no problem. The rooms are excellent. We stayed in the premium room which was the best one. It was lovely inside. Very spacious. Only problem we had was the bedroom was quite hot so it was hard to sleep but in the storage cupboard, there is a fan which could be used we may be of help to some people. Also the corridor lights shine through the bedroom window which also can be disturbing. […] But the room was full of little treats like a breakfast pack, chocolates, bath robes and roses. Was a nice tough. The car park was also difficult to find but we found out you have to go to reception before you can enter the none sign posted carpark. Everything was above expectation, except for the cleanliness of the carpets. The kitchen was well-equipped and very clean, as was the refrigerator-freezer. The staff were cheerful, helpful and prompt with solutions at any hour. But the carpets: there was ground-in grime and built-up dust along the skirting boards and in the corners. The carpets in […] the hallways and elevators also looked dingy. Carpets in a hotel in a dirty city like Manchester have to be professionally cleaned every few months. It's not just an aesthetic problem; there is the of risk pest infestation unless carpets are professionally cleaned on a regular basis. A suggestion: tile the hallways and elevators and install wood floors in the apartment bedrooms. You don't really need carpets, because the building is well-enough insulated and heated. We would recommend the BlueRainbow to friends and associates, but do hope the carpet situation can be remedied soon. Les mer

Everything is top notch except for the parking and wifi charges. Considering the high nightly rent for an apartment, parking and wifi should be cheaper, if not complimentary.

We stayed at the blue rainbow for only 1 night but had a superb stay. very quiet hotel and will stay there again

A lovely apartment with nice touches. Finished to a High standard and very clean. However really disappointed to have to pay £100 deposit on arrival for room. It instantly made me question what kind of people must be staying there to need a £100 deposit for a one night stay incase of damages?! It turned out that my hesitations were right and around […] 9pm people starting screaming and shouting out of their windows whilst playing loud music. I was prepared to let it pass thinking they would go out. At 12pm there was still noise as I tried to sleep. At 2am they retuned louder than before running around the corridors like it was student halls. Doors were being slammed and more shouting out of the window. This was on a Monday night so who knows what it's like on a Saturday! The reception staff assured me I was on a quiet floor! It's not worth putting up with the noise just to save on a few pounds. Booked a stay here in advance to see a late gig at the M.E.N for two adults. Upon arrival I noticed that the surrounding area was not the nicest in Manchester, but the building from the outside looked nice. We checked in (the staff member was pleasant but not stand out) and were given the keys to our room and directions to it. I was quite excited to […] see the indoor garden, but I think I was expecting too much. There were only a couple of trees and some hedges. Albeit nice, but not what I was expecting from the photographs. After entering our room I noticed that it was very warm. The first door we opened contained a boiler and a fan, which looked rather unprofessional just placed in there. The next room was the bathroom, which was very clean but the taps were something of a mystery as to how they worked. Experimentation was required to find out how to change the temperature of the water. The next room was the bedroom which looked clean and tidy, however there was a fair amount of stainage on the carpet around the edges of the room and the bed. Plastic roses had been lain on the bed which looked a little tacky. The final room was the combination living room/dining room/kitchen. It had a large TV already turned on, advertising the prices for renting films and such. The view from the window was disappointing; a building site. The 'welcome bag' contained a couple of biscuits, some cereal and a carton of orange juice. There was also one pint of milk in the fridge, nothing really to boast about. Also in the fridge were some bottles of wine, each with a huge price tag which removed any sense of 'ownership' of the apartment, it being a constant reminder that I was a guest here. We then decided to head to town, enquiring about the gym facilities on the way out. This member of staff was very helpful and seemed more professional than the last, he also rung us a taxi; although he did 'chide' us somewhat for not having come down earlier to order one as we would have to wait in Les mer

WOW!! FABULOUS ACCOMDATION WE WERE ONLY SORRY WE WERE STAYING FOR ONLY ONE NIGHT. CLOSE TO DEANSGATE LOCK WITH BUSY BARS, METRO LINK VERY CLOSE AND ONLY SHORT WALK INTO THE CITY CENTRE. WILL BE STAYING HERE AGAIN FOR SURE. STAFF VERY GOOD TOO.

Perfection! Price, location & service were top class. Apartment was exactly like the photos. Lovely people on Reception, 5 mins walk from Deransgate. Will go again!

I stayed for only one night but would definitely stay again. The apartment was lovely and spacious and very clean. As I said, you get much more for your money than just a hotel room.

The room looked great as did the rest of the hotel, it was very spacious and had everything i needed. If there was one bad point it was the lack of air con which was a real problem in the bedroom because there were no windows. I would however recommend this hotel.

The hotel room more than met my expectations and I was impressed with the level of cleanliness of the room. Everything met up to the standard of a 1st class hotel. Yes the rooms do get very warm and the fan and mini extractor was useful but noisy of course. Not sure how else this can be addressed.

It is a new idea of hotel service and we liked it. Would really visit again.

The apartments were large and comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and polite. A great place to stay with your family.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Went with a group of girls for a hen night. Reception staff were very efficient. The apartment spacious and fitted with everything needed to enjoy a fab weekend away with the girls. Would definitely recommend. Would also be a great place to take the family too.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, which is a big bonus for guests. The downside to the apartment is the heat - it is far too warm. Portable aircon unit and a fan provided but still uncomfortably warm. Saying that, if the price is right we would stay again.

I have stayed here before, but in winter during the football season. That was in a 2 bedroom flat and as I recollect was very good. The one bedroom flat I stayed in this time (July - overcast day) was boiling hot - the bedroom was 25 degrees (I measured it), and the fan simply pushed the hot air around the room. I left later that evening, checked out, […] and went to stay at the radisson (and got an upgrade) to a suite for the same price. Be very careful in the summer - you will not sleep. Les mer

The apartments are exactly as described online. Very well appointed and in an excellent location, Will most certainly use them again in Manchester or Edinburgh. Superb value for money.

Very well appointed accommodation - lovely little touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and very large, thick towels. The only downside I would say would be the bedroom which was fairly small and felt a bit claustrophobic as it only had a small window which looked onto an internal courtyard. I was at a conference at the incredibly nearby Manchester Central and found this hotel to be the perfect base. I was able to get to the venue quickly and also able to come back to a very comfortable room. The facilities were superb and the kitchen was brilliant for making little bits of food and saving on potentially expensive trips to restaurants etc. […] A very modern and relaxed hotel, nice and quiet allowing for a good nights rest. Blue Rainbow Aparthotel in Manchester is a good place to stay, specially if you are looking for somewhere quiet. It is also really good place if you want to have some independency and freedom (e.g. not bothering by staff, making your own breakfast/food, etc.). I recommend Blue Rainbow Aparthotel to group of friends or families, who wish to hang out […] together and have good time. However, I have a bit disappointed when I saw some poor condition and maintain of the flat. for instance the AC unit as well as the table lamps in our bedroom is not working properly and had some electrical problem!!! or the provided fan was not cleaned ... I stayed in Bluerainbow Manchester 19th June, It is a modern building as expected but I was disappointed there was no where to park on site as it did say there was but turned out you need to book your space. There is only 1 lift and it’s very slow and the surprisingly there is no air con in the rooms which made it very uncomfortably hot in the apartment […] and it was not a particularly warm day. The design is very nice inside but the large open space made the noise of customers coming back to rooms in the middle of the night too loud. With the noise and heat I will not be going there again, which is a real shame as I thought initially that I had found my ideal place in Manchester. Les mer

I was seriously impresssed by this place. 2 double rooms, both en suite, decent kitchen and eating area and quiet - for very little money. Not exactly central but 10 mins. walk gets you to most places. A refreshing change from the pretentiousness of some hotels.

Me and my partner stayed at the Blue Rainbow Aparthotel - Manchester in June 11 when attending a gig at the apollo. Fantastic apartment! Located about 200 yds from Deansgate train station and row of bars. Great location and the apartment was gorgeous. Very modern and very clean. White company soaps etc but overall a great stay. Will try use if visiting […] Manc again. Definitely recommend... Les mer

lovely hotel, great location. needs a lick of paint and should invest in air conditioning, far to hot never sleapt all night four of us sharing two rooms all four had a bad nights sleep, even getting shower's the bath rooms were too hot.

Standard of this accommodation was very good - only comment would be that the duvets are too high a tog and therefore too warm.... other than that, no issues and would stay again when in Manchester.
