"Just off I-75"
I would rate this hotel as the best overnight hotel i have ever stayed in. Very Very comfortable beds. Great value.
"Good stay - wireless not good"
my son had a gymnastics meet in the convention center and Mainstay seemed the closest as all downtown hotels were sold out or very expensive. the overall experience is v good. rooms are spacious and clean even with two queen beds. the only thing that annoyed me is the wireless connection. it could be something specific to my room location within the […] hotel, but if you plan to stay there and you are depending on wireless connection then you need to reconsider. "GREAT STAY"
We visited for Homecoming 2011 and had 2 rooms with kitchenttes and were VERY pleased! Beds were pillow soft. The kitchenette was clean and functional. The room was very clean and was nice to have a balcony. The only downside was the small bathroom but it was clean and had the curved shower rod for more space. "Excellent location!"
We were in town for the UT game vs SC. The hotel was super convienent location to getting to the stadium and downtown. We had asked for a non smoking room, but after our late check in we realized we had been given a smoking room. The night manager changed our room right away. We didnt partake in breakfast, but there is a starbucks within walking distance. […] Everyone was friendly, even to those of us who were cheering for SC. Go Gamecocks! Les mer
"Clean, nice & friendly"
Very nice stay, clean room, was surprised to get a full size refrigerator & small kitchen. Nice bathroom. All was great. Only thing they could add is to make the bathroom fan a different switch you could turn it off so it wasn't running everytime you turn on the bathroom light while you're getting ready cause you can't hear anything in there: TV, music, […] trying to talk, etc. Les mer

"mainstay suites Knoxille, merchants dr"
Just a few miles from the stadium, downtown, and UT, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, a grocery store, a pharmacy, etc. Rooms are comfy and spacious, the staff was helpful. We were just up for the game, but could've happily stayed longer. The next time we go, we will stay there.

The rooom was clean, we loved the kitchenette, comfortable bed (except for the tiny pillows). We had a nice stay. We would use again.

I went there for a Tennessee Vols football game. All other basic room hotels in the area were overpriced. This room was a very clean. I will stay there again.

Unattractive sitting area. The coach was old, dirty and unattractive. In fact we did not sit in the sitting area. Colorful pictures are neede to lighten such a dark area. The bathroom had no functioning light over the sink. The matter was reported , however, nothing was done.
"Excellent accommodations!"
My room could not have been better suited to my needs. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The location was perfect, close to a wide variety of restaurants and extremely convenient to Neyland Stadium. Would definitely stay here again.
"The Mainstay in Knoxville - Nice but not if"
you are traveling with a dog. They advertise themselves as pet friendly - but when you get there, you are informed that you will be staying in a smoking room, as that is where they put people with pets. However, we are not smokers, so it was pretty miserable. The hallway reeked, as did the room and everytime the heater kicked on, we got a fresh blast […] of smoky smelling air. Doesn't seem fair, since you pay a fee for the pet - I assume for cleaning - but they don't clean the cigarette smell out................. Les mer
I was very impressed with the breakfast selection, scrambled eggs, waffles, juice, cereal, yogurt, doughnuts, breakfast burritos, toast, and much more. The hotel very clean and had a large screen TV, very large room with full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable; I would recommend this hotel when visiting the Knoxville area.
If youare traveling with pets and are not a smoker. Do not stay here. The pet rooms are available on the smoking floor only; which is on the 5th floor. The smell of cigarettes overwhelmed us the moment the elevator doors open. It was horrible. We received a phone call at 3:00 am telling us that they had a complaint about our dogs barking. Our 4 lb. […] yorkies were sound asleep. We heard the culprit a couple of rooms down when we left at 4:30 am. Les mer

"Great hotel and room"
Our room was in great condition. Everything seemed new and was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area has several gas stations and restaurants so you don't have to go very far.
"Comfortable and friendly"
The bed was fantastic! I have stayed in 5 star hotels and the comfort was as good if not better. The room was spotless, with one exception, there was a dirty towel left on a hook on the back of the door. The front desk immediately came with extra towels and the toothbrush that we forgot to pack. Very pleasant experience.
