Arbuckle Lodge - Fargo

Was traveling through and wanted to go to the zoo. You can walk right out the door and go to the zoo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again if I'm ever in Fargo.

My stay was awesome, I had to extend it due to a death in the family and the staff was awesome at accommodating my family in our time of need.

Only complaint was parking..parking lot and sidewalks were not taken care of after the snowfall from previous night..when we came back from our event we had to park in front of the dumpster...was no parking spaces.

The bottom of the pool is quite rough and both my girls ended up with skinned knees

Coming from out of state, I was leary of an unknown hotel, but everything about our stay was superb! I would definitely recommend!

I had never heard of Arbuckle Lodge hotels but was pleasantly surprised! Beautiful interior, nice pool for kids, staff was friendly and the rooms were huge. We brought in food and ate in the breakfast area and at 7pm they have free movie for kids with popcorn and soda. Great location, easy access to freeways, restaurants, and shopping. We stayed in a room with 2 beds, 2 baths and a full kitchen. The hotel room was spacious. The variety of food offered for breakfast was reasonable. Check in and out was quick and easy. The location was easy to get to and close enough to any shopping or freeway entrances. The room was clean and well maintained. The heat control of this space is lacking. […] The living room would be a comfortable temperature, the first bedroom was a little cooler and the second bedroom was absolutely freezing! The pool area is very age specific. It was too deep for a kids pool for my 19 month old and too shallow for my 15 yr old but perfect for my 4 yr old. In the entire hotel they had one maybe two luggage cart(s). We waited 20 mins to use one and gave up. Though breakfast offered a variety of food, it was not very good! The biggest con of the hotel was as we were trying to bring everything from the room to our cars, the hotel cleaning staff stood outside our room for an hour even though it was not check out time! With their cart in the hallway, I could barely get through. You would think they would have something better to do then stand around staring at you for an hour. For us, this hotel was not the best fit. We were looking for a hotel with a full kitchen to cook Christmas dinner in with family. In the future, we would rather check out another hotel or just go out to eat and stay at another hotel room without a kitchen than stay here again! Les mer

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Our room was nice, cozy and very clean. Linens, pillows, and bed are soft and comfy. We slept very comfortably. Breakfast has lots of variations.

Enjoyed our stay at the Arbuckle inn only complaint we had was you could hear throught the walls! Kids running upstairs and people talking in the hallways as thought the door was open. Otherwise the stay was perfect and would recommend anyone to stay there. Awesome continental breakfast, clean and friendly staff.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was satisfying. The hotel in general was clean and inviting. The layout of the room should have been thought out better. The full length mirror is on the wall across from the bathroom and on the opposite wall from the beds so when someone comes out of the bathroom the light from the bathroom is reflected […] directly across and into the eyes of the sleeping people. The room was large and very comfortable. There could have been an easy chair and a lamp to read the newspaper. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback was the noise in the hallway and a dog barking someplace on our floor.

Hi - the hotel was great and not too far from West Acres Mall (we came to shop). The only issue we had was there were 3 of us sharing a room and when I booked I specifically emphasized that we needed a roll-away cot for the 3rd person - the lady who booked us on the phone said that was no problem a cot was booked. Check in time was 3pm but we checked […] in at 5pm and then were told "oh well cots are available on first come, first serve, basis so we may not have one for you"!!!! If we had been told this on the phone we would have ensured we checked in at 3pm promptly instead of shopping first! BUT thanks goodness we did get a cot after all so that was good (although I must say that was the most horrible uncomfortable rollaway cot I've ever used! but we made it work). The room had more space than a typcal hotel room. Nice to have microwave and small fridge in room. The bathrooms were very clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was very basic and a little disappointing. They had a hard time keeping food filled up and ran out of things like fruit. Overall good stay.

The fitness room was horrible. One broken elliptical, one treadmill and one stationary bike. That's it. The breakfast and room were great.

excellent room. clean nice decor. staff very helpful. very nice pool and hotub.Breakfast o.k. However could hear a pin drop in room above me. as well could hear all activity of couple above all night even with earplugs! stomping and ???moving furniture at 4 and 5 a.m. Not sure what hotel can do about that. Nice, quiet room. Jacuzzi was small but nice. Had to clean it a bit before using. The mattress on the bed is about ready for replacement. Very large room. Would choose it again!

ALL the staff was AWESOME..--helped with Pizza.. I did have an unpleasant time in the elevator with an over excited employee.. that seemed to be in a hurry to get on the elevator... she jumped right in front of me while I was trying to get on the elevator.. other than that.. A simple, clean, well appointed hotel. We've stayed here several times and enjoy the decent rate, cleanliness, and the duvet covers on the beds. A note though: the Settle Inn in Grand Forks isn't nearly as nice or clean as the one in Fargo - wouldn't recommend staying at the one in Grand Forks

SettleInn is a very clean, well-staffed motel. Our visit was to Moorhead, across the river but only 5 min away, so obviously convenient to both Fargo and Moorhead.

We had a very nice stay of 3 nights during a very high-demand time of year. The hotel was very convienient and very helpful in giving us directions around town. I wish that the pool area had a larger swimming pool, and the crowds made the area very packed. Still, overall, it was a very nice stay.

Overall everything was good. Breakfast was standard fare. Pool was small but fine for the amount of time we used it. Not always someone at front desk so some concerns about security.

We needed a vacation from our three sons: ages 21, 22, and 23. We thought a little escape to Fargo would improve our sanity and save both of us from pulling out our hair. We were pleasantly suprised with not only our room but the reception we got when we checked in. The young lady at the front desk was both personable and polite. Our room was a whirlpool […] suite and we felt like a honeymoon couple again. The breakfast at the hotel was wonderful and it gave us the opportunity to talk to several other travellers. The young lady who was responsible for the breakfast area was very friendly and kept things running smoothly and cleanly. The only complaint was that the rooms were not totally sound proof. We could hear the children in the room above us running, but what are you going to do....that's kids for you! We will definitely stay here again. We are also pleased to report that our house was still standing when we got home....and no parties (that we know of)! Les mer

The room was huge and very clean! We stayed in the suite with a hottub, it had a separate sitting area with 2 chairs along with the hottub and another tv. I would definately suggest this hotel to anyone. The pool area did have an overpowering smell of chlorine, but i think that's normal for any hotel pool, but i didn't mind it after a while, and i would […] rather have that and know that the pool is clean, than not. The location was right off the interstate so that was very nice and easy to find. Overall it was a great hotel. I don't think we had any complaints!! Les mer

Newly built hotel, off the main road. Nice, large rooms but seemed bare, not cozy. Was not able to partake the free breakfast as the dining room was crowded.

The room we stayed in was clean and with comfortable beds. Unfortunately our air conditioning unit was not working so for the first night of our stay, we couldn't turn on the fan to block out the noise from other guests. We discussed this with an employee at the front desk the next morning and they actually called maintenance to come in and replace […] the unit, which surpassed our expectations. We stayed with two young children and we found the hotel curtains insufficient in blocking out the rising eastern sun. The pool was pretty uncomfortable in terms of temperature, as well. Overall, the stay was average, the continental breakfast was great, and we might stay there again if we were in the same last minute booking situation that we were in this trip! Les mer

This hotel offered everything that was important for a short stay. We found the rooms very comfortable, larger than most and the high ceilings made it seem even more spacious. We appreciated the extra room as we required a cot, and still had plenty of space. The pool area was enjoyed by our 10 and 12 yr olds....the basketball net and slide were big […] hits! The fitness room was clean, and hours were great, but we found it was a little on the warm side compared to the temperature in the hallway. Breakfast was fantastic, and the worker there was extremely diligent in re-stocking and was super friendly. The entire hotel was VERY clean, which is something I always notice and appreciate. We are big fans of The Hamptons, but think that this hotel is just as good, if not better......will definately be back! Les mer

This hotel is easy to find, close to all the shopping Fargo has to offer and is very clean. Pool is nice but small so sometimes difficult to get into on long weekends when loads of families are staying. The breakfast is adequate but not overly exciting or appetizing...unless you're into carb loading. The room is very clean and spacious. The only thing […] that would have made it better would have been a comfortable lounge chair to sit in and watch TV. There was plenty of space for one. Nice room. Very comfortable except for the pillows. Had alot of problems with the keys inactivating.
