God service. Rommet var lite, sengen var god. Ok bad, men vasken var inne på rommet. Det ligger mot en trafikert gate, men rommene på baksiden var stille.

Småpakker med frokostblandinger som jo kunne vært greit nok, var det ikke for melken. Hvitt usunt og usmakelig brød. Det stod en toaster der. De standard […] syltetøy minipakningene. De hadde noe frukt, men den forsvant jo fort tatt pga. det andre. Og kaffen var omtrent midt på treet. Men ellers hadde jeg ikke noe direkte å klage på. De kunne sikkert ha vasket vinduene utvendig iblant, selv om ikke utsikten hadde blitt noe bedre av det. Var der uansett bare en natt. La meg si at dette hotellet var absolutt å foretrekke fremfor Howard Johnson i sentrum, der fikk jeg rom uten vindu, men bygningen er jo slik laga, verre var det at de spurte meg om pinkoden til kredittkortet mitt!!!! + diverse andre ganske negative momenter. Jeg ville nok aldri blitt der mer enn en natt, men den var også forhåndsbetalt. Via flyselskapet dette (oppgitt her som tilhørende filial:) Park Hotel ligger ganske nær Condado Beach, og det var derfor jeg valgte stedet, i sentrum hadde jeg jo allerede vært. Les mer

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a good time in OSJ. This is a great little place to spend the night and get cleaned up, and is a short walk to a bus stop that will take you to OSJ for 50 cents. Parking is at the Carib Hilton garage. With your ticket validated by the front desk you pay a flat rate, when we stayed the parking costed […] $20/day plus taxes. Our room wasn't all that big, but it wasn't small enough to feel cramped. The King size bed in the suite was comfy and the sheets were clean. Everything in the hotel was kept incredibly clean actually. We had hot water in the shower and sink, and a small fridge. The fridge comes in handy because there isn't any vending machines, or room-service. There is however a subway that is about 50 steps from the front door of the lobby. Grab a footlong sub and keep half in the fridge for later. Amenities wise the hotel is lacking, but it is a very small place. The complimentary breakfast was passable: toast, cereal, danish, and fruit to eat and milk and orange juice to drink. The rooms were also very well cooled, to the point of even making it feel cold, which in Puerto Rico is a great feeling. One of our rooms was a suite which had a twin size bed that doubled as a sofa. Blankets for the twin were in the closet, no sheets though. My son was 3 when we stayed so we just folded the blanket in half and he slept inside the fold with his stuffed animals. I had a wonderful time visiting PR for vacation, and the staff here went out of their way to make the visit even easier. My only complain is that the room I had was on the side that was much noisier. I would have switched, but the other rooms were tiny compared to this one. Just be aware and bring noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs. There are […] constant traffic at all hours. Located on a noisy street. Breakfast was Spartan. Room was clean but bed cover was stained. Staff was friendly and hotel seemed updated. Not many dining options within walking distance. Changed reservations to arrive day later and rate increased 50%. Works for short stays. Best of all...no bugs.

The Hotel was clean and tidy but there was no restaurant or bar and the location was poor for alternatives. The self-service buffet breakfast was poor and we could not even get a glass of water. I would not use the hotel again.

Generally, our stay was very good. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very courteous, and most everything was better than we really expected. What we didn't anticipate was the street noise from below. I would certainly request an interior room (perhaps that would be quieter). We faced the street so the noise was a bit much. We realize the hotel […] has no control over this, but is is something we had not originally anticipated. Also, we made reservations for four. When I asked about the bed configurations (before we arrived) they told me there would be one king bed and one single. They told me that they would have an additional "cot" in our room to accommodate the fourth person. Basically, it was a roll away bed. It worked out fine and we all slept comfortably. We would stay here again, but as I mentioned before, we would certainly ask for an interior room to avoid the street noise. We came looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep after a long, late night flight that didn't cost a fortune. We weren't looking for any special amenities, just a comfortable and affordable place to stay. San Juan Park Hotel met those requirements. Les mer

The room was very clean. The daily maid service excellent. Bed was the ONLY negative about the hotel. It was VERY hard. The hotel is located in an apparently bad location. People kept saying, "Don't go out at night. It's dangerous!" There is a cop located at most corners all day and night to protect people going to and from the Caribe Hilton located […] nearby. Room was nice enough, but the bed was hard and the tile floors in the room were dusty/dirty (well they looked clean but if you walked around in bare feet or socks we found out how dirty they were). Wonderful big balcony but on a busy, noisy street. Very close to cruise port terminal. We found the front counter staff helpful in suggesting tours. Access to laundry facilities after 4 pm is a bonus. We would recommend this hotel to others for both price and service.

Great with kids, 10 minutes drive to Old San Juan, walking distance from decent beach. Rooms are very nice, on a loud road, but didn't bother us. We stayed here for two nights on the end of our trip and had a great time. The room is small, but very clean. The location was perfect for us as it was about 1-2 miles from old San Juan and about 7 miles from the airport. Down the street from the hotel is a bus stop that took us directly to old San Juan. We never waited very long at all and it is only 50 cents to ride. The hotel is also close to a beach.

Good hotel for the money. We stayed one night before leaving for a cruise. Very comfortable and clean. Beds a little hard, but no big complaint for one night. This was the second time we stayed and would recommend.

We needed one night in San Juan prior to our cruise. We booked this hotel after reading a number of very good reviews online. We weren't disappointed. Our room was very nicely decorated and extremely clean. Although not huge, just big enough. Good for one night before leaving on a very early flight. Fantastic staff. We broke an entire bottle of beer on the floor and two housekeepers were in our room within minutes to help us clean it up. We booked a suite with one king and 1 single bed. When we arrived, we found the single bed was a sofa without bedding. The front desk said he couldn't find any bedding and suggested we all share the king bed. I simply called hotels.com for a credit. The location map on Hotels.com isn't accurate. This hotel is a "hole-in-the-wall" surrounded by high-rise hotels headlined by Hilton. We had a hard time finding the place by Google directions and had to resort to calling the hotel and asking for directions. Location is formally "old town San Juan", but you'll have to walk at least half an hour to get to old town proper. We had a "suite" with queen […] bed and twin convertible sofa. The size of this room was pretty much standard hotel room - nothing suite-like about it. Tile floors look old and not so clean. We stayed for two nights and on the second day it appeared that the floors were not swept from some crumbs that we generated. Parking is around the corner in Hilton parking garage for $21, quite pricey I would say. The worst things were the old rickety windows and balcony doors. This place is right on the major street, basically three lane one way highway. So it was extremely noisy all night, with cars buzzing by constantly. Even my earplugs were not enough to filter out the noise. Staff was pretty much non-present. To my request to bring linens for the sofa-bed they nodded OK and as it turned out later just ignored it. To my repeated request they said that the linen room is closed for the night and the clerk has no keys. I suggest that you pay more and stay in a little more upscale modern place or pay less and get more value and probably still more comfort and quiet. Les mer

Wanted to stay close to old San Juan, location met that need. As far as amenities, no refrigerator, no in room coffee maker, no in room phone, no pool, hotel staff were helpful, but hotel was somewhat difficult to find, the beach that we walked to was very nice and we did all in all have a nice time.

Very enjoyable stay. Staff are very helpful, pleasant, accommodating Didn't love the continental breakfast of sugar, sugar and more sugar. They had some fruit tho. I found it too far to walk to most places I wanted to go. However, there are some lovely local beaches steps away and the bus stop is close. Our say was good. Two girls got mugged at gun point outside but we were safe. There was a cop on the corner who acted oblivious to the whole thing. If you are in need of a good room for a short stay is a good pick. The bed we had was hard and had that plastic bag thing going on. The power went out one night and the generator was loud, so were the guys […] shouting in the lower parking garage every morning. We found free parking close by and thre is a Subway right there! If you decide to stay here, do not get a room facing the front of the hotel. Stayed here with my girlfriend and we were awoken a few times by the garbage trunks early in the morning and also by loud people on the streets. We thought a balcony would be a plus, but its not if you're facing the front and on the 2nd floor. Only other complaint was the weird […] setup of the room - the bathroom sink was in the bedroom instead of in the bathroom. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful and we were at a good location between Old San Juan and El Condado area. Also, there is no street parking so you will have to pay to park your car. We were happily surprised by this hotel. While the room was quite small, it was incredibly clean, had great air conditioning, and was comfortable. Overall the San Juan Park Hotel is one I would recommend to my friends; the front desk was helpful and nice overall. The facilities were well kept and close enough to Old San Juan without the noise one would encounter in Old San Juan. The room was clean and comfortable and it had a nice wall mounted flat screen TV with dish TV. Every morning from 7 […] am to 10 the hotel offers free breakfast that consists of boxed cereals, fruit, prepackaged pastries, and beverages. My boyfriend and I took advantage of the breakfast since it helped us save a few bucks during our stay. They also have a washer and dryer available after 4 pm if you need it. San Juan Park Hotel is within a small walking distance of a car rental place, a convenience store, and a few different restaurants. Escambron Beach, an old fort, and park are close by also. Close to the park there are two bus stops if you rather take the bus into Old San Juan rather than walk or pay a taxi. The bus is 75cents each way and is air conditioned; if you decide to take the bus take the M3 bus and make sure to flag it down or else the driver would not stop. Other travelers complained about the water pressure, yes it not what I’m used to in California but it got the job done. I would be unhappy if the hotel had issues with hot water but the water pressure issue is trivial when one is having fun. Les mer

We stayed at the San Juan Park hotel before and after a cruise, totaling 5 nights. The hotel is quiet, small and a little worn, but overall is good. For the price - excellent. The rooms are very small, the Americans were a little unimpressed, but for us it was adequate. The staff were quite helpful, they know about most trips; the rain forest is definitely […] worth it! Breakfast is merely a few packaged pastries, milk, juice and boxes of cereal and fruit on the table, but there is coffee. Subway is next door too, for a breakfast omelette sub. The taxi fare from the airport is about $20, and there are plenty of taxis around. They can be expensive for going into Old San Juan, especially as the bus round the corner is only 75cents. Les mer

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a basic small room with a small fridge. They only two things we were uncomfortable with was that they photocopy your credit card and driver's license and put it in a file literally behind the clerk's back. That seemed like a non-secure storage method of such confidential & private information in view of identity theft […] possibiities. Also, the room was small but nice, however, It would have been nice to have just one small table in the room. There were no flat top surfaces to lay anything down. I liked this hotel. It suited my needs. The only thing that was missing was a desk and chair in the room that I had. Made it a bit difficult to check email and do work. Other than that, I think I got good value for money.
