"past its prime"
This is an older property on the older, sketchy side of Bozeman. Its billed as a rustic inn, but in reality, its just an old hotel in desperate need of a makeover. My room was on the third floor and was uncomfortably warm. The 1960's era AC unit didnt do much to make it any better. There are much nicer palces to stay in Bozeman

"pleased with Western Heritage"
We were passing through on a business trip. I chose this hotel based on pictures and full breakfast next to the cost. the hotel is very nice, staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a full breakfast, the beds were comfortable and the hotel and rooms had nice decorations. I was very impressed.

Good place. Good price. Poor breakfast.
Lodging was good. There were some guests that were noisy at a late hour, but the room and lobby were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was refreshing in that there was eggs, sausage, cold cereals and fresh waffles offered. We'll stay again if we need a room in the area.

"Our stay"
The room was fine, the problem we had is they were remodeling the lobby and there was no breakfast offered. We were notified a day before we left for Bozeman and were not offered any thing to off set the reduced service we received. We had selected this hotel because we could get breakfast and a king size bed. Disappointed they did not make any extra […] effort out side of saying they were sorry for the mess of remodeling. There were several things that didn't work in our room. The breakfast was just average and the overall experience was just average. The people working there were just there for a job, not great service...

This hotel is a very good value. It is clean and safe. The only drawback is the lack of an elevator. I was on the third floor, and lugging things up and down was not fun. Otherwise, it is a good place to stay when you are trying to save money.

"Wish other motels would do this"
What sets this motel in Bozeman apart from the countless others we've stayed in at that price range is that they use real dishes and silverware for breakfast. I'm so tired of seeing styrofoam that doesn't recycle or break down. Would gladly come back again for that reason, and the rest of our experience was just fine.

Desk clerk received our reservation late in the day and upgraded us from a king size room to one with a jetted tub for two. Hot and cold breakfast items were available from 6 AM to 9:30 AM. Overall experience was very enjoyable as I spend two to three weeks per year in hotels across the country.

The room was loud. It made noises from with in the room I could not identify. I think it was the refer. You could hear the next room like they were sleeping next to you, it was unnerving.

This was a great place for a decent price. I was worried at first but when I arrived and checked in I was impressed. Breakfast was really good. I will be staying here in the future when traveling to Bozeman.

Having stayed in a few chain motels, it was nice to get to Bozeman and stay in something different. Western Heritage Inn is quite reasonably priced but is a bit higher quality than other offerings. It's at the end of the main street through town, just in from the interstate, but close enough to walk downtown. The room was a good size and the furnishings […] were all quite new and in good condition. The bed was comfortable too. Bozeman is a little quiet around Labor day, but we had a pleasant evening here, trying a few local microbrews and a burger in the Rocking R Bar. Les mer

Friendly staff. They are slowly upgrading the rooms. They have a nice breakfast. It is a medium priced hotel. Bozeman is a pricey city for hotels. They have some really good expensive ones and some I would never stay at again. We have stayed here before and it suits us.
