Stayed for one night, the room only had a stand up shower which to bad but I would have preferred a full bath tub, cable channels are very limited and the dont have room service which I'm use to but other than that its comfortable and clean!

The room wasnt cleaned thoroughly prior to the previous visitors..there was hair on the sheets on the bathroom floor rose petals as soon as we walked on under the table and behind the curtains

Nice room. Very quiet. Breakfast could have been better. Not much selection of breakfast items. Bagels were stale, coffee was cold. Room was clean but toiletries weren't replaced even when used up and housekeeping failed to replace my towels on one of the 2 days that I stayed. Overall, I would recommend and return to this hotel.

Difficult to find. Entrance is not on the address street. No real signs. Parking lot not identified at all - and nearly a block from the entrance. It would seem like a new hotel, but inside that is clearly not the case. The hotel did not have my Expedia reservation on file, but they eventually accepted it and gave me a room. No restaurants in the area […] as far as the reservation clerk knew or I could find. They recommended delivery. Actually drove two towns over before I stumbled on a pizza place. the location was terrible. hotel was fine. two drunk mean screaming obcenities at 3 am in courtyard for 45 minutes. apparently the hotel does not have a security staff. they need one. will never stay at that location again. asked the clerk for a nice place to have dinner and a drink and he couldn't come up with any. he was right. not one single NICE […] place to have a dinner and a drink ie applebee's, chilis, etc Les mer

We were flying out of the Philadelphia airport in the morning. Hotel was about a 10-15 minute drive so it's super convenient. Hotel also offers a shuttle to the hotel which is nice.

The sheets were pilled and the pillows lumpy and uncomfortable. The mattresses were no better than average. There was no blowdryer in the room. There were (almost) enough good, clean towels. Room smelled like BO when we first entered, and the neighborhood was dangerous late at night when we got there. Street people hit us up below the hotel, and parking […] was random, on the street. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We expected the worse having stayed at airport hotels previous but this hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. They have an excellent shuttle service to and from the airport which made it very easy for us. Issues that greeted us as our stay started: 1)broken shower fixture, 2)a beeping battery low smoke alarm, 3)a locked safe, and 4)a party they couldn't control. It took 4 calls to the front desk and a visit to get something done. Each call promised someone was coming up "right now" and we couldn't change rooms because the hotel was booked full. With […] the visit I had to explain everything again for the fifth time so they could document it and a room was suddenly found and it was an upgrade. To begin with, I was assigned to a handicapped accessible room. The shower device was too short (and I"m not a tall guy), making it extremely difficult to bathe without staying bent over. Worse still was the lack of soap. I was provided with a single one and a half inch square bar of soap for a two night stay and the shampoo and conditioner were not […] replenished. The hotel was clean & organized: The staff was very accommodating and helpful. It was 10 pm, and I was in need of a few emergency copies for a presentation the next morning. The desk staff helped me out of a jam and solved my issue. Room: the room was spacious and nice. Unfortunately I had a handicap bathroom which posed some challenges. neighborhood is not the best, but hotel is great. shuttle service to casino and PPL Park is very convenient as walking in the area is not advised

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. First of all, the proximity to the airport is great. My room was very spacious and comfortable. It had all the amenities to make my one night stay comfortable. There is a seven eleven on the ground floor right next to the hotel, which was also a nice convinience to have. This was probably the best Best Western […] I've ever stayed at. The breakfast area is clean, spacious, and filled with natural light thanks to the large windows. The breakfast food is not great, but it is sufficient. The only negatives were that my room was close to the elevator, and the noise from some rowdy guests was audible in my room. The bathroom is, while spacious, insufficiently lit in my opinion. Also, the shower head was awkward and difficult to position. I had a hard time taking a shower. The shower tends to flood outside of its boundaries, leaving the floor wet. There are no restaurants or services in the area, which could be a bit of a problem if you don't have a car, but the hotel makes the shuttle available to take guests to the airport and/or the local Harrah's casino, where there […] are numerous food options. This hotel in definately not in a very nice part of town. The front of the hotel faces the university, but the back, where the parking is looks like a seedy part of town. We were in town for my cousins wedding and got there early so we could get dressed at the hotel. When we arrived, the lobby was very warm which should have been a sign of things to […] come. Our room was roasting and after 2 hours the air conditioning still did not work in our room. We called the front desk and they informed me that a maintnence man would be there to fix the problem, within 2 more hours. I had to get ready for the wedding in the heat and later that night, we learned that the a/c could not be fixed. They were willing to DOWN grade our room because that was all that was available, but we were already at the wedding and wouldnt be back til after midnight. Also, we went down to the front desk for more towels and shampoo because there was 4 of us in the room and they didn't have any shampoo or conditioner to give us. Even though the sign in the room stated that they would be happy to supply any tolietries. And finally, the next morning breakfast was served from 6am until 10am. We arrived at 7:45am only to find 2 pieces of wheat bread, some hard boiled eggs and a lady making the last few waffles. Everything else ws gone and they had nothing else to serve. Needless to say, I was more than disgusted with our overall stay at this hotel. Les mer

Building and hotel are fairly new, so the facilities are nice. The room was not as clean as I'd like, there was visible dust and the bathroom had some stains on the tile. However, it was acceptable. The area is a little sketchy. A female traveling alone may want to stay somewhere closer to the city. This is pretty suburban.

No complaints about the hotel itself. A little difficult to find the parking lot, and a little strange getting to the entrance from the parking lot. Neighborhood was a bit shady, but once inside we felt safe and were very comfortable.

At the time we were there, the toilet in our room did not flush. We alerted the desk staff and they were nice about it but said that was just how it was. They did not offer to give us a different room and we didn't press it. Our family needed to use restrooms elsewhere during our stay.

Booked this hotel because ad said it had 24 hour airport shuttle. On arrival, found out that it doesn't run 24 hours. After complaining, front desk manager put me in a cab and had me wait for a few other guests which caused me to almost be late and added stress that I really didn't need.

This was a very nice hotel. While the parking was somewhat limited, one can't really complain since the parking is free. Otherwise, a good choice to be close to the airport or Widener University.

One of the women at the front desk was rude, but the others were professional. Widener is only a three minute walk away, but don't go walking around the area at night. Shuttle drivers were extremely nice and helpful. Shuttle will drive you to the airport for free where you can catch a cheap train into town if you want to check out Philadelphia. Convenient,fantastic airport shuttle service fast and super friendly,very helpfull,very courteous. The room although clean had vaseline container under the bed. UCK!! We would however recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Horrible noise control, I was up all night between the hallway noise, person above me walking and next door arguing. The neighborhood is less than desirable, and not one to be walking alone even during the day in.

It was a nice clean hotel. There was no charge for parking. The amount i paid for the room was less than what i would have paid for parking and this way i did not have a 3 hr commute to philly in the early morning

No fence around the property or the parking area. If fully booked, you will not have enough parking. However, there are street parking. 1) I called 10 days earlier to confirm the reservation and to request a microwave. I was promised one but when I arrived it was not in the room. I stayed for 3 nights and asked for it every day but did not get one. 2) The safe was dead. I reported it and was promised to get it fixed. Did not happen. 3) Beds are great, TV works, refrigerator works. 4) […] Carpet needs cleaning. 5) I used train to downtown which was great. Hotel shuttle to airport train station was also excellent. I asked if I should return to the place where they dropped me off and the driver said yes. When I returned to that exact place I called the hotel multiple times to tell them where I was waiting. They just could not find American departure at Terminal A East. I was standing in cold weather for 50 minutes. At my age I also had to suffer since I was afraid to return into the terminal building and miss the shuttle while taking care of my physiological needs. Bottom line: I am reluctantly recommending this hotel not because it is perfect but because it is less expensive than the $500 hotels that were available downtown Philadelphia for those days. By far, the best thing about this hotel was their service. My family went to Philadelphia for a weekend stay. We did not rent a vehicle which we were hesitant of. The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport quickly. The drivers were very friendly. They were available to drive us anywhere between airport and hotel at any time. Hotel located in a college […] town so not much to do in the area, so they make up for it their service/shuttle. Rooms very clean. Front desk needs to work on their customer service a little. They could come across a little more friendly. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly. We chose this hotel because the rates were most reasonable, it looked the cleanest and was recently updated inside. When we return to Philly we will stay at this hotel again. Les mer

This hotel is new and very clean with generous roms and bath. Chester itself is not a great town at all with boarded up homes etc . However, this hotel sits right at Widener Univ. and it seems quite safe. They also inlcude a nice breakfast and everything was clean and kept.

The hotel was decent, my room was clean and neat and it is what you would expect from a Best Western. I usually stay in Sheraton Hotels, but ended up with a bad reservation and scrambling to find another hotel. This hotel was pretty good the staff were very polite and helpful. The only complaint I would have in regards to this hotel would be that the […] neighborhood is kind of rough, we were told not to go out at night because there are gangs, drug dealers and people get shot out there pretty often and that kind of kept us in our room most nights. We then could see what looked like drug sales outside right from our window and that kind of ruined the experience. Overall if you are going out just for business and do not plan on going out at night this hotel is not bad. Les mer
