The Guesthouse on Allen Street - Dallas

Very nice place. One room only - like a bed and breakfast - but much more private. Very nicely decorated, and a nice outside patio/garden area with a fountain. Very secure. Located in trendy area with lots of nice restaurants within wlaking distance.

My wife and I had a wonderful first two nights of our honeymoon. The breakfasts were delicious and the owners were very kind. When we asked directions to a certain restaurant, the owner drew us a map and then went and printed out directions for us using google maps. Beautiful private room with a great private patio. Great location in the State-Thomas neighborhood! Walking distance to restaurants and Mckinney avenue. Breakfast was provided daily and was delicious.

This room is in a clean safe atmosphere close to bars and night life. We have stayed here 3 times and it has been great each time. Very clean up scale room with a COMFORTABLE king bed and fireplace. This is a romantic-elegant gem in the uptown area. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at such a good find through Expedia! The owners were sweet, warm and surprised us with a heart shaped breakfast plate for our anniversary breakfast!!!

If you are looking for a quaint hotel, you should check this place out. There's only room, which was a bit of an adjustment but it was very nice and comfortable. The service was good and overall it was quiet. The only complaint I had is that on a few rare occasions I could hear someone in the house above me, but it wasn't bad enough to be seriously […] disturbing. I'd say the biggest perk is the made to order breakfast. I got the impression that the chef was flexible on what to prepare so if you're picky, this is probably the place for you. Les mer

This was my first time I ever stayed in a B&B, chosing it for its location to my son's Uptown apt. (I normally stay at one of the big quality name hotels.) I could not have been more please with the quality of my stay, equally matched by a reasonable price. The breakfasts, which are included with the price of the room, were really outstanding... and […] they are served in your room or, on a nice day, in the private courtyard right outside your room. With a private entrance, very good security, exceptionally large room and courtyard... and really delicious and overly filling breakfasts, you get more than your money's worth. And let me add that within a mile, an easy walk through a nice neighborhood, is the Art's Center and a number of great eating establishments, including a number of Dallas' best. I couldn't recommend this Guesthouse more highly and certainly hope it's available whenever I travel to Dallas in my future. Les mer

We booked the night for my daughters wedding night. The couple loved it - very comfortable. Surrounding area filled with restaurants and clubs. Would highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the accommodations during our stay at the Guesthouse and the owners couldn't be nicer. They served us a wonderful breakfast for the two days we were there. It really is like being a guest yet having the privacy of being at our own place. We will definately be going back!

Beautiful room with library and fireplace, VERY SNAZZY and high class! Beautiful landscaping in the courtyard and great view of buildings at night. They asked us what time we would like breakfast, at that exact time in the morning what a wonderful suprise! A wonderful location with easy access to downtown and the Arts District. The room is like your own private oasis, but with all the nightlife you would want just a few steps away. I love this place.
