Kjempesentralt hotell i Gamlebyen,men godt gjemt resepsjon i hotellet Måtte gå gjennom en restaurant :/ Et stort minus var at det var veldig støyete.Vi bodde i 4 etg i et 4 mannsrom og sov dårlig hver natt :( Men som sagt : utrolig sentralt til alt og superfin by!!! Husk at taxien ikke kan kjøre helt frem til hotellet.

Hotel Maximillian er et hotel utenom det vanlige! Hotellet har en sjarmerende og hyggelig betjening, en ubeskrivelig frokost og sist men ikke minst; en beliggenhet som best kan beskrives som "midt i smørøyet", men likevel skjermet og i rolige omgivelser. Frokosten er nevnt, med det meste av utvalg pluss litt til (oppskåret frukt i mange varianter, franske oster osv). I tillegg til dette har de en egen meny der du kan bestille bl.a. omelett (bestem selv ingrediensene), egg i alle variasjoner, frisk smoothie osv. osv. Hotellet tilbyr organisert joggetur to ganger i uka for mogenfulgler (starter 07:15). Her tar en av de ansatte med interesserte gjester på en kombinert treningstur og sightseeing der treneren oppleves som en fullbefaren guide med detaljerte kunnskaper om byen. Topp! Vel verdt å nevne er også hotellets bar. Honesty Bar mangler bartender, og gjestene selv inviteres til å forsyne seg av alt fra cognac og wiskey, øl og vin, til kaffe og kaker eller bare et glass vann. Skriv deretter opp hva du har tatt og romnummer, så kommer det på regningen. Alltid hyggelig å bli stolt på. Hotell Maximillian var en av hovedgrunnene til at vi storkoste oss i Praha. Vi anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste!!!

Hotellet ligger med alt av severdigheter og shopping i umiddelbar nærhet. God frokost på hotellet, men savner bar eller lounge. Bra service.

Flott hotel med sentral beliggenhet. Kort vei til gamlebyen, og ingen støy om natten. God frokost og trivelig betjening. Hvis du ikke ønsker å benytte minibaren er det en kiosk 20 meter fra hotellet, med særdeles gode priser.

Vårt tredje opphold i Praha og vårt tredje opphold på Hotel Roma. Det sier alt. En fantastisk by og et bra hotell når en ikke søker maksimal luksus. Mye igjen for pengene.

Super beliggenhet med gåavstand til det aller meste. Servicen på hotellet er kjempegod, personalet behersker engelsk veldig godt, og er hjelpsomme og løsningsorienterte. Frokosten er utrolig bra, med en rolig og behagelig stemning og muligheter til å bestille varmmat etter eget ønske. Hotellet passer nok best for voksne som reiser til Praha for å slappe […] av og nyte noen fridager. Anbefales på det varmeste. Vi har selv bodd der ved to anledninger. Les mer

"Good value hotel in the heart of Prague"
Lovely, good value hotel, at the edge of the old town. Spacious rooms, nice bathroom, excellent breakfast which was served until 1130 in the weekend. Very clean and well run hotel in every way. Would gladly stay here again.

"FLOTT HOTELL I ROLIG OMRÅDE"
Dette er et forholdsvis lite hotell beliggende i en rolig gate nær politistasjonen. Består av to flotte og relativt nyoppussede bygninger med velstelt og rolig bakgård. Vi hadde stort, pent og luftig rom vendt mot bakgården. Delikat bad og generelt meget bra renhold! Deilig frokost med varmretter! Hyggelig betjening og kort avstand til severdigheter […] og shoppingområder. Liten lobbybar på hotellet men ingen matservering utover frokost. Anbefales! Les mer

The hotel is well kept and clean. Breakfast has a small selection but well maintained, good quality in a charming environment. Staff was attentive and polite. I stayed during Easter holiday, so prices were quite high for what it was. Overall, it was a nice experience. The convenient location is unbeatable.

Went to Prague for a long weekend in March with my boyfriend. Chose Unitas because they had great reviews and they didn't disappoint. The hotel was very easy to find and the staff were friendly. The room was immaculate. In fact, the entire hotel was completely spotless. The bed was so comfy and it was very quiet. There were road works going on nearby […] which could be heard outside, but inside the hotel you couldn't hear a thing! It was an easy walk to Old Town Square. Felt very safe as the hotel is opposite a police station. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. They also spoke excellent English, which was great because our attempts at Czech were laughable. When we left we had a late evening flight and they held onto our bags all day after we checked out - no hassle whatsoever. I would definitely recommend it! Les mer

Unitas has wonderful service and paid attention to all the details. We were upgraded to the family suite and they had toys and a chair and table for our little one in the room. Also, plastic dinnerware for a child. This is wonderful when traveling with children. The room was spotless and very spacious. Location was excellent and quick walk to all sights. They also had travel books in the lobby to browse and movies to borrow to take to your room...great for families who have to get children to bed. Huge rooms, high ceilings, safe and fridge in room. Lighting excellent thus we could plan from guidebooks in evening. English language channels on TV. Bathroom like a spa. Very […] convenient to both old and new towns. Bus to castle district nearby. Nitpicking: coffee and tea corner not useful. More like an apartment than a hotel bedroom. There was a good selection for breakfast and if the buffet (cold and hot) wasnt enough you could order other hot food such as omelettes.They also have tea and coffee stations on each floor, just help yourself -great idea. The staff were all helful and spoke good clear english. I would say this hotel is more for the family or couple rather than the stag and hen scene. Location was perfect, very close to public transit and just a few blocks from all major "Old Town" attractions. Rooms were very good and breakfast buffet great. Would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Unitas Hotel. The facility is beautifully decorated, the front desk very helpful and our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast each morning was a delight and we appreciated the use of a computer in the lobby.

A really good hotel. Situated just off the main busy areas of Prague this old secret service building still resembles the convent it once was and has been tastefully turned into a comfortable hotel. Unless you want to pay loads of dosh in a posh hotel, this place is a no-brainer.

We stay 4 nights at the Unitas hotel in Prague. The hotel is very well located, beautifully decorated and the staff are very helpful. We had the family suite which is big, Quite, has lots of light, very well decorated. Breakfast is just great!! One of the best we had. We would defienetly recommend this hotel to anyone who come visit Prague.

"Unitas clean tranquil great breakfasts"
As well as the above the hotel is in a quiet location but close to all the best sights and shopping with good restaurants as well. The actual street is a bit shabby but safe and the uplifting surroundings in the hotel more than make up for the slightly dull street for 100meres or so outside.

"Unitas, a must-stay!"
We stayed at Unitas in late August and so happy we did! The hotel more than met our expectations. Clean, unique, all conveniences included. The included breakfast had good variety that served as our energy kick-start into a day's exploration in Prague. We had a 1st floor room which had 12 foot ceilings and plenty of wiggle room. Our view looked out […] onto a courtyard left with reminants of the convent including a statue of Jesus. This courtyard was behind the prison-like gates left behind. We felt very protected :). The only thing we would have changed would have been the softness of the sheets. They were all the same each day they were changed so I'm thinking that's all they had. Pretty rough sheets but certainly something we could overlook given the emmaculate condition of Unitas. We will certainly tell family and friends about this place if they ever need a place to stay in Prague. Les mer

"Fantastic Hotel"
We stayed here in July and it was an outstanding hotel. Located close to the Old Town, Charles Bridge, the largest disco, this hotel made3 our stay in Prague memorable. The room was clean and we encountered no problems with the hotel or saff. In fact, the staff did everything to make our stay fun. They helped us with the languqge barrier (not that hard […] almost all businesses and restaurants speak English). I can't say enough about the quality of the staff and the facilities at this hotel. The breakfast was amazing, and likely one of the most thoughtful I have ever seen. The rooms were spacious and in top condition. But what sets this place apart is the staff. Prior to my visit, they assisted me look at other regions to visit, and after we returned for […] a forgotten item, after days in the south of the country, they had kept it for us, held our luggage as we enjoyed a final few hours in Prague, arranged the driver, (this all after we had checked out days earlier) and as we walked out, the rain began to pour. There were many great things about this hotel, but if I had to make any criticisms it would be limited to two. Our room was plain and very clean, however I found the bottom sheet on my bed to be rough which bothered me throughout the night. I think the hotel needs to replace their bottom sheets that have seen better days. The comforter was fine, but […] the bottom sheet was pilled. Secondly, there was one receptionist who was not very friendly and acted annoyed when we asked for directions or recommendations for dining which is unfortunate as the others where very friendly. The room was very large, including a spacious bathroom. Best shower I had in my 1 month of travels. The hotel was clean and modern and the breakfast was excellent. I have a few complaints: yes,the location is walking distance to Old Town Square and Charles Bridge, but the immediate neighborhood isn't very lively or happening. The front desk staff were […] limited in their knowledge about local restaurants or concerts. And the wifi connection was poor for Apple products. "Unitas Hotel is Perfect"
The quality and comfort of the Unitas was superb. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of virtually everything we wanted to do. Being off on a quiet street out of the hubub was a bonus. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was abundant. I had absolutely no complaints.

A former convent and, during the communist era, prison, the Unitas offers spacious rooms and bathrooms on a quiet street on the edge of the old town near the river. I found this hotel on the Trip Advisor website and was delighted that it met and exceeded all expectations. How delighted we were to have complimentary Wi Fi and apples! How delighted we were to have such an elegantly furnished and spacious room! We could not believe how quiet it was and yet so close to all we wanted to see. The breakfasts were fabulous. […] The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The cost of the hotel was also very reasonable for it's great quality and excellent location. The hotel also had a very interesting history which made our stay all the more meaningful. We will definitely come back to this hotel even if we have to travel ,all the way from Australia. Les mer

"Fabulous hotel"
This was a brilliant choice of hotel, thanks to previous reviewers’ comments. The location is great - a half-hour relaxed walk from the main train station pulling my luggage - close to the river and everything I wanted to see, especially in Stare Mesto and Mala Strana, but Prague is a dense city and much more of it is accessible on foot than I had guessed […] by looking at the map. My lovely, large, high-ceilinged room was beautifully decorated, airy and light, with a large, well-designed bathroom and tall windows overlooking the quiet street. All staff I encountered were consistently friendly and helpful, going out of their way to answer my many questions. The breakfasts exceeded all expectations, even after reading the very positive reviews - the food, service, decor and music equal to any fine restaurant, and it was never overcrowded. I was able to borrow DVDs to play in my room and check my email on the computer in the library. I can fault nothing whatsoever in this charming hotel. I spent ages comparing many Prague hotels on the internet, and it was well worth the time it took to choose Unitas. I can’t thank you enough for making my stay in your exquisite city so pleasant and relaxed. Les mer

Unitas was a great bargain. Centrally located, good room, comfortable bed. Large bathroom with tub. Mini-bar, and a safe. Centrally located from main train station. After getting off train from Berlin, the information booth helped us find the local train (tram) to hotel. It was easy. Czech has their own currency, you will need 26 crowns to buy ticket […] for tram to get to hotel. We bought crowns before we got there from bank in u.s.a. Staff, overall, was excellent. There is one grumpy, mean front desk clerk, Tereza. Avoid her and don't ask for any important information from her. The other staff members were excellent, kind and friendly. Les mer
