Bally's Studio Suite Silom - Bangkok

With the exception of the doorman, who was attentive and willing, staff were (at best) functional, Reception attended reluctantly to guests' needs. Room was dark and dank. There were no windows. Hotel name and location were unknown to taxi drivers even when shown a card (in Thai) from the hotel. Breakfast was adequate but guests had to find their own […] way around, had go and ask for coffee ie no service. Small boutique hotel near the BTS station. Request for rooms that is quiet & it will be the perfect place. Good rates for what you're paying & it comes with free breakfast. Not a 5-star breakfast but should be good enough for most people.

Disappointed that a Disco nearby and the blast till wee hours can be a nightmare especially the needed rest from the long shopping day. Nice reasonably priced clean hotel..Sound proofing needed badly. Not recommended for those looking for a quite sleep or recharging.

I have been a frequent guest at Ballys because of the location and quality of service. Even with the dark rooms and noise at night from the neighboring disco the location could not be beat. This visit I was disappointed with the quality of service. I had to bring my own bags in and out. Of the 4 nights I stayed there on two occasions my room was not […] cleaned while I was out and I had to request someone come clean it before the staff left at 5pm. I was a bit frustrated that this occurred two days in a row but the staff seemed indifferent (could be something lost in translation). Nevertheless, I would recommend it for someone wanting to stay in the Silom area and be very close to transport (Skytrain and Subway) and shopping (Central Silom Complex and many, many eateries). The nighttime sidewalks shopping is plentiful Definitely recommended for gay travelers as you are at the center of international gay life in Bangkok at Ballys. Les mer

This is the 2nd time i'm staying in.. excellent location near to BTS, Eating place,drinking hole and club.. I love the customer service. They are so helpful and always have smile on the face. The room is big and comfortable. For sure i will book the same hotel again.

super noisy at night and the i am told that the pubs and restaurants will close at 3am, fortunately, we can sleep as we were too tired

Good location and near the skytrain

Location, Location, Location..... 1) Hotel is located in the middle of a busy road leading to highways -- high recommend that a map in Thai along with Hotel Phone number are readily available for the taxi driver. Taxi ride from BKK airport rund between B$170-$200, metered taxi. HOWEVER, the taxi driver will demand for B$300 or whichever rate they feel […] like it. If you're looking for a "zen" like hotel with quite surroundings, this hotel is NOT for you. If you want to step out from your hotel and get right down to strolling for food, market, drinks without taxis, then this is it. This area is more upbeat than Sukhumvit, if you're wondering. This area is located in the older part of Silom, so all the shop fronts are not brand/shiny new although I must say they do a great job in keeping the streets clean while the shops are maintained [and not abondoned!] 2) Next to the hotel is a Starbucks [in case needed]; across the street is the MRT [Station: Silom] -- totally convenient to get to the rest of BKK -- super clean, convenient with a fixed rate] 3) Along the hotel, day and night, are the usual outdoor vendors for miles selling souvenirs to food. 15 minutes of walking take you to the famous "PatPong" night market where you can find souvenirs, imitations, bars etc 4) The rooms: Beds are comfortable, with good pillows and blankets. A/C works well. Bathroom is clean -- If I were to compare, it would be a comparison of a new Motel 6 and Holiday Inn standards. 5) There are many shops along the street for SPAs, massages...all costs are pretty much the same within the area. when you like shopping. this place close to night markert as Patpong, nightlife, food, massage, restaurant until midnight, a go go boy/girl, bar, karaoke, fasfood like kentucky, mc donald and burgerking is nextdoor

Everything about the hotel is good: location to main road, shops, eateries, but for the location next to a club/bar at night which plays loud thumping music. The walls are not extremely sound proof and I was affect by it in the night at bed time at 12 midnight.

Close to BTS Sala Daeng, and MRT Silom, easy to go all the shopping and entertainment places. Will stay here again.

The check in was wonderful becos i requested for a quiet room but as my booking was for a big bed, they accomodated me by letting me view 3 rooms. I finally settled on my request of a quiet room but had a twin bed instead of one, but the staffs put the beds together which made me feel so much at ease. Overall I would recommend this hotel. The hotel is located in the Silom district. It isn't much to look at from the outside, but the room was comfortable, attractive and clean. There is a disco next door so it can be noisy, but we had no problem sleeping. We got the breakfast option and thought it was a good deal. The food was adequate. We would definitely stay there again.

Pelo conforto do hotel, eu diria que ele se encaixa em um 3 estrelas, e não 4 como diz. Esperava algo mais luxuoso. Porém é muito limpo e bem decorado. O café da manhã deixa a desejar, diria que seria de um hotel 2 estrelas. O nosso quarto era um pouco barulhento, há uma discoteca próxima que funciona até as 3 horas da madrugada. Se precisar há tampões […] de ouvido para vender na farmácia próxima. Está muito bem localizado, em uma avenida com várias lojas, restaurantes para todos os gostos e bolsos, casas de Thai Massage e com uma feira noturna em frente. 위치는 살라댕역 1분 거리 정도로 좋음.. 시설은 한국의 깔끔한 모텔 수준 정도임.. 다만, 객실내에 슬리퍼 없음.. 치약, 칫솔, 면도기 없음.. 무료 무선 인터넷 접속이 가능하다고 하였으나, 접속 안됨.. 금연룸은 창문이 없어서 전반적으로 답답한 느낌이고, 흡연 가능룸은 창문은 있으나, 바로 옆에 클럽들이 있어서 다소 시끄러운편임.. 위의 단점들을 제외하면 전반적으로 가격 대비하여 만족스러운 편임.

部屋はビジネスホテルを少し広くした程度だが室内金庫有、室内インターネット無料、セキュリティー面はノーチェックに近くジョイナーFは当然ない、スタッフはみな愛想が良くとてもフレンドリーだが適当とも言える。 立地はサラディーン駅すぐ近くだがタクシー運転手は解らない場合が多くバーガーキングの向かって右隣がホテル入り口となる。 朝食は毎日同じ様なメニューでまず期待できない。近辺に屋台や２４時間営業の喫茶店もあり特にルンピニ公園北側にある屋台ラーメンは雰囲気も味もタイ気分を味わえ朝の散歩がてらにいかがか。 夜はタニア、パッポンと近くオープンビアバーやパブも多く遊びやすい。 コストパフォーマンスを含め気軽で使い勝手の良いホテルだと思う。

The location of this hotel is great, just 1 min away from BTS station. Staff were nice, very helpful and friendly. The only thing I did not like was that my room had no window so I could not know what the weather would be until I stepped out of the hotel or went upstairs for my breakfast. Overall, it is a good place to stay.

部屋はとてもモダンな雰囲気で、清潔でした。 BTSサラディーン駅から徒歩１分の場所にあり、空港からはトレイルリンクとBTSを乗り継いで45分くらい（運賃は 、たしか80TBくらい。タクシーの場合は、270TB程度）。また、サラディーン駅から王宮周辺やWat Pooを見に行くのには、３駅隣のタークシン駅からエクスプレスボートに乗れるので、非常に便利。タニヤ、パッポン通りにも徒歩5分程度なので夜飲み歩くのにも便利でした。一点気になった点は、繁華街に面しているので、朝の３時くらいまでは、周囲の音楽が鳴り響いています。それが気にならない方にはおすすめです。

the location was not bad. and the staff was really helpful and kind. The room was good,clean and quite. The breakfast was good, too.

ＢＴＳやＭＲＴの駅まで１～２分ですので、交通の便は最高なレベルです。となりにあるディスコの影響で、深夜３時まで騒音がキツイです。私は寝れましたが、神経質な方は眠れないでしょう。３時頃、ホテルの前に立ってください。男性ばかりの異様な光景を見ることが出来ます。それを目当てにした女性も見えるようですが・・・。有線室内インターネット（無料＋Ｇ階に２台のＰＣ）環境、５００ｍｌの水／日、カードキー、石鹸・シャンプー・バスジェル・セイフティーＢＯＸ・ＮＨＫ（プレミアム）＋ＨＢＯ等、朝食バフェ（予約人数分、６：３０～１０：３０）有。

隣のディスコがうるさく、イヤープラグをして毎晩寝てました。部屋は広くて綺麗ですが備品が少ないです。 スリッパ無し・ティッシュボックス無し・歯ブラシ無し ミネラルウォーターは毎日2本無料でした。

The hotel rooms are cozy enough, wooden floors which is excellent since carpet tends to suck in odours and dirt. Surroundings are a bit noisy due to soi Patpong nearby. Location otherwise is excellent, very close to BTS and MRT stations. Customer service was absolutely superb, the hotel manager is such a darling!

We spent 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and we had no trouble with them. Since the hotel is near Patpong, the nights are a bit noisy. Next time we'll request for a room with no window as to minimize the noise.
