If you are looking for a nice hotel with high standard and good location in central Myrtle Beach, I can recommend this 5 star hotel. We also stayed at this hotel last summer for a few days and will also stay there again if we are going to Myrtle Beach.

"Surpassed my expectations"
Our 2 bedroom condo was very clean and spacious. For the rate we paid I was very impressed. I will definitely stay again.

"Nice View and Big Room"
We enjoyed our room and had a beautiful view. Not much to do in the neigborhood. Definitely a spot for a very peaceful vaction if thats what you are looking for but not a lot of action. Enjoyed the room though.

Would definitely stay there again. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Would have like better view of ocean (all are side views) DVD in living room did not work. However this was just a minor inconvenience. All in all ejoyed the stay

"Breathtaking Views"
The hotel was beautiful, roomy, and clean. The balcony was large with a fantastic views. It was minutes from the beach with great parking.
"not worth the money"
1st room was suppose to be oceanview but we were in room 104 which was swimming pool view, we couldnt open curtains without everyone looking at us, carpet was dirty and stained they moved us to room 703 the 2nd day and the room had a horrible smell that I cant describe I had to stay out of room as much as possible to keep fm vomitting , carpet dirty, […] ceiling fan sound like it was going to fall down at any time and when we informed hotel of problem they said no other room was avail and sent maid up with deodorant spray which didnt do a thing. We paid too much money for this. I have gotten better service fm $89 hotels. Les mer

"The Horizon at 77th in Myrtle Beach"
The Horizon at 77th was very comfortable...it was the size of a condo, with a full kitchen (granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, stove, coffeemaker, etc.). 2 full sliders facing the ocean to access the outside balcony made this stay very pleasant. The cost was a lot less than the Disney/Marriott resort right around the corner (and no charge […] for parking) . Of course the Marriott had more amenities, however if the intent of your stay is to enjoy the ocean and other activities, who needs the amenities? The only thing that affected the stay a bit was that they seem to have issues with their fire alarms going off when humidity hits the fire sensors. Not a problem at night generally, however it still can be an inconvenience when it occurs (which it did once while we were there). Also, the noise level from construction going on all around was high, although we were there during off season, which may account for all of the collective construction noise. Despite the few glitches I would recommend the Horizon at 77th as I was very pleased overall. Les mer

We were very pleased with our stay at Horizon on 77th. The rooms were very modern and clean. Very sound proof which was one of the things we loved. We were overlooking the pool and thought initially that it would be loud but when the doors were closed, we couldn't hear anything. Beds were comfortable. "Horizon at 77th"
I travelled with my daughter and two grandchildren aged 14 and 15. When we entered the hotel room we all went WOW. It was just beautiful. Having the convenience of all the appliances and washer and dryer was great. The rooms were very clean. The one bedroom at the back people have complained that it was dark, but the teenagers loved it because they […] were on their computers a lot. I don't have anything but good to say about the Hotel. "Beautiful Property - Great Value"
This is a very up-scale property that has been maintained very well. The only slight inconveniences we experienced were that there was no hairdryer provided in the 2nd bathroom, and the lighting in the bedrooms was not very good. We had a 2 bedroom suite, but because of the floor plan, neither bedroom had a window and they were both gloomy. These are […] very minor issues. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I certainly recommend this hotel to others looking for a nice place to stay in Myrtle Beach. Les mer
"Horizon Hotel in Myrtle Beach"
We were able to get a room even though we arrived early. When we requested a higher floor and were quite happy with the excellent accomodations. The suite was as large as an apartment and it was quiet.

We had a great time in Myrtle Beach. We did a lot of shopping and eating out. The hotel was very clean and neat. It had everything we needed. Yes, we will return for a longer stay. Everything was as it was quoted to us. It is close to shopping and restrurant. We had the ocean view room and it was very nice to sit on the balony and watch the ocean.

This Hotel was great. Spacious rooms, Very clean. We stayed in a 2 room suite and one of the rooms was very dark with only a small side light. Had trouble when we arrived figuring out where we were supposed to park and after realizing the lobby is on the second floor, it made it much easier. "Outstanding Hotel"
This was my family's first trip to Myrtle Beach, and we're already planning our stay for next summer at the Horizon. We were not given the correct room upon arrival, and I immediately contacted management regarding the inconvenience. The on-site manager upgraded our room to a spacious, 2-bedroom suite with a spectacular view of the ocean. Everything […] indicated on the webpage and more were included in the room, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, granite countertops, flat-screen televisions, washer/dryer, a wine-bar, and beautifully crafted wood furniture. The pillows were perfect and the mattresses slept like a dream! We came prepared with our own pillows and blankets, and ended up leaving those in the car for the duration of the trip. We extended our stay an extra day, because we were so in love with the suite. There was a minor leak from one of the pipes underneath the kitchen sink, but it was immediately repaired by the maintenance staff. This was an excellent get-away from home and we are looking forward to returning to Horizon at 77 (with a larger party) next year. "Outstanding Value"
If you read nothing else, read this: for the money, this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. To wit: 1. The kitchen, albeit small, was nicer than my own. Nice cookware was also available. 2. The suite wasn't huge, but was the biggest space I've ever had for the price. 3. The location was extremely convenient. From our room to the beach was about […] four minutes. 4. The place was squeaky clean. All appliances worked correctly the first time without much user effort. With that come a few caveats, although I admit they are very minor. 1. To say that the room had an "ocean view balcony" may have been a bit of an embellishment. Yes, I could technically see the ocean from my balcony, but there's a whole other hotel between this property and the beach, so the view is lateral, not straight on. I agree, better than nothing, but not quite what I had in mind. 2. The pillows were very soft and lumpy. I read this in another review and thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but if I had it to do again, I would definitely take the time to bring my own pillow. 3. There was no overhead lighting in our bedroom - just two bedside lamps that did very little to illuminate the room. Digging through suitcases to find clothes that matched was quite a chore. 4. Yes, there are two flat screen TVs in the room, but they are not showing any HD content. So kudos for the larger screen, but I'd pay a couple more bucks for actual HD programming. 5. Our DVD player was incorrectly connected to the TV and required quite a physical effort (to move all the furniture) to reconnect it correctly. 6. The elevators are extraordinarily slow. There seems to be no service elevator, so the staff is always getting on and off, making already-long waits and rides even longer. 7. The jacuzzi tub left a little to be desired. It was just a tub with a couple of jets. We never bothered to use it. Still, all in all, a great value. This is a strongly recommended hotel. Les mer
"Very Enjoyable Hotel"
At first when we arrived we they gave us the wrong room, but they immediately corrected it the very next morning. The management and staff was very curteous and helpful with best places to visit. My husband and i will stay there again. The lazy river was the best for the kids and very relaxing for us.
