Kunne vært et praktfult hotell hvis det ble oppjustert og pusset opp! Hadde en litt falmet charme.

Good value for money. Nice building and breakfast, though the building is not very good maintained. Friendly working staff. 5 mins walk to Sliema (shopping, restaurants, boats and buses to the rest of Malta)

Pretty lobby but pretty much everything else is falling apart. Rooms are poor quality and need a major renovation, as do the hallways and tiny lift. Wifi major disappointment - doesn't reach all rooms and egregiously priced. The only wifi we could buy was 1 hour blocks, which cost several euros and only worked in the lobby. Some of the staff need […] an attitude correction, such as the person at the front desk who almost yelled at us for complaining about loud guests that partied in their rooms and hallways for hours between 2am - 4am in the morning for some nights we were there. Hotel very central so obviously parking was a problem. Rooms ok but mattress old and flat. Had to pay again on check-in as receptionist insisted that stay was not paid even though I showed him confirmation of payment in full. Had a cockroach in the room and lots of noise in the morning in the corridor. Were woken up by a cleaner 9am to clean the room, too early! The room standard was very poor, not up to the expectation. Dissapointing

The staff were poorly trained in customer service and they lacked any ability to be helpful. The building is in need of an update, the room was the most awful room we have ever paid to be in.

Very informative desk staff. The breakfast is 'international adequate'. It's fine as fuel. Handy location by a bus stop. Quiet, clean. It supplied all i was looking for at a competitive price. I did not use the bar, pool or terrace facilities but they looked just fine

For the price I paid, a very good deal. Quiet area, but near to everything and just round the corner from the fantastic 'Salisbury Arms'. If things like loose tiles in the corridor and a very small bath are going to ruin your holiday don't go, but otherwise it's a good option in this price bracket.

An old hotel placed in a quiet area in the center of Sliema. 8 min. walk to both Trio It-Torri (rock beach and evening strolling) and Sliema bus terminal (bus X2 from airport). Had a large room, worn, but as rest of the hotel well cleaned. Staiyed 4 nights with partial board; Breakfast OK but nothing extra; Dinner, kitchen should be improved, I get […] better food in the works canteen at home. Tried half a carafe of their in house red wine, can't be recommended, tasted almost as diluted with water. Pool, pool area and garden, clean and nice. Les mer

The Imperial hotel is a wonderful building left over from the British colonial times. While the building itself at first appears a little shabby it is staffed by friendly and helpful people. The rooms are kept clean and comfortable and if you are not worried about staying right on the sea front (which I find to be over rated at the best of times anyway) […] I would certainly recommend the Imperial. An old hotel situated close to the sea and all of the amenities of Sliema Malta's best holiday resort. Breakfast fare was a bit limited but that apart I was very satisfied with the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Recommended especially for the more mature holiday maker.

I found the Imperial Hotel to be a warm & friendly place well located for walking on the Silema Promenade. The bus for Valletta stopped at the front door and cost only a few cents. Plus it was fun to ride the iconic Maltize buses. Since the port is close to the bus station it would be possible to reach the hotel from the ferry terminal by walking to […] bus station and taking bus to Silema if you arrived while buses were running. Great Hotel very clean, well cared for,secluded pool well kept very clean. rooms well serviced daily, ideal location to reach all the Sleima seafront areas,bus outside to connect with Valletta and all the bus conections for the rest of Malta, Good Value, plenty of lounge area to relax, no hesitation in using hotel again.

We did not pay very much and got what we expected. The room was large and clean enough. At one time this was a grand hotel, but it is now just inexpensive. There is a bus stop across the street making the trip to Valetta easy. Coming back was more difficult. We checked out to catch an early flight, and the night clerk had no record of the room being […] paid. He took our credit card number, and we hope no charges show up for the room or other things. Hotel personnel were very helpful. Location is okay, not ideal for being closest to enough good restaurants or central transport. Rooms are a little run down, AC didn't seem liked it worked. Breakfast not included, but better to not eat there, since food was moldy and rotten. Das Imperial ist ein charmantes Gebäude mit reichlich "Patina", mitten in Sliema; die historischen Fliesenbeläge auf den Fluren, die Ritterrüstungen, die geschwungene Eingangstreppe - das hat schon Flair. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war es vorwiegend von Briten belegt, was eine interessante Atmosphäre ergab (Bridgerunde abends in der Bar, ein Feuer im offenen […] Kamin, der Umgangston der Gäste beim Frühstück...) Unser Zimmer war angenehm groß, mit enormer Deckenhöhe und ruhig gelegen. Das Bad - ja mei - da hätte es weniger Patina getan, und die Zimmermöblierung hatte ebenfalls schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Das Hotel bietet ein Dinner an, aber auf Basis der Erfahrungen beim Frühstück (selten so lustloses Personal und so liebloses Essen erlebt) haben wir lieber drauf verzichtet. Man findet wenige Schritte vom Hotel Pubs mit freundlicher Bedienung und ausgezeichnetem Essen, und auch ein Vollsortiments-Supermarkt liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Les mer

Vraiment un hôtel sympa ; les points négatifs : c'est un peu vieillot dans les chambres (mais propre) et le réfectoire (pour le petit dej') est mal éclairé. Le reste est super ! Bien placé, il permet d'aller à pied à Sliema et à St Julian Bay. Comida y bebida en restaurantes a precios muy económicos. Buceo bien, mejor hacer snorkel. Playas de roca, apenas hay playas de arena. Gente no muy amable con los turistas. Taxis muy caros, mejor utilizar el bus.

Abbiamo passato una settimana circa all' Imperial: hotel suggestivo, di gran fascino ma inevitabilmente più "usurato" dal tempo rispetto a strutture più moderne ( e meno attraenti..). Camera pulita e molto spaziosa. In definitiva ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Hotel bénéficiant d'une bonne localisation au coeur de Sliema (toutes liaisons bus) proposant des chambres spacieuses et un côté piscine très agréable. On regrette cependant un petit déjeuner moyen, des locaux insuffisamment entretenus et mis en valeur. De même, on regrette que la piscine ferme en plein été à 18h00.

Hotel storico, molto particolare, dal fascino dei tempi passati. Ottima soluzione, in particolare come alternativa ai giganteschi hotel senza personalità (purtroppo molto diffusi a Malta). Ambiente tranquillo, con buon servizio e buona disponibilità del personale. Ottima la possibilità di disporre di parcheggio privato, ad un costo interessante. Albergo sicuramente di vecchia data, tenuto malamente, personale disponibile e cordiale, ma camere spartane e soprattutto sporche. Prezzo medio, rapporto qualità prezzo scarso. Zona tranquilla, abbastanza vicina alla zona turistica di San Julians. Da non raccomandare.

Chambre spatieuses mais un peu viellottes petit déjeuner britannique,un peu moyen hotel bien situé , à 5 minutes à pieds du Ferry qui vous amène au centre de La Valette. hotel economico, ma decente per chi si accontenta di dormire in un albergo sufficiente. Se cercate l'alta classe, andate su altre strutture, che di contro pagherete molto di più. L'unica cosa che lascia a desiderare è la cucina. Per il resto disponibili e cortesi (a parte un cameriere). Parlano poco italiano ma ci si capisce. Hotel Imperial i Sliema er et dejligt hotel med et flinkt og proffesionelt personale, det ligger centralt for, offentlig transport og gode restauranter, vores værelset var stort og flot, og der var kaffe og kogekande så man kunne få en kop kaffe når man vågnede.

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig mitten in Sliema. In zwei Richtungen kann man in wenigen Minuten zum Meer hinunter laufen. Verhältnismäßig ruhige Lage. Das Hotel hat einen wunderschönen Innenhof und eine tolle doppelte Freitreppe im Foyer. Die vom Hotel vermittelte Massage ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer war einfach eingerichtet.
