Holiday Inn Express London-Watford Junction - Watford

Et svært godt hotell, spesielt mtp prisen. Dette er "value for money". Frokosten er helt ok og servicen blandt de fleste av personalet god. Bra beliggenhet ift Harry Potter, buss fra Watford Junction. Toget tar bare 20 minutter inn til London. Det eneste vi savnet var en overmadrass på sengen, litt i hardeste laget.

Hotellet er fint å se på og de som arbeider der er veldig hjelpsomme. + 2 min gangen unna tog stasjon (20 min inn til london. går ca hvert 10-15 min) + Billig + Rent og pent + Hjelpsom betjening + fint bad (+ får gratis barber høvel osv om du har glemt) - Ingen treningsrom - Frokosten var ok MEN de har bare syltetøy og egg+bacon for å ha på brødet […] ..... Kunne ha vært mye bedre - ingen parkering (ikke noe problem for oss siden vi ikke hadde bil) - Dårlig AC - Kan være irriterende med å ha en tog stasjon så nære. Jeg og min kjæreste var der i 7 netter så vi fikk se hotellet over lang tid. Vi likte oss godt. Jeg var spesielt misfornøyd med at AC fungeret sikkerlig dårlig. Den greide kun å få rommet ned på 20 grader, noe som var litt varmt for meg. Badet var kjempe fint og utførelsen av hotellet var bra. Frokosten tar ikke noe sikte på å være "sunn" og det er ikke lagt opp til noen form for trening noe jeg synes var synd for det hadde gjort så mye for meg. Et helt ok hotell, nytt, rent og pent. Det ligger litt langt unna London men tar bare 20 minutter med London Midland togene fra Watford Junction til Euston. Også veldig praktisk at togstasjonen var rett ved siden av hotellet. Var deilig å komme til et litt mindre og hyggelig sted. Frokosten var ok men litt lite utvalg og de passet ikke alltid på at […] alt var som det skulle. Men litt upraktisk med bare en stol på ett tomannsrom. For å få internett måtte man betale 10 GBP for et helt døgn. Internett via tv var tregt og problematisk. Jeg synes at vi fikk mye for pengene og var veldig fornøyd. Les mer

We stayed here last week and couldn't find any faults. We were greeted by lovely reception staff who allowed us to check in early as our room was ready. They also printed off directions for us. Being so close to a railway your obviously going to have a certain amount of noise but it didn't bother us too much. I don't have any real issues other than the fire evacuation at 10pm. I normally wouldn't have any issue at all however due to the few number if guests plus the fact the staff took pictures of us stood outside, no fire engine arrived and there was no fire...I suspect it was a drill. Unimpressed....

Over priced for what it gives. Rooms are very basic but a nice comfy bed. Breakfast is very basic with no bacon and not very good quality. This hotel is good for a 1 night stay with no expectations, stop and go.

A great example of a Holiday Inn Express. Smart, clean and good sized rooms. The main restaurants were a £5 can drive away and worth it as it is quite a long walk with kids in tow when your not sure how safe an area is. Breakfast was fine, a good selection minus any bacon but again good value. we stayed for 3 nights to have a day in london and a day at the harry potter studio tour. we couldnt have had a better base. watford junction station was just behind the hotel with regular trains to euston which only took twenty minutes and the studio tour was only a ten minute drive away. it was walking distance into watford town centre for restaurants […] etc.the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend staying there.next time we come to london we would use this hotel again. Male Receptionist very nice & professional the location of our room was great especially as from reading other reviews rang ahead and asked for a room front facing away from train station noise . We ordered takeaway and sat downstairs in a friendly atmosphere Our room was stuffy with 4 sharing and when we put on the air conditioning too noisy to sleep […] so we had to sleep with window open , bit noisy from traffic . very basic facilities but all you need for a pit stop , we enjoyed our breakfast plenty to eat husband disappointed there was no bacon . Overall very good, a little noisy at times due to close proximity of railway station and food alittle pricy but location excellent for harry Potter studios which was purpose of our stay. Staff very couteous and hotel clean & modern. Recommend anyone to stay.

Very convenient for Watford junction train station not even 5 minute walk away. Difficult for parking, but friendly staff and very helpful. We used it for a stop over after visiting Warner bros studios, which was a 15 min drive away.

We used this hotel because it was so close to the Harry Potter studios. We had a 10 year old and a baby with us. The room was large, clean and functional, not luxurious but for the price you wouldn't expect that. The breakfast was brilliant, couldn't have asked for more. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights in the hotel in March. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean, towels replaced daily. Hotel was close to town center and railway station, also close to Wembley and The Making of Harry Potter which we had booked to visit. The only problem was the sofa bed. We had booked a family room and it is OK for smaller […] children but my children were both 15 and for them it was not sufficient, the mattress is far to thin and the support bars dug into your back. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast was ok but could have been better. The location was very good and close to Watford Junction train station. I would return.

I was put off by being told to empty the car as it wasn't safe in the car park. However we did not have any problems at all.

Hotel was okay, positioned right next to Watford Junction which has regular train to Euston station. Also very convenient for Warner Bros studios as a bus departs from Watford Junction each hour direct at 2 pounds return. Vickage road is also close by. Rooms were a little tight for 2 adults and 2 kids, Sofa bed was not comfortable. No mini bar or fridge […] in room. Breakfast was good. Les mer

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the one brief night I stayed. It was modern, clean, light and spacious. Service was good and location great as 2 mins walk from Watford Junction train station, which has trains to london euston in 20 mins! only negative would be that check out is at 11am and not 12 noon, but cant complain !

The staff were very helpful, letting us into the room early when we would otherwise have had to sit in the lobby. The room was clean and tidy, as was the rest of the hotel. The receptionist was slow to retrieve our booking. I gave her my full name and she didn't check properly till her colleague came over and help her. She kept making mistake eg the 2 rooms that we booked were fully paid for but she didn't know and the same colleague had to walk over to her again and pointed that out to her after checking the system. Ideal for an overnight stay. Accommodation spotless with plenty of choice for breakfast. Might benefit from better transport links with Luton airport. We arrived in the early evening and had to get three buses to reach the hotel.

Stayed in many hotels but never experienced one like this where all meals were taken in the foyer!! Would like to have sat in a restaurant area and with more choice for hot breakfast. This is the reason for suggesting this hotel is better suited for business clients rather than for holiday visitors like myself. A quick meal and away. The hotel was easy to find and had adequate parking. We were advised that there was a complimentary breakfast which I have to say was great value. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable.

The hotel it self was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Kind of annoying that you have to pay for WIFI in your room. They offer a package that includes internet and movies and everything else on the TV for a good deal. There is free WIFI in the lobby (I didn't not use it). There are not that many places to eat in the surround […] neighbourhood, I went to a pizza shop around the corner and it was horrible. Overall, its good. I stayed here only for one night. Well received and i was explained about all the facilities (although i knew all this from previous stay). Gave details about car parking and wifi facilities without me asking about this. Only one disappointment is the treatment received at the breakfast time(unusual compared to my previous holiday […] inn stay). The hotel is very close to the train station and the studio tour transport link however it does rather feel like it is only accessible through back lanes you might not otherwise choose to walk along.
