Vi var alle 11 gutta svært fornøyd. Anbefales hvis man ønsker å bo billig, men sentrumsnært og relativt komfortabelt. God plass, bra møbler, godt utrustet kjøkken og gode senger. Rent og pent nok i massevis. Den trådløse ruter'en i rommet vårt fikk vi ikke kontakt med, men ellers var alt over forventning.

Super leilighet for et kort opphold i storbyen. God pris og grei standar. Vi var fem jenter på weekendtur. Fire jenter fordelt på de to soverommene og den siste på sovesofaen i stua. Fungerte helt topp! Matvarebutikk nedi gata + et bakeri rett ved, slik at vi hadde ferskt bakverk til frokosten hver dag. Hovedbusstasjonen også rett ved slik at det lett […] lot seg gjøre å bruke kollektivtransport. Noe vi gjorde da vi skulle på shopping på kjøpesenteret Kringlan. Skulle gjerne hatt en radio eller flere TV-kanaler, da det eneste som var på TV var en engelsktalende kristenkanal. Greit med litt bakgrunnsstøy når man ordner seg for kvelden. Tråløst internettilgang fungerte fint. Bytte av håndduker ble gjort en gang på tre dager. Helt i orden for oss, spes til den prisen. Anbefales til alle som er på tur, spes. barnefamilier. Gratis parkering var det også. Supert for oss som leide bil. Noe vi anbefaler å gjøre. Tipp topp opphold! Les mer

Meget flott tur til Island og Reykjavik fra torsdag til søndag. Blue Lagoon bare et "must" på torsdag (på tur inn til byen). Rusling, sightseeing mm i byen på fredag (flott vær, sol) før landskamp i fotball (tap). Rundtur "Golden circle" i sol på lørdag, i buss med guide (fin tur). All reise/sightseeing og billetter til Blue Lagoon var bestilt hos busselskap […] på forhånd (drop og pick-up ved hotellet), fungerte bra. Einholt ligger relativt rolig og greitt til vis a vis Laugavegur, med butikk og taxi rett i nærheten (beliggenhet 3,5 av 5). Du bør gidde å gå litt, hvis ikke, er det billig å kjøre taxi. Les mer

We (I my wife and our daughter 4 months) lived at this hotel for two days. We only have positive memories from the hotel. Two really nice, helpful girls "stuepike" who worked there (Anne and another one) were absolutely helpful. Tthere is no people in the reception, you just need to call the manager and fixes everything. Enjoy!

Romsleg leilegheit, godt utstyrt kjøkken og sentral beliggenheit. Kort avstand til Buss-stasjon, supermarked, Shopping-gater og Resturantar. Prolemet var tett sluk på badet når vi annkom leilegheita. Dette blei raskt orda når vi tok kontakt via telefon i den ubemanna-resepsjonen. Familien på 5 kosa seg på Island i frå Torsdag til Søndag i lag med Gode […] venner som hadde leilegheit i samme apartment :-) Les mer

Vi besøkte Einholt nå i vinterferien. Leiligheten var stor, velutstyrt og perfekt til vårt bruk (familie på 4). Det var alltid parkering utenfor. I vår leilighet var det liten tilgang til det trådløse nettverket, men ellers var det god valuta for pengene. Anbefales!

Great room - allowed to check in early and think we were upgraded to very nice room across the street. Plenty of room, modern and so warm. Good location.

The Good: 1. when we arrived, we learned that the family studio we'd rented was overbooked, so we got upgraded to a 2-bedroom spacious apartment in their second building across the street and it had a nice view of the harbour from the balcony on the 4th (highly recommend that folks rent apartments in this 2nd building even though it may be more expensive). 2. […] The apartment building we were in was overall clean, had an elevator, and laundry on the ground floor. 2. Overall, the place was clean and tidy, with fresh towels provided every other day. 3. Good location; very close to the main shopping street and grocery store and this hotel is included on the list of apartments that Reykjavik excursions services (i.e. pick-up for your day tours)---otherwise, the walk to BSI Bus Terminal is a good 20 min walk (ignore Google's estimated time of 5 min). Not-so Good 1. Our Fridge was out of order when we'd arrived (Monday). After notifying staff (Monday), we got a replacement on Wednesday----thankfully it was cold outside and so we were able to store our food on the balcony----it was a bit inconvenient. 2. Only 1 key was provided, which made it difficult----it would have been easier if staff are able to make and provide guest with 2 room keys instead of only providing 1. 3. Most of the TV channels were "Locked"---so if the weather wasn't so good, there really wasn't anything to watch on their wall mounted TV. Les mer

When staying at Einholt we first stayed in a bachelor room, but after three days upgraded to the one bedroom. For the small price increase it made a world of difference. Our apartment was incredible and fully loaded with a couch, television, balcony, 2 separate eating areas (one in the kitchen, the other by the floor to ceiling windows with the amazing […] view). Not one problem was had at all in the entirety of the stay and will definitely return if ever back in Iceland. Dorfi is amazing and can solve anything. Cheap place, very comfortable. The staff was nice but bear in mind this is not an hotel, and they've tried to automotive many things to keep your prices down. Highly recommendable.

Pro: - the room was functional, the staff was friendly Con: - there was a lot of noise outside our room (202), a combination of thoughtless guests and absent staff - there were a missing iron and a coffee maker in our room - the blinds in our room were so dirty that we didn't want to touch them

Great, cheap place that's one or two notches above a hostel. If you're going to be out and about in the city, this is a perfect place to come back to and relax at the end of a long day. Clean, big living room and kitchen, balcony with a view of the city and water. Overall a very positive experience.

We had an overall great experience at Einholt Apartments. These private apartments are ideal if you are interested in a bit extra space, want to spend some time in the apartment, want to store food, cook while in Reykjavik. The apartments are newer and located within private buildings and are within a 10 min walk from downtown. We had a party of 3 and […] were originally provided a small studio for our first night. After speaking with management, we were graciously upgraded to a 1 bdrm (by Christine, who is great!) for the second night. I was very pleased with the attention the staff paid to my requests and would recommend this to other tourists. We also stayed at Bolholt Apartments (which are operated by the same owner) upon our arrival - these apartments are about a block or two further away from downtown and were developed earlier. Overall, if I went back to Reykjavik, I would choose to live in an apartment/guesthouse over a standard hotel again. Les mer

These apartments were within walking distance of a store, bakery, and most of the sights we wanted to see in Reykjavik, and offered us the convenience of cooking for ourselves. We had to wait about an hour to get into our room when we first checked in around 3 pm, because it hadn't been cleaned yet. The hallways were also a little dirty because of some […] maintenance they were doing; but the rooms were very clean and comfortable, with nice balconies with a view over the bay (we were in the building that has the larger apartments). The kitchens had most of what we needed save for lids for the cooking pots, which were on the small side. Laundry room was a low-ceilinged room down some steep stairs; great to have access to free laundry facilities. Les mer

The Einhold Apartments are unfortunately adjacent to an uninspiring gap site. However The value offered was outstanding and we were very satisfied with our visit.

Great location! The rooms need more than just blinds due to perpetual sunlight in the summer. Trust me, it's not the Ritz, but if you're looking for a base that is just for sleeping, then go for it. It's a good value, but don't expect a red carpet.

This was a good budget option for a basic apartment. They don't have front desk staff (keeps costs down) but there is a phone to speak with someone at all times. They have wi-fi but signal is weak in the room I was staying and often had to go down the hall to use the wi-fi. Note that some of the rooms are in buildings across the street or nearby. Good, basic accommodation just at the edge of the town centre. Quite busy and people arriving at all times. No permanent reception staff and it could be the case that someone arriving very early/late might not get access. When we arrived there was a conflict and we were moved to another location about 4 blocks away to the Downtown Reykjavik Apts. They were very nice and everything worked out.

This is an appartment and if you want the freedom and ease of having your own base Einholt is great. We had a very spacious one bedroom appartment, nice bathroom and fully appointed kitchen. Warm and quiet. Good location though it in quite a rundown arty kind of area - which we liked and easily walk able to the city centre and the sea front. Getting […] in was a bit of a confusion but very helpful response from the owner who sorted everything efficiently. We were in the building across the street which seemed abit newer. We'd definitely use these apartments again and are planning our next trip to Iceland - really captivated by the country. Les mer

We had a very large 2 bedroom apartment that was clean and comfortable and only a short stroll into town. The only downside was one night the apartment next door had a very loud party.

Good location - plenty of space in a 2 bed apartment for 4 adults. Easy free parking outside. We stayed 5 nights and it was quiet until our last night which was a Friday, good job we didn't have an early flight as very loud party kept us awake til gone 2am but understand Friday nights are noisy everywhere in Rejkyavik. Even though the apartments are not staffed like most hotels, the service was great. The guy at the front desk/lobby was very friendly. We paid for a one bedroom apartment, but got a free upgrade to a two bedroom apt in the building across the street (Brauhalt) that had a great view of the sea and mountains from both bedrooms. It was wonderful having […] a full kitchen and livingroom to lounge in. It was really great staying in an apt versus a traditional hotel. The extra space makes a huge difference when you're staying with more than one other person. The location was in walking distance to the main shopping/restaurant street. The hallway lights getting into our room were broken so we had to use the key in the dark. We told management about it the morning after check-in but it was still broken when we checked out 4 days later. When we arrived at the hotel there weren't any staff available and no key was left out for us. We had to call staff and then wait for them to arrive […] to let us in. Stayed 6 nights in Einholt. What was positive: good location, kitchen in the room, free parking space. What was not so positive: wifi really slow; tv with only 2 local channels was no use at all (fortunately there's plenty to do in Reykjavik so you don't need tv :); our room was below street level so had to keep blinds down all the time so that people […] walking on the street could not see in; bed quite hard; parking lot was not cleared from snow (at least 30cm of more snow fell down during our stay). I would recommend this place but mainly since the price is reasonable. I read really good reviews on this hotel before our trip, so expectations were high, but reality did not exactly meet them. Maybe there are better rooms available, and naturally during summer there's no problem with snow on the parking space :) Les mer

The apartments are very well maintained and very spacious with full working kitchens and good views of the city. However, I did not like the self-service feature of the hotel. There is no one at the check in desk and you have to call "someone" on a lobby phone for information. You are not able to check in early but thre is a place to store your luggage, […] once you call and get the code. Also, our apartment was not in the main building but down the street - we were left a map that bore no resemblance to the actual street layout and had to call several times to find it even though it was right around the corner. The apartments are great if you can deal with having no one available for check-in/out questions (and once you finally find the apartment). Les mer

This guesthouse offered great value for money. It's well-located - just a 5 minute walk to Laugavegur (Reykjavik's main shopping street). The guesthouse had everything I was looking for. In addition to its location, it offered fast wireless internet, had an en-suite bathroom, and a kitchenette. There were supermarkets and banks close by. All of these […] features afforded me a great deal of independence while I was in Reykjavik. All the main tour operators are familar with this guesthouse and picked me up at the front door. The reception area had maps and a free local telephone that I used to speak with tour operators. A good taxi company is right around the corner so when I ordered one, it arrived in seconds! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They helped me arrange a tour, as well as bus and taxi travel and even got the bus company to accept a ticket that I purchased with a different bus operator and refund me the difference in price! If you are considering staying in a guesthouse/apartment, consider staying here! Les mer

We had six people in our party, which included my wife and I and our two kids ages 3 and 5 and my wife's parents. We arrived early in the morning and asked if we could store some luggage until it was time to check in so he provided a locked room for us. When we came back in the afternoon to check in, however, we found that our room was a studio apartment […] that would sleep four with two twin beds and a futon. We were supposed to have a two bedroom apartment that would sleep six. I called the manager but he said they didn't have anything else. So we were just going to make the best of it we could and I found two twin mattresses in the basement and some linen so I made a makeshift bed for the kids in the middle of the already cramped floor. As soon as I got it set up the manager arrived and apologized for the mistake and told us he had a room set up for us at a different location (the Downtown Reykjavik Apartments). It was only a block away and worked perfectly. It was not part of the Stay Apartments chain so I think he actually called a friend of his got us a room there. We also stayed there a week later when we returned to Reykjavik and this time everything was setup correctly. The rooms are nicely furnished, clean and a perfect location. I really appreciated how the manager went out of his way to fix the situation for us. Les mer

Huoneiston taso ei vastannut netin superlaajakulmakuvia. Pesuhuoneessa oli lievä homeen haju. Onneksi hotelli oli hiljaisen kadun varrella, sillä ohiajavan kulkuneuvon ääni kuului sisälle todella hyvin.
