Vi var 4 søsken med barn som skulle på fotballtur til Manchester og dette hotellet passet oss kjempebra. Store fine rom og bra frokost ! Kan anbefales
"Flott hotell i Manchester - sentralt"
Relativt nytt hotell med god beliggenhet sentralt i Manchester! Hyggelig betjening og bra renhold. 3 min til "trikken" og 5 min. til Arndale og Printworks. Absolutt verd å reise tilbake til. Eneste minus var kanskje at frokosten var litt for typisk engelsk. Egg, tomatbønner og bacon, yoghurt og frukt, men ingen kontinentale alternativer.

"Lekkert hotell med perfekt beliggenhet"
Vi var to familier på kombinert fotball- og shoppingtur. Hotellfrokost i England er som regel både dyr og kjedelig, så vi valgte uten frokost. Da var det kjekt med to ulike frokostrestauranter i umiddelbar nærhet. Greit med en bar med salonger slik at man kan sitte sammen og prate hvis man er på hotellet en kveld. God mat i baren.

Hadde fire flotte dager i Manchester på dette hotellet. Rommene er kort sagt meget bra, med skikkelige bad og god seng. Beliggenheten er også bra, med kort avstand ned til manchester sentrum. Veldig mye for pengene. Fint rom og gode sender, rent og pent. Gangavstand til det meste, og nære tog og trikk. Bor gjerne der igjen hvis vi skal tilbake.

Vi var et reisefølge på tre venner, som bodde her i 2 netter i forbindelse med fotballkamp på Old Trafford. Betjeningen var hyggelig og effektiv, og vi fikk et rom med to doble senger. Standarden var god, og rommet var meget bra sett i forhold til prisen. Det kunne med fordel vært noe mer gulvplass, da det var knapt med plass til bagasjen vår. Frokosten […] var billig og god, og beliggenheten ok. En er nær sentrum og butikker, dog noe lenger unna fotballdestinasjoner som f.eks. Old Trafford. Dit er det 15-20 min i taxi. Hotellet kan så absolutt anbefales. Alt var helt topp. Hotellet lå meget sentralt i forhold til både shopping, uteliv og resatauranter. Skal vi til Manchester kommer vi garantert til å vende tilbake hit.

Fantastisk bra hotell og god service. Uten tvil den beste sengen jeg noen gang har ligget i på et hottell. Ligger midt i sentrum med masse puber og nattklubber i nærheten.

Et flott hotell som en kunne slappe av på etter mange timer med gåeing for å se seg rundt. Gode senger å ligge i . Og det komm ikke støy utenfra og inn på rommet. Ett hotell som absolutt er på høyde av det beste en kan få.

Beliggenheten med gangavstand til det absolutte sentrum av Manchester(10 min) såvel som til the populære Norther Quarter(3 minutter) var perfekt. Det samme gjelder hotellet og de store luftige hotellrommene som var smakfult innredet med King size seng og flotte moderne bad med separat dusjhjørne og badekar. For meg var dette en fulltreffer. "Meget bra og sentralt hotell"
Generelt et meget bra hotell. Det er et nytt hotell med svært bra standard på rommene og selve bygningen er relativt ny. Vil absolutt anbefale dette om man ønsker et hotell av god standard som har gode rom, er rent og har god beliggenhet. Det er ca. 5 minutter å gå til Market Street/Arndal/Triangle/Selfridges som alle er kjempebra for shoppign. Restaurantgaten […] Deansgate ligger ca. 10 minutter gange unna, hvor man kan finne bra restaruranter, klubber, barer, puber, etc. God beliggenhet til togstasjon, og Manchester Picadilly ligger ca. 15 minutter gange fra hotellet. Fantastic hotel, very clean and stylish was very pleased with stay I shall be visiting again, would recommend to all suits familys/ couples etc. all in all everything you could want and more for great price

only disappointment was car parking considering its a 4 star hotel maybe they could work out with ncp carparks a consessionary rate it cost me £15.20 to park which i felt was a little over the top but have to say very nice hotel otherwise

"Tiny hotel crap service"
1. had a family room with 2 double beds and the room was TINY!!! 2. The toilet flush button was behind the seat - had to pur seat down every time flushing - rubbish design for the sink basin as well 3. breakfast staff - this lady (east european i think) was very rude when i asked for tea and generally unwelcoming table setters.

Extremely pleasent stay at this hotel, from hassle free quick check-in, excellent room standard with all ameneties you could want, even sky sports on the tv. Modern decor and the most comfortable of beds! Location is excellent, 2mins walk to arndale shopping centre, 2mins walk to printworks, 5mins walk to MEN Arena! Looking forward to stay again!

Stayed at the crown plaza on the 28th october 2011 .had a fabolous stay very nice hotel , and extremley helpfull staff especially the concesage he was very helpful in finding us alternative accomadation as they were fulled booked when we asked for a extra night stay will deffo stay again .

Wonderful hotel ~ so easy to walk to city centre and the NCP car parking was so convenient. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom with wonderfully fluffy towels. Friendly and efficient staff! My only gripe would be breakfast time/room which when full was a little over-crowded with people having the squeeze between your table and your neighbour's. Given the […] good range of breakfast, would have liked a pot of tea and not the communal pump action teapot which squirted out very weak tea. "Room not ready"
My only complaint was having spent 4.5hrs on the motorway to arrive at the hotel at 3pm to be told room was not available for another hour. Totally unacceptable for how much the room cost.

Booked this hotel for proximity to MEN arena as we were going to a concert. Just a few minutes walk to MEN arena as well as the Arndale Mall, the big wheel and plenty restaurants nearby. Close to Shudehill interchange for buses & trams. Overall a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very modern, clean, with pleasant staff and the room was very comfortable. […] We booked a twin room (mother & daughter) and there was 2 double beds. Very nice modern bathroom & good toiletries. Separate bath & shower. Booked this hotel for an event at the MEN - ideal location as only a short walk away. The staff on arrival were very helpful - valet parking was great and convenient. The room was perfect and the beds were so comfortable. The only negative aspect was one member of staff behind the bar at night was rather abrupt about producing your room wallet, which […] caused some disappointment towards the end of the night. Myself and a group of friends recently spent the weekend in Manchester and stayed here at the Crowne Plaza.From check-in to check-out everything was fantastic from the staff to the rooms to the location!We all said that we'd definately stay here again if we had the chance!

"Crown plaza Manchester : Prefer not to stay again"
I was visiting Manchester for work last week, booked a night stay in the crown plaza, the room is nice and tidy . But my nightmare started after I had a shower, I set on the chair and within second I set down I got bitten by something three time on my foot. I was worried that there were bugs on the carpet. And it might got on my clothes and suitcase. […] I compliant to a manager the next morning, he said he will investigate the room and get back to me. I raised the concern about there might be bugs on my clothes as I have put some of them on the floor and asked if the hotel can offer dry clean service, he said it's too late for dry cleaning service after 9 am. Cut the long story short, it wasn't until I asked if the hotel will paid for the dry cleaning if I get them done at my next hotel, he wasn't going to do anything. He even said i can put my clothes in the wash it will be fine. If I am not living with a small baby I won't kick a fuss. In the end the hotel agree to paid for my dry cleaning but only for three items. Also the breakfast was poor, scramble eggs looks grey, instead of offering me a pot of tea, I got a mug with a tea bag in it. As a four stars hotel, I just think they can definetly do better. Les mer

"Lovely relaxing break in City hotel"
The Crowne Plaza is a very good standard 4 star hotel. This one was fairly new and the design of the rooms and the main public areas is very funky. Location overall was pretty good with the Sudhill Tram station just down from th hotel. Lots of cafes and resturants near by aswell as the Printworks facility and Arndale Shopping complex. I thought the […] hotel staff where very helpful and friendly and as we stayed 4 nights the house keeper was very good to leave us products and towels when we requested no room service due to a late night out. I would say book this hotel as it was excellent value for money and it felt like a bit of luxury even though the price was very reasonable. Was very happy with the location and standard of the room we booked, my only niggle is that there is no discount available for the neighbouring NCP car park ( i did ask at reception!) which works out quite expensive when leaving the car for 24 hours or more. Otherwise would highly recommend.
This hotel for excellent however we paid a high daily rate and for the money we paid I would expect nothing less.
