Fint hotell midt i sentru,. Kafe og restaurant ok. Pass på at du får det du har betalt for. Vi hadde frokost inkludert i prisen, for så å få ekstra regning for en såkalt "business pakke". Resepsjonisten var rimelig påståelig, men vi holdt på vårt og fikk rett etterhvert. Resepsjonisten beklaget kort, men virket heller snurt. Rommet er helt ok.

The hotel was ok. The rooms (I had two, because of some strange noise in my first room. I was though upgraded) had kitchen. The view was nice. I could see the city and the river, and also the famous bridge. Because of all the traffic on the bridge it was to noisy to sit on the balcony. It was located a good walk from the city-center. Lot of water in the shower!

Jeg syns dette hotellet var veldig fint. Det var ikke for langt unna sentrum, og det gikk fint an å gå. Rommene var svært fine, og senga var god. Hvis det er noe jeg skal klage på, må det være der svømmebassenget var - det var ikke spesielt ryddig og fint der. Badet på rommene var heller ikke like fint som resten av rommet. Men annet enn det, syns jeg dette hotellet var svært bra. Vi hadde også en veldig fin utsikt fra rommet (rom 815). Anbefales!

How stay was enjoyable & we will be back.

I enjoyed the convenience of the location, however the inconvenience caused when registering and departing will mean I will not be staying there in the future. As I suffer with a mobility disability, having to go through the processes required put a dampener on an otherwise enjoyable stay.

On the positive side: the location is great. Restaurants, attractions and train station are within walking distance. Swimming pool is very good if you're a lap swimmer. Sauna worked for me too. These apartments are in a great area of the city,walking distance to Queen Street Mall and Botanic Gardens. Accommodation was very clean and extremely comfortable. Car parking was cheap($20) but a little complex to get in and out of.
"Hotel Istay RiverCity"
Disappointed no shampoo + conditioner provided. Room smelled like garbage and needed to be aired out. The dishwasher was full of mould. There was only one glass, even though the room was booked for and used by 2 people. The airconditioning needed a service as it wasn't working properly. It was also weird that there was absoutely no cover on the doona […] (just placed inbetween two sheets) and pretty obvious that they were not washed regularly. The room sizes were good and the hotel is in a very convenient location. Having the balcony was also really nice. The pool was disappointing, the chairs around it are all borken it it's pourly maintained. Les mer

Good quality apartment, reasonable price for the space you got. Gym was fine. Central location was good. Hotel standard good. Separate door for check in and entrance a little odd but not a problem.

We really enjoyed our stay at River City. Perfect location and nice standard. One thing I want to mention as the hotel do not mention this them self anywhere is that next door is the construction of a new tall rise building. **Really hard to locate buzzer to access parking, no signage. **Room was damaged, walls and a/c not working and mould on walls. "Construction zone hotel"
This was a terrible hotel. Construction started at 6:30 am and it was loud. They are building a high rise within 20 feet of our room. Piledrivers and earth moving equipment all day. Plus this is a condo and if you wanted face cloths or hand towels or shampoo or bath soap you had to pay extra. Maybe in 2 years time the hotel may be stayable. Beautiful large room with spacious balcony, but maintenance not quite catching up with the quality of the room - inside shower booth was moldy, and most of Foxtel channels were unavailable as it "Needed an subscription update. I was woken at 4am because the alerm clock was probably not reset after the previous customer. I could not go back to sleep […] and it was supposed to be my sleep-in day! Les mer

The location of these apartments is fantastic, 10min walking distance to supermarkets plenty of choices of where to eat within such close proximity. Apartment lovely and clean, only gripe is if you were staying for longer than 2 nights and with four or more guests they only provide minimal sachets of tea/coffee/sugar and once you run out they charge […] you to purchase more from reception! Much cheaper to head out the door and purchase a barista coffee from the three choices within 15 metres of apartments!! Les mer

A very central hotel close to all ammenities. We had a 2 bedroom unit with 2 bathrooms. However there was only 1 tiny air-con for the whole unit. No ar-con in the bedrooms or fans!

Clean & comfortable with a great location and a good gym. Rooms are not cleaned daily, and extra charges for extra soap and towels etc are the one downside.

"Great Location & Ideal for all travellers"
We are a family of 5 with 3 children which can make it difficult to book reasonable central accomodation. This apartment was ideal with plenty space & `extras` - tvs, washing machine, dryer, kitchen area. Also great to be in the heart of the city as we only stayed 2 nights & could walk everywhere.

I stayed at iStay Rivercity for 3 nights - a 'long wekend' style holiday with my boyfriend to see our football teams faceoff. Having not been to Brisbane before, I was very happy with how central the apartments were - everything was within 5-10 minutes walk, including Eagle Street Pier which was great for food and drink. Queens St mall is close by and […] great value for everyone. Getting to the Gabba was painless with a free bus from City Hall, a short walk from the apartment. We also rented a car for a day to get to Dreamworld - this apartment block is within a stones throw of at least 3 car rental places, so that was very easy. Free weekend parking nearby meant that we didnt have to pay for the apartments parking, which was pricey, but cheap compared to other secure parking options. The apartment itself was modern, clean and spacious, and we could ask the reception staff for anything it was missing - we were missing wine glasses and they were delivered to our door by a friendly staffer within 10 minutes. The spa, sauna and pool were also good value - even though they are outdoors, and the weather was cold, we enjoyed a night time dip immensly. The one bedroom apartment had two tvs and foxtel available, as well as a spacious balconey and decent sized bathroom. All in all, we were more than satisfied with this apartment and would recommend it to others! Les mer

"not great for short term visitors"
Seems like these apartments would be great if you are staying for at least a week, but not for a short term stay. The kitchen was not useful for an overnight stay. Finding the hotel was not easy to find as the reception desk is separate from the entrance and the parking entrance/exit is around the corner. With lots of one way streets, it was mighty […] confusing. Because these are apartments there is no concierge or really anyone to help with directions or activities in the city. "iStay River City in Brisbane - great location"
Not the cheapest place we've ever stayed, by any means, but our 2-bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable. We were very glad, in the end, that we'd decided to stay in town rather than in a charming old "Queenslander' in Paddington - it was a very convenient location for everything we wanted to see. And an unexpected bonus: there is an Avis office […] two doors along the street, which made it very easy to pick up our car on the day we checked out. Les mer

Overall stay was rather pleasant but hotel service was rather minimal or somewhat lacking. However, the hotel location being close to city central makes it up. Queen Street Mall is just a few minutes walk away so it does make it better.

We arrived late and our welcome was all very efficient. A bit difficult to spot the small hotel sign but all OK. Mix up over number of rooms booked very quickly sorted with no fuss. Apartmenst had all that we needed and very clean and comfy. Secure system of entry. Hotel situated an easy walk near Botanical gardens and Queens Street shopping where big […] supermarket is located. 7/11 very close but expensive. "Good location to CBD & Botanical Gardens"
We booked this as there were 3 travellers together and we did not want to have to book 2 seperate hotel rooms. We had a 1 bedroom serviced apartment with 2 single beds and a rollaway. The apartments are in a very convenient spot. We were a little surprised that there was no information in the room about either the facilities at the apartments or about […] Brisbane and its attractions. A guide to working the television would also have been helpful! As interstate visitors with little knowledge of Brisbane this would have been appreciated. Staff were friendly and happy to store luggage, arrange Taxi's etc. Les mer

Den helt rigtige beliggenhed hvis man vil bo centralt i Brisbane, og et glimrende alternativ hvis man ikke vil bo på hotel, men fx spare lidt på restaurant-budgettet. Stor stue, køkken med komfur, køleskab, ovn, mikroovn, opvaskemaskine - og vaskemaskine/tørretumbler på badeværelset. Separat soveværelse og dejlig stor altan med spiseplads. Ma demande n'a pas été prise en compte puisque nous étions logé au 10 ème étage sur 41, avec vue sur le centre et non la rivière, dans un 2 chambres alors que je pensais avoir réservé pour 1 chambre (en bref, tout le contraire!!!). Lorsque je parle de vue au 10è, je suis gentil car entouré d'immeubles hauts, cela correspond à un RDC chez nous... Je […] suis conscients que toutes les demandes ne peuvent être honorées mais je pensais qu'en m'y prenant plus de trois mois avant, j'avais mes chances. L'appartel est très bien placé et bien agencé. L'accueil est bon mais l'insonorisation est plus que moyenne car de l'extérieur, comme de l'intérieur, tout s'entend. Pas de possibilité de chauffage individuel. Seule une clim est visible mais pas de télécommande. L'ampoule de la lampe de chevet était HS, j'ai permuté avec une autre. Très bonne literie et le choix entre deux chambres nous a permis de choisir la plus petite, la moins éclairée, mais la moins bruyante. Le bilan est moyen. Les mer
