Et koselig hotell som vi bestilte i siste liten til en veldig god pris. Det ligger i gåavstand til Tremini st og derfor et bra valg om du ser etter et billig hotell med god standard

This hotel is very small, with only 6 rooms. We had two double rooms at a very affordable rate. The rooms were just lovely, spacious and with really comfortable beds. Only drawback was lack of warm water, and a shower with very low water pressure (energy saving). Our rooms faced a quiet back yard with a wonderful garden. The hotel has a very central location if you arrive by train, and it is 5-10 min from to the metro stations Piazza della Repubblica and Castro Pretorio. Bra,rent og koselig hotell med hyggelig og behjelpsom betjening. Kommer til og anbefale dette til alle kjente som skal til Roma Det at det er små rom og det minste hotellet jeg noen gang har vært på, gjør bare opplevelsen bare endå mer spesiell. Husk og ta med de beste og mykeste skoene du har, siden det blir en del trasking, ligger ikke akkurat midt […] i sentrum men ca 10 min gange unnå, pluss at de beste måltidene jeg fikk var i dette området og ikke inne i turistkverna. Et veldig bra hotell. Ligger i 3. etg. i en bygning som ser ut som også inneholder private hjem. Når en kommer inn blir en møtt av flott service, fint og rent hotell og flotte rom. Overraskende bra for å være 2-stjernes. Hotellet ligger i gåavstand til Termini, og 2 minutter fra den ene undergrunnsbanen. The hotel offered a B&B experience with a very nice luxurious hotel room. The Townhouse hotel is located in a residential area not far from the central railway station so you initially think it would not be the best area. However, it's located near some of the city sights & many nice hotels and business as well as other typically Italian homes surround […] it. All the staff were very welcoming and made me feel as they were genuinely happy to see me every time we met. They made me feel like family visiting and not a guest. You are provided a key to the main door and a key card for entry into the Townhouse (which is located on the second floor), so you can come & go as you please. They offer breakfast only, but the restaurant located one block over has reasonably priced and "authentic" delicious italian food - hotel has a working agreement with this restaurant. The hotel staff can provide a menu order & deliver to your room (no extra charges) a service they offer to guests too "tired" or not willing to go out for a meal. But there are several nice places in this area to choose from if you desire. Free WiFi, but its only available in the sitting area. About 10 minutes walk from Termini. Location is good, but you won't find the hotel if you try to search for the palm tree on the photo ( a bit of misleading here). And when you see it's called suite, it doesn't mean you will get a suite. They have only one suite in the hotel (6 rooms in total???) and it really depends on your luck to get it. Extremely well presented bourique hotel - immaculate rooms and staff were very helpful - just one point, make sure you notify the hotel of any arrivals after 10pm as one of our rooms had been re-let as we didn't arrive until 11pm and hadn't thought to inform them. Even then though they made alternative arrangements for us for one night.

Very nice clean and tidy B&B. Staff were very polite. Bedrooms were cleaned everyday. Beds were big and very comfy. Breakfast was very nice and seemed fresh everyday. Location was very close to Termini - and lots of restaurants close by.

Booked for a mini break, stayed for 2 nights, really great location as only 5 minutes walk from Termini station (Rome's central train station and route from airport) Not like a traditional hotel, seems to be a converterd flat as you enter through an unassuming front door to a large hallway with different doors to unrelated flats and such, up two flights […] of stairs (no lift so just keep that in mind) and through the hotels main door is a lovely clean reciption, after arriving at 9:30 at night with lots of travelling the guy working was very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean, tidy, fairly spacious and contained all the bits you need (wardrobe, dressing table, etc) we also had a minibar which can normally be very pricey but a large can (500ml) of coke or fanta was only €1.50 and a bottle of wine €5.00. Great nights sleep on a comfy bed with extra duvets provided as it was feb and we went for breakfast (which was a surprise as it wasn't mentioned online and was free) nice selection of bits (continental style.) Great location, 5mins from Termini station - direct link to airport, and 5 mins from all the attractions On check-out we had booked a tour which we didn't want to take our bags with us on, so asked at reciption if we could leave them there and they were more than happy to take them until we returned. The staff were outstanding! Very helpful and friendly. They set up the room as a triple for only a very small charge. They took extra time to ensure we were comfortable, provided us tourist advice and weather forecasts, and they even loaned us umbrellas the day it rained. They found dishes for us to have a late snack, and even found a box for me to […] use to pack a picture I bought. The breakfast was quite sufficient, and we became addicted to their cappuchino machine! The room was cozy and perfect; the location was surprisingly quiet for being in a big city. The hotel consists of 6 guest rooms which overlook the garden of a neighboring convent; there is no street noise. The hotel desk is staffed only until 9 or 10 PM and by the chamber maid in the morning. You enter by the street door; the hotel is on the second floor of the multioccupant building. The elevator is forward and to the right as you enter the […] building. Your key set had a street door key, a card to get you into the hotel door itself, and a room key. The shower is a wonder of modern engineering, but works well in spite of that fact. The breakfast room is small but adequate for the number of guests. The coffee machine works well and you can quickly substitute a coffee cup for the plastic cup before the coffee starts; the chamber maid will show you how. We've had several hit or miss experiences with European hotels. Thankfully this one was a big hit. Great location near Termini Station. Less than 10 minutes walking distance to three metro stations, Repubblica, Diocletian Baths, Teatro dell'Opera, several great restaurants, etc. Room was larger than most, extremely clean, mini-bar prices were about […] what you would pay at a convenience store for the same things, stone tile floor bathrooms with great shower. Staff was amazing... we got a map and quick map overview on the first day that ended up keeping us busy for the entire week we were there, along with some restaurant recommendations. 20 minute walk to San Lorenzo and we even walked to the Colosseum once (took a while, but we enjoy walking). The caffe bar on the corner below has great cappuccino and serves drinks until after 2am, which was hard to find (and VERY cheap). Barbablu's restaurant down the road is delicious and reasonable (we ended up there three times). If we return, we would definitely stay there again. Couldn't ask for better for the price. Les mer

Be aware that this hotel is actually on just the second floor of an apartment building. There is no sign on the building so bring the address with you. Location is just a 5 min walk from the main station Roma Termini. However could be a tad bit difficult to find. The lift was ancient but did make us laugh. Morning breakfast buffet was alright. Rooms were of okay size with a good size bathroom. Aircon a little bit noisy.

Stayed for 3 days. Had a little power disruption for a day. Breakfast was so so, but the room was comfortable and clean. This is B&B so the staff at the front desk doesn't work all day. The entrance to the hotel is a little bit weird, and it's not immediately obvious that you're entering a hotel. Varied quality of staff, a couple of them were very helpful and went out of their way to assist us (a girl in the reception even made two phonecalls and printed us a map to help us find a place to watch a Euro 2012 match), but we also met […] some not-so-good service, when asking for a late check out, the receptionist tried to bargain us out of the room at 11-11.30, when the check out time of 12:00 is clearly defined on their website. The room is good, but breakfast is almost completely worthless, consisting of light wheat bread and poor packaged jam, nutella and so on, which they didn't even refill during or four night stay. Some things associated with the hotel were good and some were excellent. The best thing about the hotel was the service. Everyone there was helpful and attentive, always willing to answer any question and offer advice when needed. The room was comfortable but a little small. There are many restaurants close by, so we did not need to eat at the same […] place twice. Also, the breakfast was simple (I.e., not many choices) but was good. The location was slightly troublesome for a few reasons. First, there are strip clubs right next to the hotel, but we did not notice them much. Also, it was about a twenty minute walk to some of the main Rome attractions; however, this did not bother us too much as there are bus stops and metro lines within 5 to 10 minutes. The hotel which is more of a B&B was very nice. Had a complimentary breakfast which was a typical italian breakfast of cornflakes and pastries. Free wifi. For 2 nights of stay we had to change rooms the second night which was a bit annoying but not a huge deal. The biggest problem we had is that they give you key cards for entry to your room and to […] the hotel. We came back late one night and the key cards were not working at the hotel entrance. Another couple was there and we were able to call someone offsite as they dont have someone there 24 hours. They told us where a spare key card was hidden and it worked. Crises averted. Although some of the receptionists, don't speak English at all, they're still very friendly and polite. Overall, a very good bed & breakfast hotel. Metro is 5-6 minutes walk, although at that time we went, Metro was only open to public until 21:00 due […] to works in progress. The area is quiet enough, however for night strawls, you'll most probably need to call a cab which is not a very cheap solution. A national museum is 3 minutes walk from the hotel and it's worth visiting. Via veneto and some other points of interest are also a cigarette walk. A small hotel/residence within 15 minutes walk from Roma Termini (train station). We had the biggest room so felt quite roomy. The room is tidy although it could take good 10 minutes to get the hot water warm enough for shower. The interior is kept in a good shape and in fresh welcoming colour.The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel […] is only manned from 07:30 - 22:00 so could be a bit of a hassle if you need something done outside of these hours (although they left useful mobile numbers to contact). The (small) lift is located on the first floor so you still need to walk up the stairs first from the street-level floor with your luggage(s). Breakfast room can only accomodate 3 small tables so if you have something to do first thing in the morning make sure you're up early enough to get your table. The hotel provides us with loyalty (discount) cards at a nearby local restaurant which turned out to be 2 nights of great (Italian) dining experience. The minibar in the room, unlike in other hotels we have stayed so far, is priced like in a normal shop which is a bonus. By the way, we found out that there is a streaptease bar and an adult-movie theatre in the neighbourhood but otherwise the street is quiet at night and reasonably safe. Les mer

Hotel Capitolium, was a nice surprise. Rooms are brand new, large and very clean. Location just behind Termini station, is the most convenient to explore the city. if you are travelling on budget and you want to very nice room in the center this is the place to go!

We stayed there for 3 nights. It was a great choice for the location and services. It was on a quiet street, yet easy to get to the bus and train termini. The front desk staff were very helpful with the questions and requests. The room was very clean. We loved the beverage machine that you can make coffee and tea any time. A couple of night club or […] movie venues nearby were a concern at first, but did not pose any problems for us. We really enjoyed this hotel but there were a few things that were unexpected. First the reception desk closes between 12 and 2pm. Second the hotel is on the same street as adult video store/place. And third the rooms are in a building not a single standing hotel. But overall this is a really nice place to stay especially for the price.

The hotel is great. It's small and very home like. The breakfast was satisfying...simple but tasted good. The only issue we had was the water pressured in the showers was not good... The showers were really nice but the water pressure wasn't good. I'm not sure if this is a common problem in Rome because this was the first hotel we stayed in... The […] location of the hotel is perfectly placed between both subway lines and everything is accessible...The area is fairly nice and seems safe. It's close to several country embassies which have military security in the streets so crime doesn't seem like an issue. I didn't feel bothered walking with my two year old in this area--even at dusk. The hotel is perfect for families. They gave us a room with a couch bed for our son. It was in it's own area and he had his own small flat screen tv. Even though all cartoons were in Italian he was still occupied!
