Vi bodde 5 dager på dette hotellet. Rommet har atkomst fra svalgang og er av vanlig amerikansk standard. Hotellet er beliggende i annen rekke fra stranden, litt langt mot nord, men med hyggelige omgivelser. Bassenget er lite for voksne, men ok for mindre barn. Rommet inneholder mikrobølgeovn og kjøleskap, men det er dårlige muligheter for å spise på rommet.

Det var stor forsell på rommene vi fikk. Det ene var ok på alle måter, mens det andre hadde en inngangsdør som så vidt lot seg åpne og lukke. Og i gangen var det litt dårlig lukt, samt at det ikke var særlig varmt på badet. Rommene er utstyrt med lokalt aircondisionagregat, og dtte medfører endel støy. Videre virker restaurant og bar "litt kalde" og ikke så alt for trivelige. Et pluss for gode senger og masse puter for dem som liker dette.

Hotellet har en fin beliggenhet nede ved sjøkanten og i direkte forbindelse med et fint gangsystem langs bryggene, og samtidig nært til Norfolks trivelige bysentrum. Betjeningen er hyggelig og hjelpsom.

"You get what you pay for."
Not a bad hotel for the price. The hotel could definitely use a renovation but overal it was clean and the staff were nice. Was not impressed with the indoor pool as it was much smaller than the picture indicated and it's pretty crazy when there are more the 4-5 kids running around. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Bagels/cereal/toast/juice. […] I like that it was located on the beach and was cheap. Les mer

"Parking"
There is limited parking and they only allow one car per room. So if you are traveling with another couple or person in seperate cars you will have to pay to park the 2nd car. The room was clean and in a great location at the Oceanfront, we would definately stay there again.

This is an older hotel but it is clean and the staff is so friendly. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, I was even contacted by the front desk to make sure I was happy with my room. If you are looking for a sleek new property for your stay this isn't for you but if you want a clean affordable room give this one a try.
"It's all about location!"
This hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the beach. Everything you could ever need is within walking distance. Being an older hotel, it had stains in the carpet/walls and ceiling and I'm not sure exactly what that smell was. Kind of like an old vacum cleaner! The walls are a bit thin and the AC wasn't exactly up to par in the main lobby but […] our room was fine. Overall it was nice to have a microwave, small safe and coffee maker in the room. "Days Inn Oceanfront-Va Beach"
Fair for the price. ( cheaper than many in area) Structure needs work!!! There are very prominent stains, cracks and rust through out the Hotel-- large pool but we passed due to lack of cleanliness..Parking is terrible-- not enough spaces for hotel guests.....**Location and views are best attributes!

We just went down to the beach for a couple of day s to chill. I'm glad our plans were not to just stay in the room. It was okay, but the beds could use some updating. They are very hard and I could feel the springs in them. I would not recommend this hotel if you plan to relax in bed. "Awesome stay at Virginia Beach Oceanfront"
We had an awesome stay! The view was absolutely gorgeous! It was wonderful to leave the door open with the waves crashing all night. The room was wonderful, very clean.

Wanted to get a way for the weekend and looking for sometrhing nice and not too expensive. Days Inn Oceanfornt was perfect. Nice hotel, the staff was friendly, polite, and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

This Hotel is very well priced and it had a good continental breakfast. But it is somewhat of a older hotel, Walls and ceiling in the room were cracked. With old paint that made it look like a 80s hotel room. The balconys are only devided by a metal railing so you can see all the way down the hotel, not much privacy. "Time to get up"
My daughters an I enjoyed the nice warm pool despite the chilly outside temperatures. The room was clean and we had a great view of the ocean. I dont complain very often and I didn't at the hotel either. They were remodeling a room next door to ours and the work started at 7:45 both mornings while we were there. Walls were being pounded on with a hammer […] and scraped with something directly opposite our resting heads. What the heck I said to my girls and got up for the day. Days Inn Virginia Beach is a great hotel for the price. Clean room with updated furnishings, nice balcony (though not very private). The pool area was a bit sketchy and didn't look too clean- entrance is through stairs on the second floor. The free breakfast was better than expected. GREAT location. Close to shops and restaurants. Parking is not plentiful […] in front of the hotel but there is a free lot around the corner. The beds were really firm.. like REALLY firm. Beautiful views from the balcony. This is the hotel that has the ocean views/ocean front. For the price, it is a great bargain. Les mer

Needing an overnight only... got a great rate on a nice room. Friendly front desk folks and a heated pool were a pleasant surprise. Ocean view from balcony with a microwave and a coffee maker. Hair dryer in room with iron and ironing board. Big screen digital (not HD) tv with alot of channels and a working remote. Alarm clock in room. Non-smoking floor […] were a plus too! Recommended. "Romantic Weekend"
I wanted a quiet clean hotel with a king sized bed on the oceanfront that allowed smoking. What I got was all of that, a friendly staff, a great view of the Holiday Lights display right outside our window all for a great low price. I spent weeks looking at pricier hotels and the pick this Days Inn and I'm so glad I did! It was a great romantic getaway […] for a couple of locals! We will be back maybe this time we'll check into the Jacuzzi room! Les mer

We loved that all the rooms face the ocean - liked having a fridge and microwave too. The night staff was wonderful. The cleaning crew was considerate. We had a lovely stay.

This hotel is located near 24th street which makes it a short walk up the boardwalk to the massive statue of King Neptune (31st St.) and the high-ends shops near it. It's also a short walk on the boardwalk in the other direction to more great beach attractions. We were there in mid-January when some beach shops are closed. "Clean and nicely appointed"
The room was clean and had all the amenities I look for. Nothing in the room looked old or worn. The staff were courteous. Very pleasant stay.

"Granddaughters 1st trip to the beach"
Days Inn Virginia beach oceanfront. We had a very nice stay. The hotel is quiet. The view of the ocean is wonderful. We watched the dolphins swimming several times. Stayed 2 nights. We did the holiday parade of lights on the boardwalk, very nice. My granddaughter even went into the ocean because it was in the 70's outside. Staff is friendly and helpful […] for the most part. "The Manager does not care"
The stay was ok. The room was clean. The biggest problem we had was we had brought expensive towels from home because hotel towels are small and thin. They were not kept in the bathroon so the maids would not take them. Well guess what the towels disappeared. I spoke to 4 different people about it and nobody seemed to care. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the bathroom, had hair on the floor, but the next day was taken care of. Loved the balcony, perfect for the sunrises. Hotel is dated, and in need of paint and upkeep, but for the off season price, was well worth it. Had it been in season, our room would have been too close to the boardwalk and the noise […] level. It is like all other hotels facing ocean. Great location with Balcony. We really enjoyed our one night stay. Staff(Nancy) is so courteous. Rooms are clean and neat.

I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. We got "trapped" in the pool room because you are forced to access stairs to the 2nd floor in order to exit the pool. Their continental breakfast was a joke--we'd done better at a convenience store. There was no water pressure in the shower, the tub drained slow--all this after swimming in the ocean--yuck!!! Their […] parking is a nightmare. They fail to tell you that they don't have adequate parking for all tenants, so you must park off-site. The building should be raised and rebuilt. "This hotel has gone downhill in the last few years"
When this hotel was privately owned and called Ocean Holiday it was a good economy Ocean Front hotel at VA Beach. Since becoming a Days Inn this hotel has been allowed to go downhill a lot! I would rather spend the night in my car knowing it has been cleaned in the last few months unlike this Days Inn room which we stayed. I and my family were scared […] to walk on the stained carpets and kept the AC off as the mold and dust seemed to choke us. Even the ocean front location does not warrant the over priced room with paint chips falling off the walls and even a cracked toilet seats. Stay away from this over priced roach hotel! I will never return and I am extremely disappointed as I have been coming to this hotel for years...Too bad...good Luck Days Inn! Les mer

For the price you pay, you get an excellent value. You get an Ocean Front room for far less than you pay at other hotels on the strip. The room was clean and functional. There was a fridge and microwave in the room.
