The room is small and no toilet and shower in the room. The corridor is narrow and the stairs are difficult to go up. It is too noisy. I couldn't stay at the hotel so i left and booked another hotel in that evening.

Vårt opphold ved Torenzicht hotell var flott. Rom, bad og toalett var alltid rent. De serverer engelsk frokost og det utgjorde en god start på dagen. Hotellet ligger i red light district, og på kveldstid kunne man godt høre at det var liv i gatene, dette forstyrret imidlertid ikke vår nattesøvn. Worst place I've ever been, and I've been all over the world...

I stayed on that hotel for 2 nights. Everything is great, location, hotel condition, cleaning, hotels staffs are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located just in the center of red light district. Can not sleep on early night because of some noise came from the street, but should not complaint about it , because of it's in the crowded area, but it's […] ok, after 2 A.M, everything go quiet until morning 11 A.M. Hotel is with the bar, that bar is good. and hotel assist breakfast, it's so good breakfast, and the breakfast is free of charges. It's is the best breakfast that I ever experience assist from the hotels. I like to stay there again if I visit to Amsterdam next time. Les mer

Hvis du vil være i RLD hele tiden, sove på dagen, ikke skal ha besøk på hotellrommet, gir f i utseende og klientellet, er hotellet OK, ellers ubrukelig. Direkte møkkete, bråk hele natten. Spylukt i gangene etter en gjeng med engelske drittunger. Jeg hadde besøk av en venninne midt på dagen og ble nektet å ta med dama inn på hotellet. Right in the Red Light District. If you are a people watcher this is a great location. Cool bar on the main floor, rooms upstairs. Stairs are tricky, almost straight up and the 2nd and 3rd floors are narrow spiral stairs. Part of an excellent experience.

Okay if your a single man but not at all for couples due to location

Despite location in the Red Light District of Amsterdam, I don't consider the hotel was worth what their advertised rate was given condition. Definitely only a 1 star hotel with no lift (and apparently no chance of one as building would not take it) and steep stairs. It is probably an ideal location for a back packer or traveller with minimal luggage. Breakfast […] is included in the price, with a reasonable selection, so that was probably the main positive. Plastic cups for glasses in the room, basin was chipped and cracked, mirror over the basin but powerpoint to have a shave was near the door with no mirror nearby!! Room also needed a repaint. Beware : property is not a place to go if you want to sleep and you have large suitcases, particularly if you are on the 3rd floor; seek a room away from the side lane (redlight windows and a popular thoroughfare); and ignore the website instruction - website showed the price per night with total to be paid on check-out. We arrived and they expected money on arrival which I had not budgetted for. Fortunately the person doing reception when we arrived, allowed it given I had pinted the confirmation page which gave this information. Ideally not a hotel for a family or couple to visit and one I would only stay at again if I was desperate - i.e. no other accommodation available. Les mer

Hotel is located directly in the red light district, very fun area but also a bit of a distance from the city centre (not walking distance). Maybe 5-10 min cab ride. Hotel was comfortable and had all the basics one would need. If you are picky and need a lot to be comfortable then maybe it's not the best option, but personally, I was very comfortable […] and would stay there again. Stairs are VERY Narrow - if you are claustrophobic then you may encounter problems. Can also be difficult to walk up three flights of stairs if you've been drinking / smoking too much. Les mer

The hotel was cheap and cheerful which is what I wanted. It would be nice fpr a tv in the room and maybe as bit of a warm welcome from the hotel staff. My room overlooked three red light windows, it made interesting viewing.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Very clean and an awesome location close to everything. The shared bathrooms and showers are very clean. The included breakfast is great. Only complaint was the room was super hot at night. Had to open the windows and let the noise in from the street. It's an acceptable tradeoff to everything else in the […] hotel. This hotel is perfectly located from a touristy point of view. Friendly staff, sumptuous breakfast, Ok rooms for the price you pay and a good bar downstairs. Only issue I had was very narrow stairs that make carrying heavy luggage a nightmare. Other than that a great place for the price you pay if you are on a budget.

Stayed here for one night with my partner. The hotel is clearly aimed at the stag/hen do market. The room consisted nothing more than single beds dotted around the room, a sink and a fridge. Toilets and showers are shared. The staff were friendly and the bar is open 24h. The noise from the street (!) does carry into the rooms to some extent, but this […] is unlikely to bother you if you've been sedated by the various distractions that Amstredam has to offer. The accommodation is by no means luxurious, but this is reflected in the price: you get what you pay for. This was the cheapest hotel I could find that was so central and it's right in the centre of the Red Light District; 5-10min walk from Amsterdam Centraal railway station. Les mer

Nada esta bien en este hotel. Por lo pronto es un hotel que para recepcionarte te obliga a entrar a un bar. De ahi en mas lo que quieras. Habiendo reservado la habitacion con mas de un mes de anticipacion, me dieron una habitacion por escalera, en el cuarto piso (ULTIMO). La habitacion solo permitia caminar por el centro. ya que a ambos lados las aguas […] del techo caian abruptamente. Por escalera seria un lujo decir, ya que se sube por una escalera caracol para una persona de ancho, con escalones empinados y girando. UN VERDADERO PELIGRO, para subir con el equipaje, que por supuesto nadie subio por nosotros. La limpieza no existe. Si bien sabiamos que existia la posibilidad del bano compartido, nunca supusimos que seria escaleras abajo. El hotel esta ubicado en plena zona roja. y las personas que se alojan en el son clientes de los coffi shop y de las chicas que ofrecen sexo. Deberian venderlo de esa manera y de sea forma nadie se sorprenderia. Lo unico mas o menos pasable fue el desayuno, pero solo lo sirven de 9 a 10 de la manana. Anuncian WI FI sin cargo, pero ese servicio solo se ofrece en el bar del hotel. Seria bueno que Hotels, con quien contrato desde hace mucho tiempo revise este hotel y resuelva sacarlo de su oferta. Отель Torenzicht в Амстердаме очень удобно расположен, рядом с вокзалом и центральной площадью Dam, в центре квартала Красных фонарей. Ну на этом плюсы и заканчиваются. Мы с женой самостоятельно отдыхали в Амстердаме, потом в Париже и Орлеане. Отель в Амстердаме был в полтора раза дороже, чем в Париже и в 2 - чем в Орлеане, а по качеству намного хуже. […] Просто недалеко от центра Амстердама я ничего подходящего за приемлемую для нас цену больше не нашел, а кататься из пригорода не хотелось. Номер очень тесный, санузел общий на этаже (2 туалета и 2 душа примерно на 8 номеров). Но самое ужасное - отсутствие лифта и жуткая узкая винтовая лестница. Номер был на 3 этаже, а были еще и выше! Я проклял все, когда тащил чемодан 25 кг., который еле пролезал на поворотах. Недаром в Амстердаме на старых домах стоят стрелы с блоками для подъема тяжелых грузов в дома! Ну, правда, еще один плюс, в отличии от Франции был очень хороший завтрак, нормальный шведский стол. Les mer

Edullinen, vaatimaton hotelli keskellä punaisten lyhtyjen aluetta keskellä Amsterdamia. Huone vaatimaton, sänky ok ja siisti, lavuaari huoneessa, wc ja suihku käytävällä. Ovessa hyvä lukko. Vilkkaan naiskauppakadun äänet kuuluivat yöllä huoneeseen. Ystävällinen hlökunta. Aamiainen ok, hyvin perustasoa. Turvallisen tuntuinen! Edullinen majoitus keskellä […] kaupunkia. Hotellet har en prima placering midt i Red Light District. Personalet er utroligt hjælpsomme, og morgenmaden er meget meget fin til prisen. Kan klart anbefales.
