The building and especially the lobby are beautiful and the extras are many. Breakfast, afternoon meal and popcorn are all included. But in my book this does not qualify to hit the top marks. The hotel is huge and it is a un-personal machine. There are huge lines for every meal, and the meals are served on plastic plates. My room did not feel perfectly clean and the bed linen were old and should have been replaced. The location is great.

Historisk sus og følelse. Det som mangler på standard (kunne vært opp-pusset en del av rommene) finner du i hotellet forøvrig. Fantastisk flott restaurant og nydelige omgivelser forøvrig.

"Amazing Manager"
At first, I didn't like the hotel at all. You walk in to the front desk and it smells bad and there are plants over grown everywhere! I was with my one year old son and felt like I needed to go somewhere more... american, i guess. I stayed four days and the maid service only came once. And when they did, they never took out any of the garbage. Diapers […] and take out were overflowing! But, hours after I checked out I remembered I left both of our birth certificates, social security cards, and everything else important in an envelope on the table. I went back and not only did the manager give it right back to me, but I went threw it all very carefully and found that he didn't even open the envelope! I would go back to that sincere man's hotel anytime. Maids or not. Les mer
"GROSS!"
The room was filthy. The walls were all chipped and paint was on the floor. The floor doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned. The bathroom floor was so sticky the towel was glued to the floor. The smell was awful. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I was disgusted to say the least.

For a low-budget hotel, I wasn't expecting much, and my expectations were met. The hotel is showing it's age and is not well maintained. The A/C and TV worked, I had hot water, the bed was comfortable and the clerk was nice. Expect more than that and you will not be pleased.

The hotel was not as expected. People "HUNG OUT" as if they lived at the hotel and were in their home neighborhood. Which did not leave you feeling safe. Parking was inadquite. The ventalation in the bathroom was uncovered and filled with dust.

Needs more than just paint to clean this motel up. Looks like it might have long term residents there. Carpet need vaccumed -

"Bad choice"
I spent only one night at the hotel with my family. I was not expecting much for the price I paid for the room. It was much worse, the room and the bathroom were dirty, the remote control was broken, and there was no power on some of the outlets. I informed front desk of these issues and nothing was done. I definitely don't recommend this hotel to anybody. […] Spend a few more dollars and get something better... trust me. Les mer

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. This was the first time we have been to San Antonio. I think we stayed at the wrong side of the neighborhood because the police was there every night, I am not exagerating! I did not felt safe. The room had a strange stank. Room and bathroom very dirty. The bed sheets had stains. I guess you get what you paid for. […] Next time I would rather spend an extra 30.00 to stay at a nicer hotel. Over all, I do not recommend it unless it is your last option. Les mer

Who said a picture was worth a thousand words, must not have shopped on line for a hotel room. This hotel was not very clean my kids were afraid to fall asleep in it. We could only stand one night and we had to change hotels. Please observe the two star rating and not the price tag.

The Staff and surrounding neighbors in the area were pleasant and helpful; however, the hotel needed attention. The bathtub was not completly clean (bottom dark from lack of effort), behind the faucet was dirty, the corners on the floor were dirty and the table had dried on crusty stuff glued to it. The the bed was nice to me because I like firm without […] lumps. I had to buy a pillow because their pillows were flat and I don't like sleeping on a burrito. This hotel is worth the price if you bring cleaning supplies, and bedding - you get what you pay for. Les mer

Staff was nice but sink had bugs and carpet was dirty. And it said they had breakfast but they did not soi would not recommend this hotel.

Nothing like advertised. Place was filthy, looked more like the poor side of the getto. Place has NOT been maintained properly. People yelling at 3 in the morning out side my room. At 6 someone was knocking on my room door then ran off. I wouldnt stay their if they payed me to. Never again will I stay their.

This hotel seems more like an extended stay hotel. There were barbecue pits and chairs in front of the doors. Don’t be fooled the hotel looks nothing like the picture and it not white! The room floor was very dirty. We sleep in our cloths and could not wait for the next morning so that we could leave! Luckily, I purchased the room for only 1 night! […] Would I stay there again? My stay at this hotel was kind of scary. We came to check in and there was a sign on the window that said be back in 15 minutes, I waited a half an hour and no one ever came so we came back more than an hour later and someone was there. The toilet didn't flush,we had to open the tank and lift up the one part to flush it, and the bathroom was dirty and […] didn't looked like it had been cleaned a long time. The sheets were old and very warn and I don't think they were clean. There was only a sheet and thin blanket. The walls were paper thin. I heard an argument outside our door. And I heard the person in the next room perfectly clear. I was actually scared. I would recommend paying a little more and staying somewhere else. That is what I will do next time. Les mer
This Hotel just cover the basic needs, a bed, restroom, shower, small refrigerator and microwave. its at 10 min to the downtown. you should be bring your own shampoo and probably a towel...

"Not Up to Par"
there was a terrible mold smell. Heater smell like burnt hair. Holes in wall no plug for bath tub. Bed was very uncomfortable. not enough towels to go around. Pillows was hard to get and had to wait for them. furniture was old and worn. low pressure in shower. This was not up to the knights Inn I have stayed in. In the past the breakfast was that a […] breakfast. This was a cheap honey bun and coffee and if you dont drink coffee they have cheap orange juice. This was unacceptable as i dont drink coffee. When i confronted the owners they just said it was old and offer nothing to make me want to come back to this motel. There is no shuttle to and from the airport and are out of the way in a bad neighbor. There is no recommendation from me. It was HORRIBLE!!!! Les mer
"Bugs"
this is the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel. 1st time was great. 2nd time there were ants all over the sink area. Not a bug person. But I like the area it is in. Near the Post and other areas. But not the bugs.... The price is better than staying at other hotels in the same area.

El hotel dejo mucho que desear en cuanto a limpieza del baño y de toallas. Ademas del olor del cuarto que aunque reserve una "not smoking", parecia todo lo contrario! Me queje al manager y nos cambio a otro que estaba un poco mejor en cuanto al olor pero no mejoro mucho en lo de limpieza. Incluso tenia una sabana, que aunque olia a "lavada", tenia una […] mancha que no daba buen aspecto. El precio de la habitacion es economico y claro que no esperabamos uno de 3, 4 o 5 estrellas; pero he estado en otros del mismo nivel de precio y aunque sencillos, los hemos encontrado muy limpios en baños, sabanas y olores! Fue en un viaje de mas de 15 hras x carretera y la verdad en el regreso ya mejor reserve un hampton inn, que aunque estaba casi al doble x noche, fue mucho mejor x el desayuno, la limpieza y sobre todo x el descanso placentero que tuvimos!
