"place to crash"
If you want to arrive late and leave early then it's ok. it's right on the main road so it isn't a "hang out " kind of hotel. No internet connection.
"Convenient to all"
Good, clean, small inn for a one night stay. Very accommodating receptionist. Drawback is noise from traffic just a few feet from the door and from people talking outside! Definitely not a sound proof room.
It was adequate but not my taste. A real motel. Cheap and convenient.
"Lenox hotel"
Room was basic but clean. They have this strange requirement to take down your license number when you stay. Not your license plate, but your actual license. They site some obscure Massachusetts law, but I've never had to provide my license for any hotel I've ever stayed at. Weird.

The hotel office smelled of cat urine and one if the 2 rooms I booked smelled as though someone or something died in the room and decomposed there. The second room booked was not as bad smelling but it was still very tainted with the stench from the room next door. The Inn could be a much better place to stay if the odor alone was removed but there […] was issues with clumps of dark colored hair in one of the beds (in the worse smelling room). We checked the beds for bed bugs and thankfully found none but the hotel overall was very eery and sketchy feeling. Les mer
Not a terrible place to stay. Room didn't smell fresh had a funky spice smell. Air conditioner didn't work well do room was very stuffy

"Cheap and convenient"
If you find yourself needing a place to stay in Lenox - and really just need a bed and a shower, this place is great. It is not luxurious or fancy at all, but the beds are comfy and it's convenient to the pike. It's dated but kept clean.

"Not an Inn but Good Eats Across the Street"
When I hear inn, images come to mind. Lenox Inn is none of them. But the room was presentable, though tiny with all the luggage we had in tow. And I was a bit disturbed by the small red dots on the front & side wall of the shower/ tub that flaked off when I scratched one...my imagination started working overtime. Best part of our stay was finally getting […] here after a long drive in the rain, followed by a very yummy meal at Panda House Chinese restaurant (not affiliated with Lenox Inn), which is almost right across the street from Lenox Inn. Next time I'm looking for a cheap place in the area, I'll probably stay at the Rodeway in Lee (and will get a bigger room with a microwave & king bed). But we will definitely go back to Panda Chinese in Lenox! Les mer
"Not bad"
I stay here regularly; at times the detail of cleanliness is lacking, like the tops of baseboards, heaters, shower liner, the nooks & crannies. Otherwise, it's pretty good and a good value. Summer the value is added by the great private pool in the back.
The room was small and had a musky smell to it; the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's located on the main road; you can hear the traffic from your room at all times. Overall, I would recommend it for the price.
The motel was clean, had a nice size flat screen tv and the bathroom was clean.
"Lenox Inn -- old but serviceable"
The Lenox Inn is definitely old, but is quite serviceable and good value for the cost. The mattress was slightly sagging, but not worth changing rooms. The Wi-Fi in the room was excellent. The small refrigerator tended to freeze things, but we probably could have adjusted the thermostat. It was quiet. "Lenox - just outside of Pittsfield"
The motel is a neat and clean 2.5 to 3 star hotel. Clean and neat and not fancy. It is on a strip of heavily traveled highway with every chain of low end motels, Comfort Inn, Econ lodge, etc. I would return...particularly at the price. It is a perfect room for sleeping.

We did not expect much, however, control of our own heat would have been nice. To top it all off, the last guests cloth was still in the dresser! Never again will we stay anywhere that does not give you control of your own room temp.

Do not stay here. It is like something out of a horor movie. I was put in the room nearest the road which sounded like sleeping in the highway itself. The owner came to the desk in bare feet and shorts - very unprofessional. The place had a feel of cheapness about it and the furnishings were really dated and not at all nice. An older but pleasant hotel. Comfortable and a great value for the price. We would return to the hotel if we travel to Lenox, MA again.

"Just OK"
The hotel/room was just OK. Check in staff was not very chatty. The first room we were assigned (119)was down a hallway to the rear. It was a very good sized room and the bathroom was redone, but the room must've been right near the furnace, because the room smelled heavily of oil. (we could hear the furnace running also). We asked to be moved and they […] gave us a room right next to the road (#117). The traffic noise was very noticable. We should've asked for another room, but didn't. The noise quieted down around 11pm, but picked right back up by 6 am. So much for sleeping in!! Overall, it was just OK for the price. I wouldn't stay for more than 1 night. The bed was comfortable. Pillows were way to big and no shampoo is provided - so bring your own. Les mer

If all you need is a stop off place (just a clean bed to sleep in) then this is your inn. It is conveniently located to all the attractions, they do have coffee in the office (although a continental breakfast or coffeemaker in the room would be a plus) The room came equipped with a refrigerator (this was an extremely pleasant surprise). "One Night In Lenox"
Just going to Lenox for one night, so we thought w would try the Lenox. It was clean, comfortable and very reasonable. When we go back towards that area, we will surely book a room with them again. We recommend the Lenox Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Lenox/Lee/Pittsfield area.

"Comfortable stay"
Hotel was very clean and staff friendly. The only issue I had was continuely loosing my wi-fi connection. Other than that, the stay was fine.

"Lenox Inn"
We chose this hotel because of the low rates and were pleasantly surprised. Much nicer than we expected. Clean and quiet. A/C worked well.
"Just a Good Old-style Motel"
Three friends and I met at The Lenox Inn for a few days of cultural immersion in the Pittsfield/Lenox/Stockbridge area. The Lenox Inn harkened back to my youth, traveling in a car with my parents and stopping to spend the night at a motel (motor-hotel). With that in mind, accept the fact that this motel is located on a busy street in an area that is […] shared with other businesses. Since the weather presented rather cool nights, we all took to opening our windows, closing the blackout drapes and running the a/c unit on high fan. This provided cool, fresh air, darkness to sleep past sun-up and ambient noise to tune out the road noise. Now, accept that the building is dated. Then note that the rooms reflect conscientious maintenance with fresh paint and other inprovements to renovate and update the structure, decor and furnishings. Additionally, exceptional effort is made to keep the facility clean, neat, and healthy. An open door allowed us a view of the owners changing a room for a new occupant; everything including the mattress was stripped off the bed and cleaned! The exterior walks and areas are cleaned daily. Cheerful pots of flowers brighten the appearance. Though they have no space to offer a "continental breakfast", they do make a decent pot of coffee that is available daily in the office. On the weekends this expands to include juice and "sweets". Rooms include a mini-fridge and microwaves are available so you can eat whaterver you want. The owner/manager and his family are friendly, helpful, hard-working, and cooperative. They located a large thick cloth for my friends and I to use for a picnic at one of the area arts venues. We enjoyed a couple of lunches at the table on the pool deck. Is it the Waldorf? No, but I enjoyed the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere at the Lenox Inn as much as I enjoyed my stay at the Waldorf earlier this summer. The hotel was adequate though hardly luxurious. It was clean and efforts had been made to make the exterior as attractive as possible. Loved this little gem of a place.......Very responsive staff.. Perfect for easy access to all types of Berkshires activities. Pool was clean and well maintained. Neighborhood is noisy as main road is right out front...but there is lots available on that road including the best healthy food store around just 2 doors down. "Nice motel"
What you would expect. Right off the main road so a fair amount of road noise, but the pool in back was very clean and quite nice, and the owner was very nice and very helpful with information and driving directions as needed.

Room was clean, quiet, safe. I was there for work. Not for fun so I cannot review local entertainment as part of this but that is not their responsibility. The hotel is simple, clean and nicely priced! This was just a stopover on our way to Cape Cod, but we wound up enjoying the area immensely! The mountains and the quaint towns were beautiful!

I am 85 years old and have stayed in many lodgings but this has to be one of the cleanest and spotless rooms I have ever stayed in. The building is old but well kept. The only suggestion I would have is to check the pillows before retiring. The pillows are expensive pillows but are very thick and very hard. The plastic covering of the mattress is annoying under the sheets, and management has seen necessary to remove the air conditioning knob for the coolness setting (easily remedied if you bring your own pliers).
