I think the holiday inn express is a perfect and economical choice. They are always clean an very nice rooms. But they need to do a better job on the breakfast. I wouldn't mind paying a little more if I knew there would be more fresh fruits and the bagels wouldn't all be rock hard.

Very pleased with everything about this motel: reasonable price, clean, comfy beds, free parking, great free continental breakfast, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Excellent all around! Rooms were very clean and roomy and the staff was friendly and helpful! The breakfast variety was great as well. Couldn't ask for a better stay at a great rate!

Great location. Close to a lot of restaurants and fast food places. I would stay there again.

Nice new hotel. Many options for surrounding's restaurants. Only negative comment i that one elevator has been ut of order for more than 3 weeks! Waiting time for the only remaining elevator is boring.

This is the second time we have stayed at your hotel, because of an anual event. The staff were great, very helpful and professional, however the movies were not working, and the tempture of the room did not seem to adjust, it was to warm. Its a very nice hotel, but because of the inconvenince we will probablly look at another hotel in the area.

A comfortable room for the right price. A very good variety for breakfast and the staff were friendly.

Hotel is clean, quiet and their staff are friendly. Breakfast is good but there is always a lack of tables/chairs during busy periods. Wall paper in the hallway and other decors are starting to show a little of its age but this is overall still a nice hotel for the price.

We had horrible customer service. The manager on duty was condescending and was derogatory. Because we had ordered a suite and listed 7 people down instead of 6 (7 because we had one friend who was our driver who was possibly deciding to stay over because it was new years), we got so many unnecessary comments and hostile service. After checking in and […] being warned about the person limit (which we obliged to in the end), we had visitors for the big countdown and on our way up to our room after finishing dinner, the manager followed us upstairs and said the following "so how many people do you have in your room now?" to which we replied, "6 of us and a few visitors who will be leaving after the countdown" and then she had the audacity to state, "oh okay then, we will be coming into your room to check at 12 01, have a nice new years". This is literally the WORST service I have ever received from a hotel or customer service agent. She was condescending, hostile, and rude and was even borderline harassing us. We all felt very uncomfortable during our stay and will most likely never stay at this hotel again. Les mer

This is the second time I used this hotel. It is always clean and the staff are very helpful and efficient. I will book again. This is always my first choice in the area.

This is a new hotel, so not issues at all with maintenance. Clean and confortable rooms. Hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants.

It was good. Wish the curtains in the room fully closed to block out morning light. Rooms are well soundproofed.

We travelled with a senior and was assigned a wheelchair accessible room. It was quite convenient and comfortable. Overall, we are satisfied with the services provided.

As a business women travelling alone I do prefer to have a restaurant available at the hotel I spend the night.

I stayed there recently for a bachelorette party. The hotel service was great, the room was clean, included free wireless Internet, free parking and hot buffet breakfast. it was also cheap compared to other hotels in the area. The only problem was other guests. Some guests were very loud in the hallway and in their rooms, so the noise bothered us a […] little. Comment to confort of my room: TV in our room did not work and after we use the toilet we had to adjust the handle on the container to stop the water. Otherwise, the water flowed continuously. About 10:30pm we got options; 1- they will repair the TV next day or 2- relocate us to another room - Obviously we took the option 2 {next day we moved to another […] room}! We use the services of this hotel in many cases, and I can really tell that it was the first hiccup. Staff-lovely. Les mer

My wife and I stayed while visiting Toronto. We had no complaint at all with this hotel. The hot breakfast was ample with lots of choices. We had only planned to stay one night, but stayed an extra night. Wish all hotels\motels were as good as this one.

We were 4 friends staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Toronto- Markham and we loved our stay! The room was very nice and clean and it felt like home away from home. There's an ipod station: nice addition. And our room had a bar that separated the beds from the living room: perfect for having a little snack while watching tv and talking […] to friends. There's also a 24hours tea/coffee station: great since you don't have to do it in your room and deal with the filters, coffee etc. (even though there is also a coffee maker in rooms). Rooms were spotless. Smelled AMAZING. When they came to fix the beds - perfect. Would definitely stay here again. Hot breakfast was different! Eggs, sausage, biscuits, pancakes, cinnamon rolls.

The main entrance was nice as well as the customer service however I found the pool area quite dirty (evident dirt stains in the bottom) as well as the shower in the room. There was a lot of food available at breakfast, but it was greasy and the bread products too thick and hard. I would most likely book another hotel my next visit.

Upgraded room interior looks more like an upscale hotel than typical Holiday Inn. Exceeded expectations. The one big negative for me was the inability to print out boarding pass quickly. The printer in the business center was not set up properly and it took WAY too long to print out--& it was late at night, not during the busy part of the day. The Mac […] in the lobby is a nice touch, but add a printer here too (and don't require a wifi password to connect to the Internet). Les mer

Everything was as good or better than advertised. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. Would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

I had requested a handicap room. When we got to the hotel it was not available. It was difficult because I had just had a hip replacement surgery and really needed the special bathroom. Our stay was short or we would have had to leave.

The hotel room was clean, the employees freindly. I did complain about the noise level of the room across from us as they were up all night banging their doors and were very loud. When I left my room in the morning there was food ground into the carpet. The front desk asked if they could do anything but it was too late.

The room was adequate but the bed was horrible. The top sheet and blankets were too short, the mattress had a bed wetting plastic sheet on it and the pillows were all lumpy rubber. Just terrible. The worst part was no signal from their wireless internet service. I would never stay here again.
