very nice, no complaints

Second floor rooms only have sheer curtains and there was a street light right outside my window. I was up as soon as the sun came up. I personally think that the price doesn't match the room. I felt like I had no privacy.

I expected this hotel was very close to Yosemittee. but over 2 hours to visitors center. i will stay closer hote to Yosemittee if i go to Yosemittee. If not..everything is good hotel. price is good...

Our stay was for two nights. The room we were given was huge -- high ceilings and lots of floor space. I'm pretty sure it was designed for a handicapped person. Was disappointed that they only provide refrigerators in the suites, especially with all the extra floor space available in the room. Breakfast was a cut above most places, but could have used […] more fresh fruit offerings. Heavy on carbs -- but that's breakfast, isn't it?! The bed was very comfortable, and the choice of soft or firm pillow (the difference is embroidered on the pillowcase) is a nice touch. The only other minor thing is that we put our "Do Not DIsturb" sign on the door -- went to leave our room around 9:30 only to find a sheet of paper shoved under the door to let us know that housekeeping had "missed" our room because of the sign. If we wanted fresh towels or our wastebasket emptied, we could call before 2:30. I'm sorry -- we paid fairly for the room and had to be out by 10:00 in order for housekeeping to make one driveby with the cart?? Silly. Les mer

Beautiful place but there were only sheers on the windows. It made it difficult to sleep with the parking lot light and then sun shining in.

The hotel seemed nearly new, thus very clearn, light and airy. Well equipped with an outdoor pool and free computer in the business center. Close to US 99. The only drawback we found was that the hotel was 5-10 minutes from good restaurants.. Free breakfast was fine..

We booked this hotel so we could visit Yosemite. It was much cheaper than many of the hotels near the park. It was about 1.5 hours to the park so it was an ideal place for us to stay a couple of nights.

Nice hotel. Room satandard Good. Friendly personnel. We liked staying there - though only for one night. - A good holiday Inn Express hotel!

This Holiday Inn Express was wonderfull. Surrounding neighborhood was not the best , but the hotel was super. The check in clerk assured me the parking lot was safe , and we didn't have a single issue.

Visit was generally excellent but the lounge chairs by the pool were a safety concern. They were all ripped on one side; if one sat on them they would fall through to the ground.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting relatives in Merced and going to Yosemite National Park. It was aprox. 105 degrees all 3 days in Merced but the air conditioning at the hotel worked perfectly. Everythinng was clean, and the staff we talked to were very helpful and friendly. This place is a pretty good deal. We had the king bed Suite. The room was large, comfortable and clean. We were close the elavator and the ice machine, but it was still quiet enough. The breakfast was nice for a hotel in this price range. We stayed there because everything within 40 miles of Yosemite NP were all booked. It was a good choice. Other then not being able to close the blinds completely to avoid a parking lot light keeping me awake and the bathroom door not being lockable, the room was exceptionally clean and all amenities were perfect. Breakfast was sumptuous.

The hotel room and breakfast area was fine. The location was not good. There was road construction nearby which made it difficult to get to the hotel. It was also in a not too desirable part of town.

Staff were the friendliest I have experienced. Room servicing including change of bedding daily. The complimentary breakfasts in the morning were outstanding.

It's a nice place to stay for Yosemite trip.

Friendly service, everything went fine. Breakfasts were good and the free newspaper was great. Merced is a great place to visit.

Stayed here on way back from Yosimite and after the basic accomodation in the park this place was a god send. Family suite was huge, clean and very comfortable; breakfast was a very good buffet, although I can imagine in the main season the room gets very full. Very satisfied with my stay. I was there with a group of people for the Tahitian competition at the Merced Fair Grounds. The hotel location was very close to the fair grounds which was great. The room was clean and very nice. The staff was very accommodating as well. conveniently located right off of the freeway. friendly staff, clean rooms. expanded continental breakfast saves time. non-suite rooms do not have a fridge though.

My stay was great. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Also, the amenities were great. I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend.

Very comfortable beds. Very clean room and good continental breakfast.

When we checked in the gave us a room. When we got to the room the room was Dirty and the bed was messy. I think there was someone in the bathroom. When I went to let the Lady know at the desk she apologized but did not offer a upgrade or anything. Then When I checked my credit card statement. They had double charged me. I never received and apology […] for that and it took over 5 days to be returned to my account. My Daughter just started college there and i will never stay at that hotel again. the hampton inn was awesome and I will givethem my business from now on. Les mer

I highly recommend this hotel. From the moment we checked-in to check-out everything was as we expected. This hotel was extremely clean. It smelled soooo good all through out. The beds were amazing, i couldn't believe how comfy they were and how well we all slept. They were very accomodating, if we needed anything they would make sure to get it for […] us. The rooms were very nice and updated they are modern and super clean. Not to mention they were extrememly BIG, we got the queen suite which was so roomy and BIG. They had continental breakfast, lots of it...and left everything out until 10am. I honestly give this hotel two thumbs up! There were 7 of us, we were all very pleased! When going back to MERCED we will make sure to book @ Holiday Inn Express again. :) Les mer

lovely friendly staff, Super clean new hotel. Bed was nice and comfy with clean sheets and towels, ...they did serve good breakfast

There was a light curtain that let light in, without a blackout curtain. Rather strange that I haven't seen anything like it before. They advertise free wifi, but it doesn't work. Couldn't get it to connect on multiple devices.

Étape entre Yosemite et San francisco, hotel agréable, chambres confortables, personnel sympa, il n'y a que la ville bof, mais ce n'était qu'une étape alors, c'était très bien.

サンフランシスコに住んでいて、2回目のヨセミテドライブでした。 5月末と今回共にやはり公園内のホテルは満室、近郊で探してこちらのホテルを予約しました。 理由は、地図で見るとサンフランシスコからヨセミテまで遠回りな感じがしますが、旦那さんの運転負担が軽くできるルートと途中泊と言うコトでマーセッドになりました。前回、とてもキレイで明るく、安心して泊まれたという印象が強く二人とも気に入っていたので、今回2泊でも構いませんでした。（お値段も予算内でしたし。） バスルームのアメニティも十分で、“足りない物はフロントへ”というメッセージがバスルームにあったり、シャワーカーテンも浴槽の中と外側になるように2重になっていて工夫されていることも気に入りました。 今回、直前の予約でなんとか空いていた車いすの方 […] 対応の部屋を取ったのですが、シャワーヘッドを動かすことができるのは、便利だなと感じました。他の手すりの位置やバスボードなど勉強になりました。 朝食のビュッフェも、良いですね。前回は、ワッフルオーブンがあって、今回はパンケーキオーブンでした。フレーク以外にもパンの種類もあった方だと思いますし、個人的には、ヨーグルトがあったのも嬉しかったです！ ホテルの徒歩圏には、メキシカンのビュッフェレストラン、アメリカ料理（になると思います）レストラン、ファーストフード店やカフェ、ガスステーションがありました。 車で１～2分のところに、スーパーマーケットやドラッグストアもあって、不便ではない場所でした。（営業時間は確認必要でした・・・） 今後もし、他の街に行くとしても、まずホリデイインの部屋から検索すると思います。 Les mer

Dette hotel overraskede os meget med hensyn til standard i forhold til prisen. Vi ankom meget trætte til dette hotel som det første stop på vores rundtur i Californien - og havde en god nats søvn i en dejlig ren og lækker seng. Rigtig fin morgenmads buffet og generelt gode forhold. Vi brugte bare dette som springbræt til Yosemite naturparken, så vi […] fik ikke set området omkring Merced Les mer

Hôtel avec un bon confort standard et un petit déjeuner complet en libre-service. Pas de restauration sur place pour déjeuner ou dîner.

hotel bello, comodo, pulito, non troppo distante dal centro, che peraltro è squallidino. merced non merita più di una breve sosta di una notte per andare allo yosemite park!
