we were in tenerife for 4 days, staying at Hotel Beatriz. We had a terrific stay. The hotel is in a great location, with beautiful views of the beach from all areas. The service was great, the buffet for breakfast and dinner was spectacular. The hallway carpeting needs to be upgraded-but ohter than that the room and accomaodations were good. On Expedia this hotel was listed as a 4 star.....In the US, this hotel would be more like a 2.5 star. Very disappointing compared to what I was expecting. The staff was very friendly and refunded my money for the nights I did not want to continue staying, so that was a bonus. A better fit for college students or someone on a tight budget.

The hotel is fine and very well located. But... we found some "details" that made our stay less pleasing: no minibar in the room, they don't ask for a credit card when checking and you have to make a cash deposit if you want to use the pool or charge a drink at the bar. I think these details could resolve easely. More difficult would be the lack of […] place at the garage. When it is full you have to look for a place in a very complicated traffic city and probably you don't get it and have to leave the car in the road. Beside that, I would recommend the hotel if you want or have to go to Puerto de la Cruz. Les mer

This hotel has all the facilities you would expect from its 4 star status and enjoys a sea front position in a relatively quiet location. The sea view along the coast is quite superb and well worth paying extra for. The restaurant is very good but serves only a buffet menu and guests requiring fine dining will prefer one of the many excellent restaurants […] nearby. There is a pleasant bar with nightly entertainment and all staff are very friendly and professional. The only potential downside is the relatively limited and expensive (€12 per night) parking garage. We chose the hotel because of the spa, but they ask for extra fee to use it. This was not obvious from the information we read at the time of the registration. The rooms are OK, except for the air conditioning, which we were not able to control. It was too warm inside, and we had to open the balcony door during the night, which resulted in hearing the […] street noise. The staff at the desk were helpful most of the time, except for the room allocation. We asked for a high floor, from which we can see the mountain. We did get a room at the 10th floor, which is high, but insufficient to see the mountain, because another building was blocking the view. I asked to change to the 12th floor, but they responded that this was impossible, as this floor was fully occupied. This is unacceptable, as the request was two months ahead. The breakfast is very good. Sometimes it was too crowded, but the staff there was efficient. The bar was nice, as well as the night performance. We did not use the pool. We rented a car, but we could not use the parking, as it was full. There is no parking space available nearby. We had to park at the forbidden area at the front door. Fortunately, we did not receive a ticket. It seems that the hotel management regards this as legitimate. Les mer

Originally booked into the hotel Dania Magec and was moved after one night! Oh what a difference. This hotel was wonderful and following an awful start to our holiday, staying at this hotel turned our trip into a fabulous holiday over the festive period. The Hotel is close to the beach and to the promenade BUT there is a parking issue and the hotel collect 12 Euro each day. SHAME! also the spa is not free they also collect 24 Euro per 2 hours visit in Jacuzzi & Sauna and only 12 Euro For hotel Guests. SHAME!!!. The A/C in this hotels stop working eventually in 3am (the reception told me its a government […] rule... but in las americas where i've been there before didn't hear this and the A/C was open 24/7) -SHAME!!! Clean and comfortable hotel with good facilities adjacent to local beach and close to central areas of restaurants, shops and lido. We arrived 3 hours before check-in time, but no problem - we were given immediate access to our room. Efficient friendly staff. We stayed 4 days mainly to visit Loro Park and the hotel is only 5 mins walk from free Road […] Train to park. Very comfortable chairs in bedroom and quality TV although all channels are Spanish. Evening buffet we thought expensive compared to value in surrounding restaurants but bar snacks and drinks were competitive. We would choose this hotel again. Les mer

Ett bra hotell med utmärkt läge i Puerto. Det negativa vi upplevde var alltför hårda sängar. Vi påtalade detta för personalen som menade att vi skulle be om en extra madrass nästa gång vi besöker hotellet! Städningen kom alldeles för sent - 15.00 på eftermiddagen, mitt i siestan, då vi behövde vila. Middagsbuffén höll inte måttet för ett 4-stjärnigt […] hotell! Nästa gång blir det endast frukost och middagar på bättre restauranger. Detta var vårt första besök på detta hotell. Tidigare har vi bott på Tenerife Playa. Vid jämförelse kan man säja att rummen var bättre på Beatriz men maten bättre på Tenerife Playa. Som sagt vi återkommer men då bara med frukostpension! Les mer

Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen lähellä merta ja silti keskustassa. Kohtuuhintainen autotalli löytyi hotellin alakerrasta, mikä on iso plussa kun muuten parkkipaikat ovat siellä kortilla. Aamupala oli hyvä, joskin mehuvalikoimassa oli toivomisen varaa. Spassa ei tullut käytyä, kun ulkonakin tarkeni oikein hyvin. El hotel está muy bien mantenido, si acaso la limpieza en la habitación algo deficiente. Faltaban algunas sombrillas en la zona de piscina. En cuanto a la ubicación para mi estuvo perfecto porque tiene la playa de Martianez justo enfrente. Vi ger detta hotell bra betyg, eftersom det var rent, helt och väldigt trevlig personal. Underbar underhållning i baren på kvällen, supergoda drinkar och kunnig barpersonal. Mysigt SPA på översta våningarna, men minus för att inomhuspoolen stängdes varje gång det regnade. Kvällsbuffén blev lätt tjatig och ohygienisk med mycket äldre folk, dock trevlig […] personal. Rekommenderar inte middagsbuffen. Poolen var fin och det var inga problem att hitta solstolar. Dock försvinn solen från poolområdet lite efter kl.14 (i november) Överlag var det, det finaste hotellet i PdlC, men tyvärr bara pensionärer. Les mer

So stellt man sich ein Urlaubshotel vor: freundliches Personal, helle großzügige Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet (zu Mittag und Abendessen können wir nichts sagen, da nur frühstück gebucht) - nichts zu beanstanden = hoher Wohlfühlfaktor. Wenn man ganz kleinkariert meckern will, dann lediglich, dass nur spanisches Fernsehen verfügbar war, aber […] wir sind ja nicht zum Fernsehen in den Urlaub geflogen ... Buen hotel en calidad precio y muy buena situación en el paseo de Puerto de la Cruz. Detalles no propios de Hotel de 4 estrellas: Te cobran por la caja fuerte, no te dan toallas en la piscina tienes que solicitarlo en recepción, debes "activar" el crédito antes de consumir nada y cargarlo en la habitación a pesar de que tienen la tarjeta; y lo más extraño: […] Nos cancelaron la tarjeta de entrada en la habitación a las 12 del dia del check out con nuestras cosas dentro!! Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage unmittelbar am Meer und befindet sich in fußläufiger Lage 2 Minuten zur Touristenzone und 10 Minuten zum ruhigeren Ortsbereich. Ein Stellplatz war vielleicht aufgrund unserer Vorbestellung problemlos in der Tiefgarage zu bekommen. Das große Schwimmbecken war immer top gepflegt und gut warm. Die Wirkung der Klimaanlage […] im Zimmer war schwankend. Der Fitnessbereich war zu keiner Zeit klimatisiert und insoweit bei ca. 30°C Raumtemperatur nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Das Eckzimmer Nr. 426 in der 4 Etage bot eine hervorragende Aussicht auf das Meer und den Teide. Allerdings gibt es von den umgebenden Straßen und der nahen Brandung hörbare Geräusche. Das Wlan hat nach Justierung der Routerantenne gut funktioniert. Les mer

Synes, at der mangler et køleskab på værelserne. Eller i det mindste at man kan have en isterningsmaskine på gangen. Selvom hotellet er røgfrit, var vi meget generet af, at flere gæster røg på altanerne således at vi fik røg op på vor altan og ind i værelset, når døren ikke var lukket. I receptionen bekræftede man, at man ikke må ryge på altanerne, […] men der blev ikke gjort noget for at stoppe det. Et skot på altannens væg me rygning forbudt kunne måske hjælpe, for vi tror faktisk, at rygerne har den opfattelse, at det er tillat at ryge på altanerne. Les mer

Il s'agit d'un Hôtel très sympa en bord de mer. Le Spa au dernier étage est très plaisant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la décoration moderne.
