Hotellet lå like ved spansketrappen. Deilige rene senger. Lekkasje fra sisterne WC og ut i gang, som medførte mugglukt. Vi hadde åpent vindu så det var ikke så gale. Skittent teppe på golvet som kunne vært tatt bort og heller hatt fliser. Koselig betjening som var til stede fra 7-14. Alt i alt et vellykket ophold.

While the hotel was in the ideal location right beside the Spanish steps close to everything and was very clean and nicely designed hotel, The service we got there was absolutely appalling. Apon arrival we had been given codes to get in through three doors because no staff would be there at the time we were arriving, which was 7 o clock, not in the […] middle of the night ! but They changed the codes a week before we got there and forgot to inform us so we stood in a courtyard in the pitch black while none of the numbers for the hotel were given were working ! Eventually a kind neighbour let us in the drama was over after an hour standing outside wondering if we would have to pay another hotel for that one night. I got up early the next day to complain and possibly move rooms as we were given two single beds there was no one to be seen for the rest of the trip, never anyone on reception or anywhere around the hotel. We got left a note on our last night to pay a €12 extra charge which we certantly did not pay. As I hadn't seen one member of staff the whole trip I felt there was no need to pay that extra charge. I arrived at 4pm and there was no reception there. I was sent a code which was not working so had to make an international call in order to get that code to open the door.The female was not very friendly! I was trying to tell her that I am standing here outside in the rain but she just said she is aware of that and kept asking me for my room nr which […] obviously I didnt have cos I just arrived... The walls of the hotel are quite thin and you can hear everything whats been said in other rooms, I couldnt boil water to make myself a coffee as I had to get a special plug for it. Comfortable hotel in a great location. Room and bathroom were comfortably sized. Wifi didn't quite reach our room, but was accessible near the front desk. You have to go to a local cafe for the included breakfast, but the people who run it are charming and the experience feels authentically Roman.

Four of us stayed in the one BR apartment which has a small patio just ouside the door. The location is great--so close to the top of the Spanish Steps. On the 2nd day, we found the lift to get to the Metro without climbing steps every time. Look for the Metro sign at the top of the Steps. The hotel was older, but clean. Location is superb, Bathroom seems recently renovated, rooms are clean, staff is very friendly, and cable tv is surprisingly good! Minor downsides include: staff are only present for a few hours a day, sound travels easily from corridors into the room (and obviously vice versa), and no view from the room. When we eventually got to our hotel it was ok but because there are more than one with the same name we were dropped off at the wrong place and had to make our own way to our appartment. Kindly staff willing to help although English is limited. Can purchase hop on/off bus at the hotel and part of the fee is paid to the hotel. Blue bus is less frequent than the red and green. It's within walking distance to shops and train station.

We stayed in the apartment. The location was great although climbing the Spanish Steps to go most places was a little tiring. The apartment has a small kitchen and bathroom which is average for Europe. The rest of it was a decent size for Europe and for a family traveling in Europe it was great. We found an incredible restaurant on one of the side streets near the botton of the Spanish Steps. It was called "Life" and was located on Via della Vite. Great hotel. Location to everything is excellent. We were able to walk to the Roman Forum, Colosseum, and Trevi fountain in under a half hour. Metro and Spanish steps are right close, probably a two minute walk. Breakfast provided is very good. They give you breakfast vouchers to use at one of the local cafes. We stayed in the apartment which is above the other rooms in the hotel and accessed by a separate gate. We stressed about how to get access since we were arriving after 2 pm when the reception for this small branch of the hotel goes away for the day. It turned out to be a non-event - the day before we arrived, we were provided with a door code to get […] through all three doors to the apartment and then the keys to the apartment door were made available to us in a secret location. The apartment consisted of 4 rooms: a bedroom, living room with table, small kitchen, and a bathroom. It also had a private patio with a table complete with candles. It was spotless when we arrived. There was both wireless and wired internet access although only our laptop could access the wireless signal for some reason. I had brought an Airport Express though, plugged it into the wired port, and we all had super-fast wifi. In fact, the internet access was faster than almost any other hotel I've stayed in. The location was awesome with convenient access to all the major sites. We walked everywhere, although if you want to take metro, there is an entrance less than 200m away. The only negative was that free breakfast was not provided to the apartment as it was to the other rooms. We solved this by buying groceries and making our own (probably better) breakfasts in the kitchen. I would highly recommend the apartment for 2 couples or a family of 4 or 5. Les mer

Ordered and payed extra for a "junior suite", which supposedly was bigger. Instead, all we got was a tiny, almost windowless room on basement level. When asking the staff, she pointed out that it was "equipped with a bathtub" which somehow earned it the right to be call a suite. Very thin walls, on the other hand very quiet neighbours. Location of this hotel was fab situated right at the top of the spanish steps and a short walk from the trevi fountain. I would reccommend an open top hop on hop off bus tour. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, not like a hotel more like someones house (although breakfast was not good). P.S there is a mini bar in the room but there was no details or prices and turned out very costly also do not use the shuttle service from the airport it was the worst part of our holiday. We had a terrible experience with this hotel. Not only is it difficult to find, but if you arrive late - good luck trying to find a phone close by to call them. The reception person is gone by 2pm, and doesn't speak much english. If you do book by Hotels.com, be sure to bring your confirmation with you because they will try to make you pay again, stating […] that you only reserved the room, not payed for it. The rooms themselves were nice looking. We had a two year old with us and the hotel failed to put a crib in our room - so since there was not hotel reception, we had to wait till almost 8pm for someone to come and set up a crib for us. The crib is stored in their storage room, and after the first night, my son woke us with strange little red bumps all over him, which when you touched he would cry out in pain. The following night, both my husband and myself developed one or two of these same "bites". Upon closer examination, they were bed bug bites! The breakfast offered was the worst I have had in all my stay in Italy. It consisted on a coissant and a coffee... so much for continental breakfast!! The breakfast was also served at a near by pub, not in the hotel, and on sundays, the pub doesn't open till 11am, so if you want to eat breakfast before you go out, you are stuck. The staff is supposed to turnover the room and replace any consumed goods (like coffee and juice that were offered in rooms free) but they didn't do this, so if you consumed them the first day, you had to go without. The hotel room itself was quite worn, chipping walls and paint, bathtub that doesn't have a proper door so the water sprays everywhere on the floor. The hotel is also in a residential area, so you have the locals yelling out their back doors till late at night. The location though was gold. It was within a two minute walk to the Spanish Steps and to go to see the other close sites was easy. This was the only saving grace of the hotel. 100 metres from the top of the Spanish steps and Metro station, this unusual hotel - more like living in someone's house than an hotel - was a real find. A well of cool relaxation in a hot Rome. If you are happy not to have normal hotel facilities - breakfast is in a nearby cafe - this as a very relaxing holiday stop.

I booked our trip quite late and the hotel I'd planned on staying in was booked, as were many others. I decided to give this one a chance as I liked the modern style and the location is literally at the top of Spanish steps so really primo. I booked two rooms, and it turned out that one was quite large, almost a suite, and the other was really tiny. […] Both had two twin beds which wasn't ideal as we'd have liked one double. One thing I didn't remember reading in the reviews, is that to get in you have to go through three different doors using a keypad to gain entry, then another door to your room. The hotel rooms are tucked away in the middle of a complex of buildings, so it's more like having your own apartment than staying at a hotel with a reception desk, etc. There are stairs to negotiate so this hotel is not for anyone with mobility issues. We had a great time. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. All was clean and fresh and the staff were polite. As they don't have a restaurant you check your selections off on a sheet and they bring it to you (croissants and coffee, etc) at the hour you choose. What we paid was a real bargain and less than I'd plan to stay, and I was very happy. The location was so central that we walked everywhere. I'd stay there again! Les mer

Just returned from a great trip to Rome - the hotel was extremely comfortable and well located at the top of the Spanish Steps. Service was great - breakfast in the room only - only slight reservation was the lack of variety in the food which after 4 days was marked.

We stayed 4 nights during December. The hotel is centrally located (near the Spanish Stairs) and is a walking distance to many attractions in Rome. The rooms are new, the room is not big but it is big enough for 2 people and is built in a nice modern way. Every section of the room is fully utilized. Breakfast is continental and served in the room. This is nice since you don't need to dress for breakfast. The area is quiet even though the hotel is in a central location. I told them Orange Juice would be great. As soon as I hung up the phone there was a knock at the door and it was Latita with a glass of Orange Juice. Their service was excellent and above and beyond normal. Thank you Latita and Nanning (weekend staff); You made our stay very comfortable.. Les mer

Jag är relativt nöjd med min vistelse på detta hotell. Rummet var tyst och rent och läget var jättebra, nästan precis på toppen av Spanska trappan! Dock stod det i beställningen att det ingick frukost alla dagar men jag fick bara en biljett till kaffe och croissant på en bar för EN frukost. Fanns mini kyl på rummet och nära till caféer, så frukost går […] att skaffa ändå. Ett minus är att man får världens största nyckelknippa att bära runt på hela dagarna (finns bara personal på plats på morgonen) även då man enbart använder en av nycklarna. Kommer ni till hotellet på eftermiddagen eller kvällen är det bäst att maila hotellet i förväg så någon finns där och kan checka in er. Det positiva med hotellet vinner ändå över det negativa. Die Lage ist wirklich super, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt definitiv nicht.Das Zimmer wurde zwar täglich gereinigt und das Bad war sauber, aber der Teppich neben dem Bett war sehr dreckig. Frühstück gibt es außerhalb des Hotels in einer einfachen Bar (Tasse Kaffee, Glas Saft und ein süßes Teilchen) - das bekomme ich an schöneren Orten für […] den selben Preis oder günstiger. Bis zum Zimmer muss man die Koffer über verwinkelte nicht überdachte Treppen tragen. Die Rezeption ist nur selten mit Personal besetzt,das Englisch spricht. Außerdem wird schon ab 8:00Uhr morgens laut im Flur gesprochen, was im Zimmer zu hören ist. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, hatte nur ein halb zu öffnendes kleines Fenster in den Hinterhof und weder einen Ventilator noch eine Klimaanlage für heiße Tage. Die Lage ist super nah an der Spanischen Treppe. Man kann zu Fuß die wichtigsten Orte erreichen. Außerdem ist die Station für die HOP-ON-HOP-OFF-Busse gleich um die Ecke. Das Zimmer war von der Größe her absolut ausreichend und das Bad mit Dusche wirklich schön gestaltet. Die Sanitären Einrichtungen funktionierten einwandfrei und waren sehr sauber. […] Naja, den Safe hätte man wegtragen können... haben wir (2 Freundinnen) nicht benutzt. Man muss auch sagen, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. Jedoch ist es eine sehr ruhige Lage, was die Lautstärke von außen angeht. Für das Frühstück bekommt man einen Bon für das Cafe unten an der Ecke (1 Getränk + 1 Croissant oder ähnliches). Lecker, aber Achtung: weitere kleine Tasse Cappuccino kostet 4,-€. Sonntag gab es Frühstück auf's Zimmer. Mit großer Tasse Kaffee, lecker! Kurz vor Reiseantritt wird man per Mail kontaktiert in der man nach der Ankunftszeit gefragt wird. Bei Anreise nach 14:00 Uhr (Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt# bekommt man einen Code genannt, mit dem man durch die Türe/n kommt. An der nicht besetzten Rezeption liegt dann im Umschlag der Zimmerschlüssel bereit - war sehr gut organisiert. Man muss also nicht vorher in das andere Hotel zum Einchecken, wie beschrieben!!! Also wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Ein absolut gelungener Urlaub #5-Tage-Trip) in einem sauberen, gemütlichen kleinen Hotel. Les mer

Die "Rezeption" ist nur bis 14.00 Uhr besetzt und das Personal spricht kein Englisch. Allerdings wird sofort im Stammhotel angerufen, wo man Englisch spricht und auch wirklich bemüht ist, zu helfen. Von dort wurde auch unser Online-Check-In vorgenommen, so dass wir dafür nicht extra nachmittags wieder ins Hotel mussten. Bei einer Anreise nach 14.00 […] Uhr muss man unbedingt vorab Kontakt zum Hotel aufnehmen (2-3 Tage vorher per Telefon oder e-mail) und am besten seine Handy-Nummer hinterlassen. Als wir später als angekündigt kamen und erst im Bahnhof "Termini" waren, bekamen wir einen Anruf, bei dem uns erklärt wurde, wie wir ins Hotel kommen. Infolge dessen lief unser Check-In reibungslos. Das Hotel (6 Zimmer = Außenstelle) liegt versteckt, die Zimmer sind klein (wahrscheinlich normal für Rom), aber absolut richtig für einen Rom-Trip. Es liegt ca. 100m von der Spanischen Treppe entfernt und es ist trotzdem absolut ruhig. Zum Hotel geht es mehrere Gänge abwärts und eine steile Treppe hinunter, von daher nicht geeignet für Gehbehinderte oder Familien, die kleine Kinder haben (Kinderwagen oder Buggy). Das Bad in unserem Zimmer war innenliegend (ohne Fenster) und hatte einen lauten Abzug, der mit dem Lichtschalter gekoppelt war. Das könnte evtl. nachts stören. Vorteilhaft war der kleine Kühlschrank, in dem man Getränke kühlen konnte. Les mer

Das Hotel ist gar keines, sondern eine Pension. Wunderbar gelegen oberhalb der "Spanischen Treppe", sehr ruhig in einer Seitengasse. Also perfekt geeignet als Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung Roms. Die Metrostation ist nur höchstens 3 Minuten entfernt. Entweder man läuft die "Spanische Treppe" hinunter oder man benutzt den Lift in der Nähe der Metrostation. […] Das Zimmer war einfach ausgestattet, aber sehr ansprechend. Es hatte ein Doppelbett, ein kleines aber tolles Bad (kleine Wanne). Da dieses Etablissement eine Pension ist, darf man wohl auch kein Frühstück im Haus erwarten, schon gar keines nach deutschem Standard. Dieses findet in einer Bar in der Nähe statt. Die leider etwas weiter weg entfernt liegt. Wir haben sie gar nicht gefunden und haben daher auf das Frühstück ganz verzichtet, da es sowieso nur aus einem Croissant und Kaffee bestanden hätte. Selbigen gibt es aber gratis als Instant im Zimmer. Wasserkocher, kleine Minibar mit (kostenlosen) Getränken sind vorhanden. Das Zimmer und auch die ganze Pension waren sehr sauber. Einen Ansprechpartner gibt es nicht immer. Für Paare, Freunde, Singles sehr zu empfehlen. Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis war sehr ok. Wir würden es wieder buchen. Les mer

Hotel is niet geschikt voor minder valide. Ligging is uitstekend, bij de Spaanse trappen en metrostation Spagna (5 min. lopen, via de Spaanse trappen) Bij laate aankomst moet je de receptie bellen om binnen te kunnen komen, hierna krijg je een code om binnen te kunnen komen. Ontbijt is buiten het hotel, maar dan krijg je overheerlijke koffie, jus 'd […] orange, en een croissant naar keuze. Les mer

cette résidence propose des chambres confortables, petit déjeuner se prend dans un bar à côté. quartier très sympa, à deux pas de la piazza Spagna et du métro. très calme et vraiment agréable... à recommander+++++
