Dette hotellet var helt glimrende. Jeg var der i 5 dager i forbindelse med jobb og som turist. Service, internett tilgangen, maten ++ var utsøkt. Dette hotellet er en innertier på alle måter. Det er et must neste gang du drar til Dehli og India.

For 3. gang valgte vi radisson blu som en oasis før den lange turen hjem. Herlig avslutning på en herlig India ferie.

This little hotel has a cozy atmosphere. It's run by an elderly man who has full control so here everything is well sorted out. The hotel itself is an architectural interesting building, not like a block concisting of cells, like many Delhi-hotels tend to be. We had a luxury(?) room, it was huge and airy, clean and with a comfortable bed. It was at the back and therefore quiet. The rooftop terrace was nice and they have got a pretty rich menu. The neighbourhood is not the "prettiest", but on the other hand it gives you a sense of the more authentic India. I liked it, but if it's your first time to India you'll not get a soft start.. Be ware of the information desk close to the entrance; here they don't give you objective information but everything is about selling you tours. All in all; I wouldn't mind staying at Hari Piorko on my next trip to Delhi!

Karol Bagh ligger 2 km fra New Delhi jernbanestasjon. Dette var tidligere et boligområdet, men er i dag et kommersielt sentrum med ett av de eldste handleområdene i denne livlige storbyen. En spasertur gjennom markedet Karol Bagh kan bli et kjært minne for mange besøkende. Dette området er fullt av aktivitet lenger ut på kveldene enn i de fleste sentrale bydeler. Restauranter, designerbutikker, gullsmedbutikker og moderne kjøpesentre finnes alle innenfor en radius på 0,5 km.

"Avoid this hotel"
The hotel staff was not helpful at all. This hotel is situated very far from the Station. We had to leave for Agra early the next morning and needed to go to the station. We had told them earlier in the day and they had said that they would provide us the transportation. When we came back from sight seeing that day, and asked them about it, they said […] that we would need to make our own arrangements. At that hour in the night we did not have a choice but to depend on them. They provided us a transportation for over Rs 800 that is 4 times it would have cost us to go by taxi to get to the station! But as it was so late in the night, we were not sure how we could arrange a taxi and they did not want to help us.We did not have a choice and they knew that!. The attitude is really what matters and that was to fleece us. Unfortunately, we also had the reservation in the same hotel on our return from Agra and we could not cancel it as it was within the 2 days for cancellation.The hotel location is in a narrow alley and very inaccesible. We had asked for an Air conditioned room. Even though they had AC in the room, it was off through the day. They said that there was no power and they were running on the generator so we did not have the AC. The AC was ONLY available through the night. It was extremely hot. "Royal Hotel rubbish"
The hotel staff did not send us any transport to collect us. I had paid for transfers and extremely dissappointed. We waited for 2hours and we were continously phoning the hotel; the staff did not have the decentcy to answer the phone. "The rip off started at the airport"
We booked this because they offered complimentary airport pick up. It turns out that this only valid for the international terminal, we were charged 500 IR for the run into town. (Hotels.com gave us a full refund for this) The hotel is down a dirty unlit alley not very welcoming. It's only a short walk to the market on Karol Bagh which is worth a visit. There […] is a good resturant across the alley which does not serve alchohol. The room was large and the a/c worked well. The shower sort of worked, you had to run around the cubical to get wet. We did not take breakfast in the hotel due to an early departure to catch a train (400 IR) cab ride arranged by the hotel. We just wanted to get away from there. Would I stay there again.....no way Would I recommend it anyone....make your own mind up from my report. There are better hotels at this price in better locations. Les merVirkelige gjesteanmeldelser
