Hyggelig enkelt hotell med en beliggenhet som passet oss fint. Enkel standard og litt lite komfort om været skulle vært dårlig. Heldigvis for oss var været flott så vi var ute mesteparten av tiden. Men alt vi trengte var der, og vertskapet var bare koselige, og hjelpsomme. Bor gjerne der igjen. Prisen var utrolig behagelig. Takk . Roma var flott.

hadde et utmerket opphold. De som eier/driver hotellet var kjempehyggelig og hjelpsom. Men det var dårlig belysning på rommet, vi ønsket oss en stol til, og ikke minst - kunne lage oss en kopp kaffe/te på rommet. Kjøleskapet var dårlig.

Perfekt beliggenhet, i gåavstand til det aller meste :-) Passet godt for to venninner på tur! Rommet var veldig lite, men det var rent og pent og tok størrelsen igjen på sjarmen. Hotellverten var full av entusiasme og service manglet det ikke i det hele tatt. Det største fortrinnet med hotellet er nærheten til de fleste viktigste severdighetene i Roma. Rommet holdt beskjeden standard, men mtp prisen var vi storfornøyd! A/C-en virket!

The room we had was fine, and very clean, but there was a weird smell in the hall. This wasn't a problem until the last night, when the smell came into our room as well, it was awful and smelled like sewage. We hardly slept at all, and opening the window only helped a little. We discovered the smell was coming from the room next to ours (furthest down […] the hall). The morning after we had to call the owners because there was nobody there to check us out, even though this was planned beforehand. So we waited about 20min before we could get out of there, it seemed like forever when the whole house smelled of sewage! I'm never going back and would only recommend this to people with no sense of smell. Les mer

Greit hotell, (eller heller pensjonat). Hyggelig betjening, rent og pent rom som virket nylig oppusset. Dette ligger helt sentralt i Roma med utsikt mot Colosseum og Forum. Ny aircondition. Close to Colosseum and other ancient Rome and metro just around the corner to bring you wherever. Staff is nice and helpful. Airport pickup service EUR 40.-, not bad (Taxi = EUR 50.-, train = EUR 14.-) Some VERY small rooms and some nicer ones. My travelmate and I stayed in the smallest (I hope) the first night, but were offered a much larger tripple […] the next night, and for rest of our stay -4 nights. If I go back to Rome sometime I probably will stay another place, or maybe not. Overall ok . Btw. the breakfast is terrible. Eat somewhere else. The restaurants in same street are all(!) tourist traps. But the parallell roads are good. Enjoy Les mer

The price you pay its very cheap considering the location, Walking distance from lots of historical places. The place is not fancy, but in Rome you will probably use the room just to sleep since there is too much to do. The hostal is on the third floor, and there is not an elevator, so you will exercise every day if you look at it from an optimist point […] of view. Les mer

THis is a quaint hotel that is actually a group of rooms within an apartment building which houses residents of Rome. The rooms are grouped together within an apartment space. The room is small but adequate. room had two twin beds which were pushed together to form a larger bed. The beds were fine although they were low to the ground compared to modern […] beds. The view from the room looked out into a court yard that keeps out the street noise. it was incredibly peaceful and quiet in spite of its prime location down the street from the coliseum. The manager/staff was very nice and accommodating. The only draw back was an odor from the bathroom that may have been from the piping or water supply. The bathroom is clean although the shower is on the small size, which isn't a huge problem. The rooms are located on the second floor so the windows can be kept open at all times which keeps the room cool and refreshing. There is also a small refrigerator in the room for keeping beverages cold. In all, the room is a good value relative to its prime location and cleanliness Les mer

Pros - excellent location, near Via Cavour metro stop and Termini Station, clean, comfortable bed, nice room temperature (in late March), quiet hotel, no road noise, helpful staff who speak and understand English, cheap wi-fi (2 euro for your entire stay) available in your room. Cons - it's a very busy area because it's so close to everything, lots […] of stairs and no elevators, a little tight in the shower stall but space is at a premium here. We spent a fantastic week staying at San Daniele which is located at the very center of everything in the hip Monti area of Rome. The hosts Andrea and Celeste were very helpful and the room was facing a quiet alley, which guaranteed a good night's sleep. The amenities were well maintained and the small fridge in the room came very handy. The metro stop […] was just around the corner, which made exploring the city easy. An excellent stay altogether! Great location, it's walking distance from the Coliseum about 3-5 minutes away. The bus/train station is about 15-20 minute walk. The metro/subway is also 3 minute walk. It doesn't include breakfast but there are several restaurants around there plus downstairs there is a splendid restaurant for dinner which has great pastas. It's called "Trattoria […] Valentino" and the owner is friends with Andrea the owner of San Daniele. Andrea's wife is a very nice lady. She let me borrow a scale to weigh my luggage and thanks to her, I didn't get overcharged at the airport. The elevator is so old fashion from the dinosaur era but it works in case u have big luggage. Overall, I think this hotel works if you are looking for something at low price and somewhere to sleep comfortable. I just wouldn't recommend it for honeymooners, it's not so romantic unless u don't care and wish to save some money. It's perfect for a group of friends or families. You also have access to the kitchen. You can buy your pop or juices and stored them in their fridge. They also have a microwave that u can use. And the location couldn't be better. Les mer

This is a Jewel in Rome! I traveled to Rome with my 7 year old daughter for a 3 day break. We wanted somewhere central to all attractions and would not "break the bank". So I was so lucky to pick this accomadation! Our room was a comfortable size with a large modern bathroom. A lift was available and we used it each day. Location is great. Hop on and off bus is about 4 blocks away. Management is very personable and goes out of there way for you. Much noise in Rome but we were not disturbed during the night. We would definitely stay with them again.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location worked well for walking from the train and to many, many sites. The room did get a lot of street noise and was bare bones, but doable. All in all, I would recommend it.

Andrae and Celeste were very kind and hospitable. They booked all of our tours and Andrae drove us to the airport when my daughter and I stayed at their hotel for 5 days. This hotel was unlike any other hotel I've ever stayed at! The man that owns the hotel is the sweetest guy- his wife and daughter help run the hotel so it is truly a family owned property. We had a great room with a VERY nice air conditioning!!! Thank god for that because it was pretty hot outside. The room was like a little apartment- with no kitchen. […] It was so nice :) Also, the location couldn't have been any better. It was right next to the places we wanted to explore and a few really great cafes. I would recommend staying here if you want a comfortable, clean place to stay! Andrea and Celeste were excellent with us, very attentive and friendly! But the room is very noisy (close to a major street). The bathroom had a terrible smell of sewage, especially on the second day, and the shower box is so tight you can barely raise your arms to scrub your head. we had a good experience weather was brilliant 25 degress first week of may. the in charge on our arrival was helpful and accomodating. we inform her in advance of our arrival which was after check-in time 6:00pm.our room was next to the small kitchen where we can make tea and coffee (we provide our own tea and coffee). i can't comment about breakfast […] because we opted out. grocery shop/chinese restaurant/post box is just downtairs. the hotel is in the center of practically what u need, shops, restaurants, souvenir shops etc. coloseo is 5 minutes walk. we can see it from our hotel window. celes the lady that attended to us was helpful to all our inquiry and book a taxi for us and even waited even if the taxi was 15 minutes late. every customer has different experience with their stay in a hotel be it food or management. i am only speaking about my personal experience with the hotel. at the time we were there we had a good experience although the hot water runs out quick because it's in a tank if i am not wrong. you have to wait till it warms up again. i guess it's not a combi boiler that the hot water is continous supply. it seems the hot water last only for 2 people having shower so i have to shower in d evening where less people use it. that's the only negative experience. there's a tiny fridge in our room where we can stock milk, juice and drink which is very handy. to sum it up we had a good experience for the duration of our stay. Easy to get to the Roman ruins...just a few short blocks away. Clean room with a very small shower. If you book a room here, look for the address and not a large sign to let you know you are here. The hotel is off of a shared courtyard which you need to ring the hotel from the sidewalk to get initial access before you get your own key. We had a great […] time here. Les mer

Other than street noise, which we knew in advance, this was a perfect place for our 2 night stay in Rome. We were so tired each night that we slept through most of the noise. On honeymoon stayed here for 4 night. What a great choice of a place. comfortable, reasonable but most of all the staff are such nice and warm people. Are really interested in their guests having the best stay possible. I would strongly recommend this place to stay at in Rome. Hotellet ägs av ett ungt par som var extremt vänliga och serviceinriktade. De erbjöd transport till och ifrån flygplatsen till ett förmånligt pris vilket gjorde att vi slapp leta oss fram i stan. Rummet var enkelt men rent. Kyl på rummet ett plus. Mataffär i porten bredvid. Mycket bra läge. Skulle boka hotellet igen.

Hotellet er et lille bitte hotel drevet af et ægtepar og det ene sæt bedsteforældre. Pænt og ordentligt værelse med hvad der skal være uden på nogen måde at være prangende. Rent og ordentligt. Lige i centrum, 2 min. gang fra Forum Romanum. Det kan vi varmt anbefale. Hvis/når vi skal til Rom igen booker vi på samme hotel:-)

Hotelli oli todella siisti ja idyllinen! Huoneessa kaikki tarvittava ja plussana ihana Roomalainen maisema. Palvelu toimi erinomaisesti ja sijainti ei olisi voinut olla parempi, mm. Colosseum aivan kulman takana. Suosittelen lämmöllä ja voisin koska tahansa itse palata uudelleen!

Location was really convenient. As it says it's a town house not really a hotel. You get a simple room with a small bathroom which is totally ok if you are there just to rest/sleep. Noise from the street is loud because the windows are really old. You definily ear plugs. I recommend if you don't need fancy bed or other facilities and central location […] important. This is a great place where you get value for your money and a really central location. However, if you want a "tradtional" hotel with 24 hour service you should look somewhere else since this is more of a place where you get your keys and take care of yourself. With that said, I must also say that the couple who run this place are really service minded […] and they try to help out with everything from picking you up at the airport to discussing the sights and map with you. They are great! I would definately go back! The room is really clean. You might hear your neighbours clearly though through the door. Les mer

Allra bästa någonsin! Vilket läge, vilken service och till ett mycket lågt pris. Februari utgör bästa månaden att besöka Rom; kallt, soligt och inte för många turister. Rusta Dig med handskar, kappa eller rock, scarf och rejäla skor. Inte att förglömma klänning eller kavaj. Ni kommer inte att bli besvikna: inte minst om Ni bor på detta underbara pe […] nsionat. Personalen är mycket tillmötesgående och trevlig, men finns inte alltid tillgänglig. Inga rum ligger mot starkt trafikerade gator. Små rum. Kvaliten på sängarna kunde vara bättre, men rent, snyggt och ändamålsenligt. Gångavstånd till alla sevärdheter och många trevliga restauranger i närområdet. Nära 2 metrostationer. Mycket prisvärt.

Nous sommes partis en amoureux pour un week-end à ROME et la chambre d'hôte San Daniele a été tout simplement idéale pour notre séjour. Céleste et Andréa se sont pliés en quatre pour rendre notre week-end des plus agréable. Ils sont charmants. La chambre était très propre et confortable. L'hôtel est idéalement situé pour visiter Rome (nous avons presque […] tout fait à pied..., par ailleurs, le métro n'est qu'à quelques centaines de mètres - CAVOUR-). Accueil très chaleureux. Gérants serviables et avenants. Hotel idéalement situé. Seul regret la petite salle d'eau et ne pas prendre de douche le matin entre 7h et 10h sous peine de n'avoir que de l'eau froide. La chambre est chauffée mais avec la hauteur de plafond il y fait un peu frais. Mais l'accueil chaleureux nous fait oublié cela. Hotel à recommander […] vivement! Les mer

O hotel cumpriu exatamente o que prometeu. Não se trata de um hotel de luxo, mas as condições do mesmo são muito boas, sobretudo no que se refere ao atendimento. As pessoas que trabalham no hotel fizeram com que nos sentíssemos em casa! Foram extremamente gentis e educadas! O hotel fica muito bem localizado e dele é possível ir a quase todos os pontos […] a pé. Fica próximo a uma estação de metrô. Na rua do hotel, há restaurantes e supermercado. Pagamos dois euros (preço muito justo) para utilizar a Internet durante toda a hospedagem. A Internet era muito boa! O único problema era o chuveiro, que não esquentava imediatamente após alguém tomar banho. Les mer

Værelse i top. Desværre lå det ud til sidegade så der var en del støj. Personalet utroligt hjælpsomme og venlige. Mulighed for at lave en kop kaffe/te og ovn. Hvis vi kommer til Rom igen så er det bestemt det første sted vi vil prøve at få overnatning.
