This hotel is right off the freeway. We had a king suite overlooking the pool. The suite had a kitchenette with all the trimmings so if you were staying here for more than one night you could cook your own meals. The only downside was that there was no hot tub. This was perfect for our family. Easy to get to local excursions and airport. Out of main strip. No gaming presence in hotel or neighborhood. rooms clean, modern updates, comfortable sitting area, full kitchen. Very nice breakfast with smoothies and fresh sandwiches, fruit, yogurt. Great price for urban market. Pool looked nice for warmer days.

This was really a lovely hotel, but on of the most important parts of our stay was a disappointment...the hot water in the shower was only lukewarm.

I am a very picky person when it comes To hotels but this place was great. Staff were friendly, free breakfast was great..sooo much variety (hot and cold food) Rooms were so modern and super clean. The beds were super comfy, didnt want to get up in the morning. I would definately stay there again.

If you are not in Vegas for the Strip, this is a comfortable, great hotel without all the crowds and hassle of the more crowded areas.

Simple, discrete, quiet Eco aware hotel - everything the hotels on the strip aren't. Location is great for the more up market shopping in and around Summerlin and if like us you are there as well for the amazing sights and outdoor recreation in the Red Rock Canyon. Is a great alternative to the strip for the non gamblers - took us 15 minutes to get […] to the MGM Grand for the show there, we also stayed a few days on the strip but preferred to open the blinds in the morning and see those amazing mountains and not the back lot parking of down town. You will not find a single gambling machine in this hotel, you won't get a jacuzzi in your room or mirrors on the celing, or pink champagne on ice - be warned - but you will get a great nights sleep in excellent beds! Breakfast is likewise simple but great for those who do not like to OD on carbs - free wi-fi, parking is right outside and the great nature of Nevada just a stones throw away. Les mer

We went for an anniversary weekend- the hotel is easy to find. Far enough from the strip you have quiet but close enough to drive and enjoy it. Breakfast was really good. Had lots of choices for everyone. We filled up, went out for the day and didn't eat again until dinner. Shower is awesome- no tub- but can easy fit 2 people. Bed super comfy. Didn't […] use kitchenette but would have if we stayed another night. Pool was warmed up for us which was nice. Only 2 small complaints. One, we were on the freeway side so you could hear just a bit once in awhile (minor compared to strip noise) and two, no hot tub! The hotel is decorated beautifully and smells great! The staff is professional and friendly at check-in. When we noticed that the coffee maker was out of order the second day after we arrived, we called the front desk and a functioning coffee maker was delivered to the room in five minutes. The free breakfast is better than almost all other hotels which offer free breakfast. The equipment in the fitness […] room is quite decent for the space. We like the decor of the room and the bed is very comfortable. The only thing that perhaps can be improved is some additional space for clothing. Despite the distance from the strip, it takes only 10-20 minutes to go to a fine restaurant to have a good dinner. Overall, this is a hotel at which we would love to stay when we go to Las Vegas. We stayed at the Element on our first trip to Las Vegas. From the time we checked in until we left we could not stop raving about every aspect of the hotel. One can easily tell that time and thought has been put into every furnishing, material, and aspect of the hotel. The room had high end finishes and was beautifully decorated. The hotel is eco-friendly […] and the "green" touches were spread throughout the hotel. The complimentary breakfast included a huge spread of healthy, delicious items (yogurt, granola, cereal, smoothies, egg white burritos/ sandwiches, bagels, fruit, fresh juice, and coffee). The staff was so friendly and though we didn't have any requests I can be certain they would have responded with high quality customer service. Our room had a beautiful view of the neighboring mountains. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the Strip, but it is worth every minute of the drive. After leaving Las Vegas to see the Grand Canyon we stayed at the Luxor our last night in Vegas to be close to the airport for our (very) early flight. The Luxor was a hotel with an overall rating of 2/10 in our mind compared to the 10/10 we considered the Element. We regretted spending our last evening at the Luxor and longed to be back at the Element. Should we return to Las Vegas we will DEFINITELY be staying at the Element by Westin and would suggest you do the same! Les mer

Always love coming back to Vegas when I can stay at the Element. Close to a great running/biking trail and 15 minute drive to the Red Rock Canyon. Great breakfasts and although I usually don't partake, a great happy hour snack spread. Well done Element.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for two nights while we were waiting to get keys to our new home. We have a small dog and didn't want to stay on or near the strip. The Element was the perfect location in relation to our new home and work. Summerlin is a great area and this hotel is located a few minutes from Red Rocks Casino and lots of restaurants. […] The room was great and perfect for our needs. The maid staff was friendly and even commented on how cute my Pug is. The daily breakfast was great and the entire staff was friendly. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel that was so quiet that I actually got a full night's sleep. The bed was comfy and the kitchen just right for our needs. I am very picky about cleanliness and this hotel met my standards. Since it is a fairly new hotel, the bathrooms and furnishings are modern and fresh. This is one awesome hotel! Westin has really thought of everything that one wants when staying in Las Vegas. Talk about top-of-the line..... this unique hotel is our all time favorite, as it makes everything so convenient in a very professional and friendly atmosphere.

loved this place. the hotel was very clean, the perks were awesome, best free breakfast buffet EVER and we travel a lot....the staff was very nice they have free bikes you can borrow and go biking up in the canyon ....how awesome is that!!!!!!!!!! we will be back for sure.

great hotel for people who want to cook their own ethnic food. this hotel looks very expensive and it has a normal sized refrigerator. nice plates and pots,glasses. each bed has two cover sheets,one down blanket and another thick but light one on top. breakfast is a lot better than other hotels at this price. it is far away from las vegas( about 15 […] minutes) so we were complaining until we got there but once we saw the room we were very very happy and then after breakfast we were very satisfied. we were able to cook stinky korean food in the room and store kimchi in the fridge.it has a very nice desk and tv. we will always atay at this hotel everytime we go to Vegas. Everyone was so nice! The breakfast was superb! The room was awesome with the kitchenette and full size fridge. The pool had a very nice design, so the little ones, who couldn't swim, could still wade. Totally LOVED this hotel!! Also loved that they provided recycling cans along with garbabe cans. Very nice touch.

The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was my room faced the parking lot and was near the side entrance door. I was able to hear the other guests comings and goings.

Great place if you're in Las Vegas for reasons other than gambling. We went for a wedding at Red Rock and it was perfect. So nice to have a real non-smoking room, not just a room sprayed with chemicals to cover up the smoke smell. Complimentary breakfast was great. Complimentary wi-fi was an added plus. When I first walked into my room, there was a very strong smell of maybe a cleanser and the smell took 2 days to disappear. This comes from a person that can't smell well.

If you can find Discovery Drive, you have a nice experience awaiting you. They personnel were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fine for vegetarians and there were choices of meat free and meat containing sandwiches. It would be nice to have a sugar-free hot cereal but you do have your own kitchenette. Too bad the coffee isn't always hot, although […] it is available 24/7. You can heat it in your microwave. The rooms are clean and are more like a studio apartment. There is plenty of space and WiFi was readily available. Personnel were helpful and friendly. I'm glad I stayed at Element Summerlin and would do so again. Les mer

We were wanting to be within 10 minute walk to the local synnagogue for services. This hotel offered us a clean, spacious room with good breakfast and gave us a later check out time.

This hotel is not convenient to the strip, but it is nicely located if you're more interested in the Summerlin area. The studios are fitted with a dishwasher, good-size refridgerator, range, and dishes. It also has a nice outdoor pool and nice indoor athletic facilities.

This hotel was the host hotel for an event I was attending. A big deal was made of the complimentary breakfast, but when I checked in, I was told the breakfast service started when the event began, so there was no way for me to make breakfast! There doesn't seem to be a whole lot else around the hotel, so I really can't say much for the surrounding […] neighborhood. Those points aside, I really liked the hotel and would stay there again.
