Nice hotel with central location downtown. The building is old, but dignified and the rooms are absolutely at an acceptable standard. Many have commented that the bathrooms are old, but they are clean, they work and there is hot water in the tap – so it should not bother you if you are not overly dependent of modern facilities. Actually, it only underlines the theme of the hotel/ club. Be aware that there is a dress code in all restaurants; business casual is the standard. My only complaints from the stay would be a rather expensive breakfast and an extreemly unstable WiFi. The latter was extreemly anying when trying to get some work done and sending emails. But, if you are looking for a pricy alternative in downtown St. Louis with a flair of 19th century USA this is the place!

Hotellet ligger downtown St. Louis og midt i konferanseområdet. I gaten som hotellet ligger i er det mange restauranter og utesteder. Stort hotell som består av to deler der den andre del er en suite-del. Hadde en suite som var enorm i forhold til prisen jeg betalte. Et flott hotell som anbefales.

"Close to WashU"
Very friendly staff and very clean room. Unfortunately one of the elevators wasn't working during our stay. Have stayed there a number of times and will stay again.
Room was clean when we arrived - but i don't think we had any housecleaning service during our stay. If we did not too noticeable - trash taken out, but bed not made, towels not refreshed. I did not want new sheets or all new towels, but i can usually tell they were there. Also while the bed was brand new, it was way to rock hard for me. I personally […] did not sleep well during our stay but this may be more of a personal preference. Les mer

"Very nice - but thin walls"
I had a great stay - but noisy neighbors in the surrounding rooms would have been very distracting if I was not so exhausted from the day's events.

I was in St. Louis for a sporting event, and this hotel was fairly handy to the downtown area. The room was nice, although they could have cleaned the bathroom counter better. They provide one of the better "free" breakfasts I've had at any hotel. Staff was very pleasant and responsive. Handy parking. Nice to be within walking distance of so many dining […] options. Overall, had a great stay. The room was CLEAN and huge so it was great! The staff was ok, not super friendly but not rude either... Oh well, there's not that much contact with them anyway. I would stay here again.

"wonderful location"
This hotel is ideal for anyone that needs access to SLU or Washington University. Highway is easily accessible and shopping is close. Nice place for families that want a central St. Louis location.

This hotel is the place to stay if your visiting the area!! Driving in I had my reservations but as soon as we checked in they all disappeared. The front desk lady was super nice and very fast as we checked in. The room was extremely nice and I would say even a bit much for our one night stay! I wanted to stay longer! For dinner you are within walking […] distance (and by that i mean a couple hundred YARDS) away from several restaurants in many different price ranges. There was a walmart across the way i was relieved to see when we realized we had forgotten some items at home. The breakfast was perfect for our family, I woke up early and went down for myself and when I went down two hours later for my family it was still fully stocked. The only bad thing I can say about this stay was that we were unfortunate enough to be in a room right by the elevators and they make a loud "DING" when they arrive on your floor but that will not prevent me from staying here night time I visit the area!! "Nice new hotel with large and comfy rooms"
My wife, son and I stay here often. The hotel is nice and new, the parking garage (free) is great, and the nearby restaurants are both perfect for our needs. The only complaint we had was that on our latest trip we ordered an extra set of sheets for the pull-out couch, and when they arrived it appeared the staff had placed clean sheets into a dirty […] bag. The bag had stains on it and there were black hairs in it. It was replaced quickly at our request and all was well. We will stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone visiting St. Louis County. Les mer
"In Town for a Family Reunion"
In our room was Mom, two grown daughters and grandson. Next door was Mom, daughter and son-in-law, and two grandsons. Everyone slept very comfortably. Staff was accommodating and pleasant. Breakfasts far exceeded standard hotel fare. Parking convenient and free. We even took advantage of the swimming pool and printed our boarding passes on the lobby […] computer. Les mer
"Springhill Suites - very accomodating"
We arrived much earlier than check-in time, but they said our room was ready and, surprisingly, right next to my sister and her family. We had 9 in the 2 rooms and never felt cramped. Breakfast buffet was a nice feature, as well. If in St. Louis again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This hotel is close to all the sites we visited (Arch, Gran's Farm, and Zoo) The only negatives of this hotel--the walls are paper thin and the beds were hard as a rock!!

Hotel and Room were very Clean. Small parking lot so parking is in ramp at location. Didn't use pool but saw that it was rather small. Breakfast was plentiful and many choices. Staff kept items filled. Nice location - only minutes from downtown St. Louis.

If you're visiting St. Louis and needing a hotel with amenities and close to nearly everything, this is the place to go. Just minutes from the zoo, our intended destination, we found that it was on the fringes of a great group of neighborhoods as well. The hotel offered a clean and family-friendly place to stay, the breakfast was what is to be expected […] and overall was a very nice place to stay. While some of the channels on the TV were lacking for kids to watch and the room for the breakfast was limited, it was still a great place to stay. Ample covered parking was a nice addition too! We stayed in a king suite that had a sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa easily handled the six year old and two year old. The pool area was clean and well maintained but a little small. Les mer

"Wonderful Hotel!"
Our stay was the same evening as the tornadoes and the staff was very friendly and helpful during this event. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean. Would stay here again in a heart beat.
"Enjoyed Springhill Suites"
I took my son to St. Louis for a weekend trip, and I booked 2 nights at Springhill Suites in Brentwood using Hotels.com. The location was easy to find, which is good for someone as directionally-challenged as I am! I must admit, however, that I was a little worried when I first pulled into the parking lot and saw how few parking spots there were in […] front of the building. I quickly noticed, though, that there was a parking garage adjacent to the hotel, and I was able to park without walking far at all. Also, I was able to leave my vehicle parked in front of the door while I checked in and also while we carried our luggage up to our room. Our room was perfect for the two of us. The entire room had a more modern feel than most hotels I've been in. The bed was comfy, with extra pillow and blanket in the closet, if needed. The bathroom didn't have a tub but, rather, a large shower with plenty of room to move around. My only complaints were: 1. that the corner of the shower could have been cleaned a little better, but it was by no means disgusting. and 2. the pool seemed to be just slightly murky We were only 10 or 15 minutes from the main attractions in downtown St. Louis and even closer to the free and awesome St. Louis Zoo. This hotel is clean and new. It has a great parking garage attached and is very close to I-170 and Hwy 40 interchange. Breakfast was average and the rooms were as expected on size and comfort.

Very nice newer hotel. Comfortable room and like the separated space so someone who gets up earlier can read and not disturb sleeper. Only negative would be that there was hair on the bathroom floor.

"Cold air coming into the room!"
The windows and outside wall allowed a lot of cold air to enter the room. Half of the room was warm but the bed next to the window was freezing since the outside temp was 20 degrees. I had to get four additional blankets for the bed just to be able to sleep without

I was really pleased with this hotel. The beds were comfortable, rooms was clean and quiet, nice flat screen TV and the staff was friendly. It was a 5 minute drive to the mall, restaurants and Forrest Park. I would highly recommend this hotel for those on a budget and spending most of there time outside of downtown.

We thoought this was a great room for the price. The room was large, comfortable and clean! The only drwaback was that the bathroom sink and vanity was outside of the shower stall and somwhat open. It did not provide you with much privacy. Other than that, we were quite pleased with the hotel and location. We would definitely stay there again.
