Kellah Farm B&B - Haltwhistle

The Farm is in a remote and quiet location. It was the time when sheep lamb and there many small lambs in the farm. Despite having probably a lot to do in the farm, we felt really welcome, enjoyed a cup of tea with owner in the vast lounge. we had a one night stay at the Kellagh 6th Sept, i took a little bit of adventure finding it but was worth it. Nestled in it's own farm away from any bustle and beautiful scenery we arrived to a very warm welcome by the owner an dher daughter. We were offered a pot of tea in the lounge on arrival and was informed of all the local sights and eating places. […] The accomodation is modern with beautiful en suites and everything spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely and made to order. The only minor point and I am really picking hairs with this is you are asked what time you want the next days breakfast whilst still eating your first breakfast . We heard guests being asked this which would annoy us to be honest. I would certainly return though for a relaxing break. You will need a car though . Lots of Roman sights and lovely walks around the area. Les mer

Lovely, peaceful, remote location. Very comfortable rooms with everything you could want. The owners are very friendly, cheerful & accommodating - whatever you want & whenever it's no problem. Breakfast is excellent - well-cooked and served. We will definitely go back.

really nice night away from the city, room comfy, bathroom excellent. breakfast in the morning a real treat. bit off the beaten track but that's exactly what we were looking for!

We had a lovely break away from the rat race,very clean and nice rooms.location is remote but not far from A69.Take the left fork from the farm towards carlisle but then head towards penrith over hartside pass the whole route i will never forget.Hexham and vindolanda on a sunny day was not to be missed.Lesley n katie made shaw we had everything right,what […] a breakfast with local produce.we will return again . Very quiet location. Excellent service - tea & biscuits offered on arrival, superb breakfast choice. We broke down & they arranged local guy to come out. Highly recommended

Really lovely Farm Stay. Lesley was super helpful and produced excellent breakfasts with masses of choices. Lovely well equipped bedroom with a really modern shower room and even a separate bathroom next door. Magnificent lounge with loadsd of books DVDs and settees and a brilliant gas fire. They were in the middle of lambing but this did not interfere […] with our stay but added to it and the lambs were wonderful - a definite bonus. Les mer
