Kibo Palace Hotel - Arusha

We stayed in Kibo Plalace for 2 night. We arrived late at night and hotel arrange our pick up from airport.Stuff are very friendly.Good food.Nice swimmingpool. We enjoyed our stay and i will defenetly reccomend this hotel to my friends. I was one of the best hotel i ever stayed in Africa.Thank you.

Room was ok, but would have been better if sound-proofed from noise from busy street outside. Nice gardens and swimming pool area. Breakfast only so-so but would definitely recommend restaurant for a la carte meals.

The hotel is in reasonably good condition and is in the heart of Arusha. The bar and restaurant service wasn't great though and the food was very average. I found the service in Arusha in general was quite poor (we also stayed at the Arusha hotel and found staff there to be unattentive and bordering on rude) so I think it's a problem with the location […] in general not this particular hotel. The hotel is fine as a base for a safari, but i wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night. Les mer

I wanted a place to retreat to as I began my Xmas holidays and this was the perfect place. I stayed at the Kibo palace Hotel for two nights and I had a very enjoyable time. The rooms were nice and spacious and very CLEAN which I really appreciated. That said, the bathrobe in my room was dirty but the cleaner changed it for me almost immediately which […] I was impressed with. I arrived at the hotel very hungry and ordered room service and the food arrived within the 20 minutes I was told it would take. My meal arrived hot and was very tasty. The food at breakfast was also great with a wide selection of things to choose from and I especially enjoyed all the fresh juices. I also had the buffet dinner on my last night there which again was a delight. A great selection of foods to try and with 6 different kinds of desert, suffice it to say, I left the Kibo Palace Hotel a few kilos heavier but, with no complaints from me. Les mer

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Kibo Palace. The staff was so welcoming from the minute we arrived until we checked out. We spent the night here before returning home following our African Safari. The hotel and grounds are lovely. There is a beautiful swimming pool, and a large fitness center (free), and free wi-fi in the room. We ate dinner […] and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and had fantastic meals. Both the restaurant manager and the hotel manager stopped by our table to inquire if we were happy with our stay and our meal. We felt so comfortable and secure there - we even discovered that two government ministers were staying at the hotel at the same time - I think we even spoke to them at breakfast, before knowing who they were. We would recommend the hotel to anyone planning to stay in Arusha. Les mer

After a three week visit to Tanzania, we came to Kibo Palace for a rest before embarking on the long plane ride home. The room was European style (would have liked a little more artwork of Africa here), quiet and very clean. The hotel boiler was out of order so no hot water and our telephone didn't work, but hotel service was amazing; they switched […] our room immediately. The lunch buffet and breakfast buffet offered lovely selections with live music at lunch. All was quite plush. Internet was free if we had brought out own computer, but a modest charge gave us access via the computer room. Staff was courteous and professional. We enjoyed our short stay. Les mer

I was travelling to Arusha on my own for a three day visit . The hotel was conveniently situated , very comfortable with an nice outdoor space for enjoying the garden . I would definitely stay there again . Asante sana

We mostly got what we expected from a comparatively upmarket hotel. One aspect which was somewhat disconcerting was the tendency for staff to knock and then after a few seconds enter the room! This happened on three occasions. The person who brings the complimentary candy on the first night knocked while my wife was in the shower and I was undressed […] waiting for the shower. She knocked then used her 'key' to come in!! This happened the next night too but I pushed the door shut as she was opening it. The third occasion was on the last morning - check out time was 10am so we were just waiting in our room and at 9.30am a staff member #a different one# knocks then enters with her key wanting to remove the sheets and pillow cases. Why this couldnt have waited half an hour I am not certain. But it was annoying and another unnecessary invasion of privacy. Les mer

Very satisfied with the hotel and its restaurant for overnighting before and after the safaris. Arusha is the starting point for the Northern circuit safari, a city full of fiber cement rooftops...

Horrible place to stay for business travelers. Wifi keeps dropping and you have to enter the user Id and password a million times. Pathetic food and even worse service.

Had a wonderful evening at the Kibo Palace Hotel, The porter Shimira is a really pleasant guy and we shared a couple of precious moments with him speaking Swaheli, The front desk was also extremely efficient and helpful. Thanks for making our stay in Arusha a memorable experience

Eine echte Oase in der hektischen Stadt, die wenigen "Sehenswürdigkeiten" Arushas sind fußläufig erreichbar (z.B. "Clocktower", Nationalmuseum). Es ist sauber und das Personal nett. Es gibt Fitness und Massage. Restaurant war auch gut, Frühstücksbuffett mit ausreichend Auswahl. Für einen Zwischenstopp in Arusha ein idealer Ort.

Hotellet er pænt og betjeningen venlig. Ligger ikke langt fra by men pga fare for overfald anbefaler receptionen at man tager taxa til byen.

החדר נקי מרווח ומסודר , השירות יעיל וטוב גם בקבלה גם במסעדה וגם בחדר . מיקום המלון טוב קרוב למרכז העיר יש חניה גדולה במתחם המלון . נהנינו מאוד מהשהות במלון .
