Red Roof Inn Lake Charles - Lake Charles

Very nice hotel. Rooms are large and clean. Microwave & fridge in room. Breakfast included. - Waffle iron and pastries, coffee. quite nice. Staff is very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean throughout, but no coffee maker in room was a disappointment, as was the breakfast (only fruits offered were mealy apples; only whole [no skim] milk). Price was good and it was a perfectly safe and comfortable place to sleep.

The hotel was quiet and very clean. The only negative was the beds were a little soft, but everything else was excellent. The staff was very friendly and polite to my students. The breakfast was much better than we expected with plenty of food. The only draw back was the location was not in walking distance from down town, but the city is small and […] we were only 15 to 30 minutes at most from any place in town. A good hotel to stay when you're just stopping through a city

Stayed in December for three nights and was very pleasantly surprised. The room wasn't huge, but it was more than amply-sized and easily on par with brands like Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn. Cost was reasonable and although the location wasn't right near any restaurants, etc., anyone staying here would have a vehicle anyway and there were excellent […] dining choices only a few minutes away. Very nice hotel, friendly staff, Need better signage off the interstate.

Wish the place was a little closer drive to the casinos, but everything else was excellent.

After a long day of traveling, was happy to get to a hotel to get some rest. Little did I know that i would spend my evening purchasing Roach spray. Also i traveled with my dog, and was told by Hotel front desk, i couldn't leave my dog in the room unattended, not even to go to the lobby to enjoy my free breakfast. Completely stupid!!! Smelled funny in lobby; breakfast ok; note left on bed was dirty on back side so you could tell it was used many times and with that being said it made you wonder what else was not clean. All in all OK but would not recommend.

This hotel compared to a La Quinta would be very low ranked. The continental breakfast that was provided was only a waffle, toast and stale cearl that had been left out overnight. (I know this because my first stay at the hotel I left somethihng in the car and as im leaving out the elevator I noticed the cearl still left on the counter. This hotel was […] missing features that are overlooked most the time at other hotels that I greatly wish Red Roof inn would have invested in. Most importantly... sheer curtains to be able to let light into the room without having to turn on everylight in the room. The bed slept peacefully however with the breakfast not being up to part, I rated the hotel a 3 our of 5. it wasn't that bad but it could have done a lot better. Great customer service though. The front desk personnel when we checked in during the night time was very friendly and made it hassel free when checkin in and out of the hotel. Les mer

Good value for the money. Don't expect an extensive breakfast offering, but the coffee was good.

Long road trip-stopping each nite in different hotel-stayed here 1 nite on the way and 1 on the way home. Just needed a bed and a shower in a clean room- This Red Roof provides those. First nite the desk clerk was very helpful.

A bit out of the way, but it was where we wanted to be that night. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I found the staff delightful. Friendly and I think they went out of the way to be helpful. I would go back.

The hotel is fairly new looking and it's pretty comfortable inside.
