Overall, the Hampton Inn stay was what I expected. The room was clean, the breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. My only complaint is the maid never delivered clean hand towels and wash clothes during our stay. The front desk took care of this problem. A quick note: Pressing the front desk button on the phone will give you a busy signal and […] will not connect you to the front desk. When I asked the front desk why this button does not connect to the front desk I was told you must "press 0" to reach the front desk. So why have a FRONT DESK button on the phone? "Jr bowling tournament"
Rooms were real clean and nicely prepared, beds were extremely comfortable. The kids had a great time at the pool, the exercise center was full of new equipment to use. The breakfast was a nice surprize with the hot items available and the coffee bar was great! Cannot say enough about our stay it was a nice experience.

We were very satisfied with the Hampton Inn in Irondequoit, NY. Loved the breakfast, especially the oatmeal and fresh fruit. Check-in personnel not personable, seemed indifferent. I was already feeling unwelcomed throughout the check-in process, but then when I asked about restaurants in the area, I got a clear-cut confirmation of the indifference. The directions were vague and no map was suggested or provided. When we got back, I found out from other personnel that he directed […] us in the wrong direction. This is worse than saying I don't know. He could have asked the co-worker standing next to him who wasn't busy. Very clean hotel. Staff was helpful and courteous. Parking was plentiful. Numerous and a great variety of Resturants located nearby.

Very nice staff. A newer Hampton with the much nicer breakfast area. Location is convenient to Rt. 104. A good place to stay if you're visiting this part of Rochester. Not a great location for "things to do." Overall a good Hampton.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean common areas. Clean and comfortable room. Left a note when I left the room for the day that the bathroom light needed changing and it had been taken care of when I returned. No Internet in individual rooms but available in the lobby Internet room. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Friendly staff, similar to any other hampton inn basically. Like many other reviews said the walls seemed thin to me, I had to listen to my iPod at night to block out noise, but I am a very light sleeper. The staff was very helpful in getting a lost item back to me.

When you can hear the guy in the next room using the bathroom and coughing, the walls are too thin. The use of metal latches on the doors without rubber stops made EVERY door aorund us extra loud even for a modern hotel. Shower faucet was 1 cm off the mounting exposing the pipe which also made it difficult to adjust the water. Hooks were also coming […] off the back of the door. They actually had more than one, which seems to be rare these days. Pool and fitness facility were very nice and actually quite clean, plenty of towels and the staff could periodically be seen emptying the hamper. Hotel is wonderful! Beyond clean! Staff are really friendly especially Lauri, Michelle, Melinda, Wendy, Joe M. Rooms were fresh smelling and fridge and microwave in room were so clean I thought they were brand new. Wifi in rooms and also in business centre. Breakfast was great! So much variety. Hotel didn't look like much from the outside but rooms had recently been refurbished. Breakfast was better than most hotels, with a hot egg dish and a meat dish in addition to the usual waffles, cold cereals, muffins, bagels, etc. Rooms were very quiet. Perfect location for getting around Irondequoit, Webster and downtown. Easy access to expressway and best of all right across the street from Rubino's and next door to Pasta Villa. Staff was ultra friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet and the bed was comfy.

The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. The hotle is clean, quite, and well maintained. There is a shopping center and a number for restaurants within walking distance. The only complaint I have is that housekeeping forgot to refill the soap on my last night. Otherwsie everything waqs perfect.

At the last minute, my wife and I decided to extend a post-Xmas family visit in the Rochester area with a visit to the Rochester Planetarium. This Hampton Inn served our purposes perfectly for a great price via hotels.com! We all enjoyed the pool and free breakfast during our brief stay.
