Have stayed there in the past and it is always a pleasant stay, staff is excellent and the full breakfast is really great. Will recommend to anyone going that direction

Can't go wrong here. Very comfortable and immaculate rooms. Only 2 negatives. 1. Breakfast staff look very unhappy and do not reciprocate when greeted with " Good Morning". That tends to spoil one's breakfast experience. 2. Fitness room is much too hot.

Great hotel, I have stayed here plenty of times. A five star hotel...

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definatly return.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. Had the best breakfast I have had at a hotel buffet which was included with the room price.

Probably the best hotel I have stayed at ever for the price. Gorgeous decor, beautiful, comfortable rooms, sparkling clean. Wonderful, large breakfast area over--looking the mountains. Well maintained indoor pool/hot tub. Great gym. Friendly staff. We were on a 3 week roadtrip and were only going to stay one night, but actually extended our stay to […] another night, we liked it so much. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. Our stay (me, my grown daughter and her two children) arrived fairly late (10 p.m.) to the hotel. The children wanted to swim and we were hoping the pool would be open until 11 p.m. It was open until midnight. So my grandchildren got to enjoy the pool easily until 11 p.m. and we didn't feel rushed at all. And it was indoors, which was wonderful, because […] we didn't have to worry about the outside weather! The room was VERY comfortable and the hot breakfast the next morning was very good with a wonderful selection of hot and cold food. We were leaving early to make it to a 9 o'clock parade in a town close by so we were glad to be able to go right down and enjoy a good breakfast and be on our way. We hope to stay at this facility again and would highly recommend it. Right off Interstate 77, very convenient. Les mer

very nice stay, enjoyed the K cup coffee, and the continental breakfast was very good. Hot tub/Spa very clean.

A really nice chain hotel nearly in the middle of no where. Great room. Better than most free breakfast, for their chain level. Only complaint is that the Keurig coffee provided was flavored and I'm not a fan of flavored coffee. Free light snacks available 24/7. Other light snacks available for purchase 24/7. If you're in the area, stay there.

Beautiful Hotel, brand new, clean. Awesome breakfast buffet! We will definitely stay here the next time we come through North Carolina!

We only spent one night, but the hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was just big enough for our grandson to get some exercise after a long day in the car.

Saturday AM, we left our room to go to breakfast. The cleaning service person, who was down the hall, asked us if we needed anything. We replied, "no thanks," not realizing that what he meant was "would you like your room serviced." The very same thing happened to our friends who were traveling with us. We were very surprised to arrive back at the hotel […] and not have our rooms cleaned. When I approached the desk clerk about it the next morning (I think he was a manager), he supported the actions of the hotel cleaning staff. Nice hotel, but that experience tarnished my overall assessment. The four of us all travel a lot, for business and pleasure. Never have we experienced anything similar. I suggest that the management take a better look at their room cleaning policies. Les mer

The location of this Hotel was perfect for our trip. We were very pleased with our stay. It had everything we needed. Kids loved the pool. I loved the outdoor fireplace and sitting area. The breakfast bar area was excellent. I would have loved to stay for another night, but we needed to move on. Would stay here again for sure next time we go south.

It may seem odd to say this about a rural, Interstate-side hotel, but this may be the best run hotel I have ever stayed at. (I stay often at hotels ranging from the low-end to the Ritz-Carleton and the like, here and abroad.) We stayed here two years ago when it was apparently brand new, and were highly impressed. We decided to modify our drive to stay […] here again on a recent road trip to see if it managed to stay so nice after the newness had worn off. If anything I was more impressed the second time. The decor is a clean, brightly colored contemporary style, with a lobby that (were it half the size) would be perfect for a nice Manhattan boutique hotel. The rooms are similarly contemporary in design. Everything was immaculate. We stayed just after Christmas, and the entire hotel was decorated beautifully. Even the elevators were dressed for the season. I happened to see inside one of the cleaning service rooms, and they even had a fully decorated tree in there! The staff were *all* very nice, helpful, outgoing, and above all—competent at their jobs. I can't stress how nice, and how rare, this is, even at five-star places. The breakfast was well-staffed, tasty, and except for a brief bacon crisis, always fully stocked. (If you never run out of bacon at a buffet, your bacon isn't very good) Good mattresses. Good shower heads. Good towels. Good coffee, in several varieties, on offer at all times of the day. Good price. It isn't the Ritz, of course, but for everything one of these traveller's rest hotels should do, this hotel does exceptionally well. And it does a few other things above and beyond. With a smile. This hotel was great! Not what you'd expect in Elkin, NC. The decor was very eclectic; but tasteful. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The lobby and lounge areas (including the outside patio complete with firepit and water fountain) were spectacular - very comfortable and inviting. The room was well equipped and spacious. This is the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at. Very hip, loved the decor - the pictures are EXACTLY as the hotel is. The service was awesome - breakfast was good - the pool was fantastic! Will definately stay here again!
