SNOWDON MOTEL - Londonderry

I am so happy that I found this very quaint little hotel, which is located about 14 miles away from Stratton Mountain. It is a wonderful little place, older, but well maintained with tastefully done updates, and an extremely friendly owner. It is situated up on a bit of hill, and the motel has gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains behind it.

Although it is an older motel, it was a great place to stay. It was very comfortable, affordable and the owner was very friendly. Breakfast was included and consisted of bagels, toast, cereal, pastries, coffee & juice. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

Overall experience OK, for price have stayed in better accomodations, staff extremely helpful and friendly, not quite enough to have me stay again.

This is the cutest hotel! And very reasonably priced. Comfortable, nice sized room (king). Would be nice to have a grounded plug closer to the bed. I loved the rocking chair(s). Very comfy. Very personable small, private comfortable.

Very satisfied stay during the off season... Hotel staff amiable, and had no issues with a late arrival... Rooms were clean and well-kept... Not luxury, but functional...

On site management extremely friendly and helpfull. The motel needs work. Other than the motel people, there are no perks. The room is imaculate,: the furniture old but comfortable. A great place to stay if you are skiing Magic Mountain, two or three miles away. Otherwise the two closest sites of activity are Ludlow and Manchester Centre each about […] sixteen miles away. If you are looking for clean, safe, comfortable place to stay---at a most reasonable price- then Snowdon is for you. It is basic, no pool, no resturant, but the rooms do have refrigerator and micro-wave and of course TV. Located just a dozen or so miles outside Manchester, a fast commute. You can stay at Snowdon for about 5 nights for about the same […] cost of money than if you were to spend just ONE night in a Motel/Inn in Manchester VT. Now that is a deal I like! Definitely not the Hilton, but if you want a clean, comfortable room near the ski centers, this place is for you. Price is right. Breakfast included! Owner was very friendly and accomodating. Will stay here again next year.

Nice hotel for the price. Very "Mom and Pop" but with lots of care. Owners were very attentive and friendly. Rooms were adequate. Breakfast buffet hit the spot.

Quiet night stay in the Green Mountain National Forest. It isn't the Ritz, but the staff makes you feel at home. Would definately stay there again.

Nice people, cheap and clean.

Slim pickings in the area but picked this hotel based on reviews. Typical motel but very comfortable beds (and a lot of them), great water pressure in the shower, and a very friendly and helpful proprietor. Good value for the money. Charming place. Conveniently located. Though a little dated, it was very clean. Very reasonable price. Would definitely stay there again. Refrigerator and microwave in room was nice.

Had a wonderful week with the family. Manager is a major factor in the stay. Had good tips on things to do with the kids, like swimming, hiking and other stuff. Clean and well maintained. Not modern but comfortable and fitting with the environment. Manager is very helpful. Micro and refrigerator; no hairdryer; window fan - no a/c - but summer nights are so cool even the fan is not needed; heater; place for skiis
