Hotellets faciliteter var forsåvidt bra, men det hjelper lite når det kryr av kriminelle elementer fra inngangspartiet og ned til hotellrommets vindu hvor det foregikk omsetning av div. substanser hele natten. Masse bråk og skrik hele natten.

Perfect location in the middle of all the restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. Only 2 minutes walk to the beach. Very nice workers in the reception. Only two bad things about the stay: the shower should be fixed and the cleaning ladies were a bit lacy. We would choose this hotel again if we ever come back to Miami! :)

Bildene lyver! Rommet vi fikk var slitt og kunne absolutt trengt en oppgradering både når det gjelder interiør og generell oppgradering av flater som vegger og gulv. Men på den andre siden var beliggenheten super! Rett ved stranden, mange flotte shopping muligheter og restaurater på rekke og rad!

This hotel is in a great location. Not five star, but most old south beach hotels aren't that way anyway. For the price, it was exactly what I was expecting. This small studio suite hotel suited us. Economical and close to Everything! No traffic for us. We walked and biked everywhere. No real room service. No complaints. Everything worked and was clean.

I was very impressed with Ocean Reef Suites. The location was absolutely perfect, the room was large & clean. The convenience of having a store & a restaurant attached to the hotel was wonderful. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to south beach!

My parents and I were there for the SoBe Food and Wine Festival, and where the events were in relation to the hotel location was perfect. I love that we could basically walk everywhere, and there were plenty of cool shops to go into - all walking distance. The hotel staff was excellent! VERY friendly and accommodating! We found a superb secret in South Beach. Very reasonably priced suite for 4 persons, within walking distance of everything, Lumus Park, Flamingo Park, Lincoln Road, SOFI and the Boadwalk. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept in in the past 9 months of travel. late checkout, not a problem, more complimentary coffee, not a problem. Convenience […] store on the first floor, public parking a block away...covered parking, 4 blocks away, very fast free internet, very quiet carpeted floors. we liked the cleanliness and mnder, contemporaty design. Everything was ok except they could work a little more on the customer service. It was nearly impossible to get a hold of someone from the front desk and on two occasions had to call and talk so someone twice. We called because we didn't get towels, our sink was plugged and there was no dish liquid or rags for doing dishes. My boyfriend is overly polite, […] apologetic and he was so grateful when they delivered the towels but the staff member was rude. The language barriers were unanticipated but understandable. I think the front desk people could focus more on servicing the guests upon check in rather than having personal conversations in Spanish that seemed to make the process long and unwelcoming. We were worried there was an issue with our booking but could not understand. Overall, this hotel wasn't bad. I spent a lot of time reviewing hotels in the area and it seemed like a decent place in a good location. I would say my initial research proved to be correct. Compared to my "way of living" it was not up to par. However, compared to South Beach's "way of living" it wasn't bad. South Beach is a dirtier place than I am […] used to. We stayed here two different nights, once before our cruise and once after. The second time around was in a better and larger room, which was also cleaner. The first room was a little dirty and we had to plunge the toilet every time we used it. The second room the towels were dirty and had black hairs on them (my husband and I do not have black hair). Both rooms had dirty pillows and blankets that just felt grimy. The stair railing was literally detached from the wall in one of the buildings and was not safe at all. However, the staff and customer service were amazing. Both times they got us into our room way before 3 (the check in time). They also held onto our bags while we were waiting for our rooms to be ready so we could wander. Beach towels were provided which was nice as well. Also, the location was amazing. Walking distance to everything! The look of the rooms was nice and the small kitchen was an added bonus. We stayed in the studios both times. The free wifi was also great. If cleaning was more of a focus, I would have rated it better. Cleaner towels, sheets, and pillows would have been nice. Les mer

Great location, very close to the beach. The room had everything needed. Just seemed everything was from Ikea, budget furnishing throughout. The entire bathroom needs updating.

Hotel was under re-construction - which it needed So was noisy and a bit messy, but good price for such a great location, and spacious room. Don't go with high expectations, but worth the price. South Beach is super.

The location was great - located on Collins avenue ( one block from Ocean Ave). The exact location was next to a construction/renovation site of an apartment complex. It is next to a bar and has a "restaurant" attached to it. It is by far a MOTEL, not a hotel. Construction and materials of the room were shotty. Wore flip flops into the bathtub because […] it was not that clean. Maid service was basically a turn down and light dusting. I was also asked to pay in full up front and told that if I wanted to leave early, it would have to be approved by a manager. I only stayed because everything else was sold out due to Art Basel week. Pictures depicted on site are deceptive. I will post the pictures on trip advisor. NO ocean view or pool or a real valet (some guy will come and take your car to park in a garage a couple blocks away for $25 a night). Les mer

Before I booked this hotel, i read all the great reviews and to be honest i was really disappointed... 4 of us were travelling together and we all hated it... The rooms were dirty, the bathroom was nasty (bath painted with wall paint peeling off, towels with holes in them covered with hairs)...,The carpet in the room and outside the room were stained […] and stinky, the couch was covered of suspicious white spots etc...After 2 nights we left the Ocean Reef and booked somewhere else...The only thing good about the hotel was the location. The location of this place was great. The beach is within walking distance. The clubs and bars are also close so there is very little need for driving. The rooms were decently sized. The service was definitely good. The receptionist was more than happy to cater to my needs whether I needed a cab ride out to the airport or extra towels.

My friend and I stayed at the Ocean Reef Suites for three nights during Columbus Day weekend. We were allowed to check into a studio, which consisted of a queen sized bed, a futon couch, a small dining room set, kitchenette (equipped with a mini fridge and microwave), and a handicapped bathroom. The first thing we did was check for evidence of bed bugs […] and none were found, however, a huge urine stain on the mattress was very off putting. The bed sheets and remainder of the room appeared to be cleaned, but the black futon cover looked very old which made us question its own cleanliness. The bathroom was very spacious, but ironically enough, there was no counter or shelf space to put your things aside from the small basin. The water pressure was horrible, but we made due for the weekend. Overall, the room was VERY spacious. We could have easily housed 4 people comfortably - more if wanted. For the price, it served its purpose, which was to offer us a place to rest our head after clubbing into the wee hours of the morning and to offer us a place to shower when we returned from the beach each day. If you are looking for that at a reasonable price, this is your spot. Les mer

At check-in, the hotel staff person scanned my credit card and driver’s license. That is totally unacceptable. My room had a leaking air conditioning unit, which created a wet spot on the carpet. The temperature was also difficult to maintain. I had a ground floor unit and the staff had let the bathroom window unlocked and open, there was only a broken […] screen leaning up against the open window. The finishes in the bathroom especially were worn and stained. I found a water bug in the unit. Valet parking is done by a third party that only accepts cash and took twice as long to deliver my car as promised (30 minutes instead of 15). One of the attendants at the front desk was surly. It was a ok, experience, the room studio was not bad, need some repair work, most of the lights were out needed light bows change. Bathroom need some work, updates. The worse was this noise coming from somewhere, it was not the a CD it was something else. My room was 418, they really need to che out that noise. Over roll it was ok.

It was a nice stay but for the price, breakfast should be included as ammenitiy. The room is nice, just noticed a lot of dust in windows and corners, i'm allergic to dust. Overallnot bad for a 1 night stay

Room large, but felt like a college dorm room. Located behind a cigar shop and a money order store. Felt shady!

The bed sheets and pillow was old and had a dirty stain on them.The carpet needed hoovering.However we did ask for it th be change and it was and the floor hoovered.The next time when the pillow cases got change the dirty ones was left on the floor. The staff in reception on the day of check was very friendly and nice. The location was great.

The hotel needs major renovations. The bathroom is small for a suite and the bath tub was clogged. Dirty drapes and carpets. The only thing great about this hotel was the location and staff. If you can afford to stay elsewhere I suggest that you do.

nice hotel for someone on a budget or for someone that just needs a place to sleep and isn't going to spend too much time in the room...comparable to a suit at like a days in or best western or comfort inn....nothing special...but better than a lot of other places around..location is awesome!!!

Batteries in electronic door lock and safe needed to be replaced upon arrival. Staff quickly resolved minor issues with can-do attitude. Wish we could have closed the bathroom window to keep out neighbors noise. Hotel is a block away from the beach and has a cash only Mini-Market conveniently next door. Happy with experience, will stay here again.

it was clean and spacious. staff was very helpful. very good for families with small kids,comes with attached kitchenette. very good location, close to everything you may need in miami. for a price, all inclusive USD 130, we got it at it was a steal deal . could not have expected more.

Except for the hassle with parking (no lot at the hotel and lethargic service from the valet), this hotel was a very good value for its location in South Beach. I cannot complain. I have stayed in several hotels on South Beach and the Ocean Reef is so far my favorite. The front desk receptionist was very friendly at all times. The room was absolutely great. Free Wi-fi is included, the front desk receptionist will let you know the password upon check-in. Beach towels are also available for the hotel guests to […] use. It was roomy, quiet and clean. Adjacent to the hotel was a grocery store (which accepts cash only) and a spa in which the prices are reasonable for a mani & pedi, except threading for the eyebrows ...(outrageous). The location is perfect, there are great locations to eat e.g Davids Cafe (my favorite) which is a block away, perfect for a delicious breakfast available 24hrs at an amazingly low price. The beach is a block away. There are a few parking garages also within a block away that vary between $15-$20 a day. Make sure that you do not leave any valuables visible in your car! South Beach is fun but you need to be really smart of your actions cause a lot of things happen. Overall very satisfied, I will be going back in about 2months and will be staying at this hotel for sure. Les mer
