Bra hotell til gunstig pris. Kort vei til alt, buss, shopping, havn, hovedgate. Store rom, ok enkel frokost. Mer enn godt nok om du ikke er ute etter det lille ekstra.

Utrolig imponter over service-innstillingen til betjeningen! De svarte på spørsmål, krysset av på kart, og fulgte opp med hvordan det hadde gått med shopping, finne frem osv i etterkant. Utrolig gjestfrie! Koselig hotell, relativt nyoppusset etter hva jeg forstod. Minus for ingen heis! ;)

Hotell sentralt i Abeerdeen- ideelt for shopping

Stayed one night in Aberdeen, and chose the Soprano Hotel because it is close to the railway station and the bus to the airport. It's a 3 min walk form the railway station, and the airport link departures from directly across the street from the hotell. The room was nice, the service at the hotel was friendly, and breakfast was very good and included. […] But obs: you have to be able to climb stairs if you are going to stay at the Sporanos Hotel. Vi ville booke på et sentralt hotell med god pris og frokost inkludert. Alt dette fikk vi ved å velge dette hotellet. Når i tillegg frokosten var god etter britisk målestokk og betjeningen var strålende, ja da er dfette et hotell vi absolutt kan anbefale for alle som skal på tur til Aberdeen. Det eneste en bør vite før en booker er at hotellet ikke […] har heis. Har du prblemer med trapper så ikke velg dette hotellet. For oss var det herlt greit og et ledd i den daglige treningen :-) Absolutt ikke noe stort problem, men ok og vite. Vi anbefaler dette hotellet på det sterkeste. Les mer

Triveleg hotell med flott service og hyggeleg personell. Enkel frukost, men servert med eit smil. Hyggleg bar/restaurant i underetasjen.

The hotel is conveniently located by the harbour in Aberdeen, close to the train and bus station. While the hotel has a confusing entrance and the reception service is mediocre, the comfort of the room improves the overall impression. Lack of free Wi-Fi does not. Friendly staff in a hotel perfect for sightseeing and shopping in the old part of Aberdeen - situated right across the street from the train station and the bus station. Express bus to the airport also has its final stop there. The breakfast was very nice and delicately served - nothing fancy, but what we like to eat in the morning - cereals, yoghurt, […] toast, egg and bacon etct. HEi ! Sentralt plasert og venlige folk. Stilig ,old style byggning. God frokost i pen resturant . Mange puber og sentral handlegate rett ved.

The only thing good about the location was the short distance to the Union Square shopping mall. The corridors, stairs etc. needs refurbishing, rooms were OK but small, no lift. Needs new water heater, as it took 1/2 hour to get hot water in the tap. Breakfast on a weekday did not start till 7 AM so had no chance to sample.

Ikke forvent å få sove på dette hotellet, veggene er tynne som papir, store glippe rundt døra som slipper inn både lyd og lys og stor trafikk utenfor hele natta. Betalte ekstra for å få med frokost, det anbefaler jeg alle å la være! For når jeg kom ned en halvtimes tid etter frokosten var startet så var det tomt!

Dette hotellet ligger nær jernbane og bussterminal. Er derfor lett å komme til og svært nær havnen. Et sjarmerende hotell med hyggelig personell. Renhold og matservering var helt o.k. Vi fikk et lite problem da en av oss har en hofteoperasjon nær forestående. Med rom i 3. etg. ble 52 trappetrinn i meste laget når distansen skulle forseres flere ganger […] daglig. Vi hadde sikkert fått bytte rom, men når man først er etablert og man liker det rom man har fått tildelt tok vi heller problemet med trappene. Kan ikke huske at det var notert i beskrivelsen at der ikke var heis(?) Dette bør i så fall komme bedre frem slik at personer med gangvansker styrer unna dette hotellet. Bra overnattingssted, med nærhet både til buss, jernbane og et kjøpesenter med de butikker og restauranter man trenger.

Low price hotel but the service and atmosphere was like a 5-star. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very good english breakfast and nice breakfast room. Pub in the same room in evenings. We did not try the restaurant but have heard that it is supposed to be very good.

Siste døgnet før hjemreise fra Skottland ble tilbrakt her, da flyet gikk tidlig fra Aberdeen morgenen etter. Det var en generelt høy standard på dette hotellet, men siden dette var et midlertidig kort opphold rakk jeg ikke å bli så godt kjent med det. Fordelen var at det lå nær togstasjonen, og det passer derfor bra for folk på gjennomreise, eller for […] folk på forretningsreise, noe som jeg også tror er hovedkategorien mennesker som besøker dette hotellet. Very close to bus and train station. Makes getting to airport or day trips very easy. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. The room size is what you would expect. Would stay again.

Stayed in room 31 and after navigating to what seemed a maze through to the the 3rd floor with no elevator, room was pleasant enough. No double glazing so the road noise was apparent, the shower took a while to get hot, the TV was no bigger than my laptop screen but on the basis that I was staying only one night. It did the job. Breakfast was superb […] and location is 3 minutes away from Union street, the place to be for after hours so all in all it did a job. Les mer

Great location. Very Friendly staff. No elevator. Problems with heating and hot water/shower equipment. No free wi fi access as advertised,only chargable.

We were quite overwhelmed at the heat of our room, and were quite disappointed when we were told there was no way to control it (but it should get cooler in the evening). It was difficult to sleep in the stifling heat and windows were not able to be opened. (fire hazard anyone?). The shower was hot/cold and despite the low, med. and high controls, the […] only rate was low. The beds were wonderfully soft and luxurious, but hard to enjoy when we were so uncomfortable in the heat of the room. We were also a little embarrassed at the choice of art in our room, and actually felt the need to take the picture down during our stay. We appreciated that it was near the train station, but were unable to find any choices (other than the hotel restaurant) at which to eat. There were only three patrons, us and the unruly drunk man at the bar. Awkward. Breakfast was quite nice and tasty. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Les mer

Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Very heavy traffic noise all night and the room next to me had an adjoining door which was not very soundproof as I could clearl hear that rooms tv. However it served its purpose and is very handy for the station and probably will use it again.

Very close to city center and train station. nice and rooms. Pity there's no lift. Receptionist not always there (sometimes waitressing in the bar below), but when there very helpful and friendly, especially Linda.... Pity the WIFI is quite slow and not included.

Good night's sleep. Large upgraded room given so I did not have to climb too many stairs as requested. Polite service on desk. Wasn't booked for breakfast so can't comment on that. Was so incredibly handy for bus and boat, and all very comfortable. Would definitely use again as was cheap!

Good location. room wasn't the warmest our room was on the 3rd floor. shower didn't work it was like a dripping tap. managed to have a hot bath. friends on the 2nd floor had no problems.

One night stay in December, Room was COLD - you could see your exhaled breath. Choice of Food for Evening Meal very restricted if you didn't want/like Sea Food. To gain entrance requires navigation through the Passengers waiting at the Bus Stop immediately outside the Single Front Door. I was eventually allocated another Room, at my request, although […] I was given an electric Heater from the Reception Area. Receptionist did try to get the Heating Issue resolved without any success. Restaurant not under the control of the Hotel - franchised out. Hot Breakfast was served on a COLD PLATE and did not match what was ordered. Les mer

Best value in Aberdeen I reckon - nice room, nice place, very good restaurant (with resident discount), and even cooked breakfast included in the price!

A fair hotel for the price. Unfortunately, breakfast took so long I was late for my meeting (there were only x3 other guests eating, not a busy day). Also, the towels were tiny and there were no shower gels/shampoo. Not a big issue, but it seemed like they were skimping on everything, so the overall feel wasn't one of comfort. Hotel room was very clean with evidence of recent upgrading. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cannot comment on food as ate out every night. Very convenient for railway, bus station and city centre. Only issue is that due to its central location there is a very busy main road at the front and a busy bar to one side so late night noise at closing time […] and traffic early morning can be a bit loud. The hotel is perfectly situated, 2 minutes walk from the Train Station, literaly 30 seconds from the Airlink bus stop, and very handily situated for Aberdeens shopping and restaurants. It's classily decorated, comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The bathroom was large and clean. The only down sides were that you had to clamber over […] the bed to reach the window, and the hotel's self-written guide to the local area came across as smug and too self-conciously humourous to be useful (a more simple direct approach would have been more helpful to choosing where to spend the evening). Nevertheless, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would fully recommend it for the independant traveller. Les mer

We were heading around Scotland and needed a stop between Inverness and Edinburgh. Abrdeen is the Granite city.. Not much of a tourist spot. Hotel is located in busy area of city.. Lots of teenagers running around at night but room was quiet. Large shopping mall across the street. Real close to train station. Hotel restaurant was a little expensive […] but got 10% off coupon for staying there. Small TV withlimited channels.. Our room was very nice tho. Large bed. couch.. good sized bathroom. Maritime museum is nearby. Didn't go there but would have with more time. Would go back if need a place to stay in Abrdeen.. Les mer

My second visit to Aberdeen so in comparison to my visit this hotel was of better value for money and the service of staff/restaurant food was very good. It is located very close to the train station so it was an excellent choice for me. The only draw back was no hot water. I had to have a cold shower in the evening and morning. Not a problem in summer […] but I wouldn't recommend in winter. Les mer

The hotel is ideally situated more or less straight across the road from Union Square and the train station. I found the room to be very basic and in need of updating. Was a bit disappointing that we had ordered a double room and were given two beds pushed together. Staff were very friendly.

great wee hotel - the only thing missing was the toileteries from the bathroom - if you are hand luggaging this is a tad annoying as the hotel doesnt provide them so be prepared to bring your own little bottles or you end up going to th 24hour shop round the corner!

Choose this hotel for it's low price. The hotel itself was absolutely fine- a little dated in it decor in places perhaps. The room itself was pretty neutral and inoffensive and fairly clean (but of dust build behind and under the bed and in the nooks and crannies). En suite with shower and plenty of hot water. TV with standard list of digital channels […] available. There was wifi available but you had to pay. Room also had an iron (although no ironing board, which seemed a little strange). Did get a 10% discount in the restaurant attached to the hotel and the food there was nice so certainly worth the visit when getting a discount. Les mer

Clean and friendly but badly in need of an overhall !! No access to parking although NCP parking reasonably close at a cost of £15.00 24 hour stay Has the potential to be a great place to stay good location and really pleasant staff

We found our stay very comfortable at the otel, loved tha it was so central, a couple of minutes walk away fom Union Street and all its amienities. However, we were on the very top floor about 4 flights of staires up, and there is no lift so lugging the bags up to our room was tough work. Thankfully I had a man with me to do this, but there didnt appear […] to be a porter available if you needed assistance. The breakfasts were very good, we didnt have dinner there. The bar in the hotel only opened for a few hours each evening and was closed hortly after 10 which we found strand, but there was a nice little local around the corner. Staff were nice, especially the black haired girl that directed me to many specific shops that I sought, and the night porter. The hotel in general was nice, as our stay enjoyable but I would urge people to bear in mind if they are booking to ask for a room on the 1st floor unless they are super fit! Les mer
