Helt greit og fint hotell. Meget serviceinstilt personell, rengjøringen kunne vært et hakk bedre. Greit med gratis transport til og fra sentrum.

Overall are good!I feel that the hotel not bad for family gattering but a bit far to Patong beach but luckily the hotel provide shuttle bus.For those never been Phuket bfor then u must take the shuttle bus to patong.

this is a well managed hotel, in a very good location. the rooms are very clean , and the meals are good value and well cooked.the staff is friendly and helpful we spent 10 days there. we enjoyed our stay and would reccomend

This is the quiet section of Patong. Room was clean. Variety at breakfast was great. Great restaurants close by in either direction along the beach. Both fancy and local Thai. Pool area was pleasant.

We stayed here in Jan 2009 and the place was spotless, but we spent x-mas 2012 here and it has really been a let down as far as the cleanliness goes. It was not the worst I have ever stayed in but for the price I think it shouyld have been a whole lot better. We wont be back ( sorry to say) Also we dont eat meat so our breakfast was very limited, eggs […] and beans on toast.On the plus side the free shuttle to Patong is great and very handy. Les mer

Hotel seems a bit run down, needs a renovation, staff try hard, food was good to excellent. Bit too far out of Patong for my liking, might suite others more. Beach across the road is no much.

What an absolutely wonderful experience ! We were treated superbly and always made aware of activities running in and outside of the motel. You can't beat the superb view from our verandah...sunrises and sunsets over the beach and waters only 10 steps in front of us. The beach was quiet and peaceful with no hustle and bustle from the main Patong beach, […] and live slow music while we ate out dinners at the motel. value for money hotel. rooms could do with a vacuum more often but every other aspect of the room and hotel was very good and clean. internet very slow, expensive and did not work properly. all other aspect of the hotel were very good. free bus service available to patong 9am-9pm was excellent and very handy saving us lots of money. restaurant was great […] with a good selection of foods available and breakfast buffet was excellent. hotel was handy to all must-see sights and at the same time, away from all the noise and traffic of patong. hotel service was friendly and most staff went out of the way to help. overall a great experience, and recommend it without hesitation. We stayed at Sunset Beach from August, 18th to 25th, decided to book it after having read positive feedback from guests who stayed there previously. The first disappointment started even before the arrival, when, upon our request about possible means of transportation from the airport they only cited the price of their pick up service without explaining […] if there were any alternatives. We didn't use their option and got there by a shared minivan from Phuket airport. When we arrived, it was late in the evening and it was raining heavily. However, nobody came to help us with luggage, not even about speaking of such a simple gesture of courtesy as bringing out an umbrella. The receptionist was dry, poker-faced,didn't say any word of greeting, as neither of the hotel staff did throughout our entite stay. The elevator didn't work for a few days and the door boy said it was common... The room smelled urine, had dirty bedsheets with a foot imprint at the head part, worn out, fringy with age towels and the AC that went to 25 degrees warm in the morning even after having been set to 21( as low as it could go) at night, so mornings were pretty sweaty. The breakfast food was very average, drinks less than average, if not say disgusting. For example, for tea they won't even give you an individual tea bag! We had great time in Thailand and found Thai people rather warm, nice and helpful. The worst staff we saw in Thailand was at this hotel. Will never return and will not recommend! Les mer

I was very satisfied about my stay there for about 2 weeks . its not far from Patong and a bit more quiet. Its easy to reach surrounding beaches renting a scotter or taking a tuk tuk taxi .Internet wifi is cheaper is you take the 4 days rate (800 bhat)so i think it worth it. The swimming pool is hudge and quiet and well maintened .The food is excellent, […] tasty and international. I tried a few things and was very happy. My overall experience at the sunset Beach Hotel was excellent, marred only by a few incidents. Check-in was very stressful as I was asked for documents I did not have to hand and a large deposit on my credit card, which was unavailable at the bottom of my luggage. The staff spoke very little English which made things much harder - admittedly I speak […] no Thai but I expect a certain level of language competence in a tourist hotel of this size attracting international business. The biggest problem of all was the poor internet access. The hotel charges a huge amount for wifi access (£11 for one day; £20 for four days as at Feb 2012). The signal was virtually inaccessible in my room; I wasted many hours trying to get a connection and carrying my laptop down to reception and back to prove my point. Other guests also had problems. As a non-technical person I had no idea what to do. Eventually my pleading (and a handwritten letter to the manager on Day 3) won me a transfer to a different room where the signal worked but often struggled to handle more complex websites. On the plus side, all but one of the staff were unfailingly friendly and courteous, for all that they had little power to do anything. Attention to detail, especially in the breakfast restaurant, was superb. The pool and associated facilities were excellent. The standard-cost room was large and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the aircon very efficient. Les mer

The first impression was that the hotel needed more than a touch up, furniture were very old and walls and floors looked torn. Pool was green around the edge of the surface of water which looked discusting. The "gym" consisted of a smelly room with a treadmill some weights and two malfunctioning machines. Very disappointed with my stay here.

The hotel was in a perfect position - and having a beach directly opposite the hotel was a bonus. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and very helpful. Hotel food was great. The tuk tuk shuttle service to Patong was reliable and safe. This was a perfect holiday with a young child.

As this was our first trip overseas we didnt quite know what to expect. After talking with other holiday makers we will never stay here again. There were some staff that were GREAT but most werent. In saying that, i was very upset as to how some of the other guests were towards the staff. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, we travelled with 3 teens, they loved the pool area and the internet cafe ,just down the alleyway. Get your laundry done around the corner from hotel, very cheap. Restaurant at hotel was well priced & food was good.

깨끗하고 직원들이 친절하고 좋았으나 와이파이 사용료를 따로 지불해야 하는 불편함이 있었다. 현지 씸카드로 인터넷을 사용하는게 훨씬 저렴할 정도로 와이파이 사용료가 너무 비싸다.

The stay was ok. What you pay you received. The swimming pool very nice. In spite of the name "Beach Resort" the beach is behind the road and not too atractive. If you want beach, you must take taxi/hotel bus to Pathong. Breakfasts very similiar every day. Good service - nice people. If you want beach relax better select other hotel e.g. Tri Trand Beach […] Resort. If you want citi/night life - better chose sth c loser to the citi. If you want nice swimming pool and option of every 30 minutes transfer to the citi (10-15 minutes comuting time) + pay lower price, the Sunset beach resort is ok. Les mer

The receptionist is not kind. Room condition is soso. Not clean. But breakfast is good and shuttle service to patong is very nice. Pool was also good.

Les points négatifs : Une des deux chambres avait une vue sur ... un MUR !!! (nous ne sommes pas restés longtemps donc n'avons pas demandé à changer de chambre) L'hôtel donne sur la mer mais il n'y a pas de plage à proximité (c'est comme une falaise). L'hôtel est très grand, il est difficile de repérer sa chambre, c'est très mal indiqué. La climatisation […] est mauvaise (2 clims séparées, 1 pour la chambre, 1 pour le salon) L'hôtel est très mal situé, c'est loin du centre-ville/commerces (Patong) malgré le fait qu'il y a p-e une navette gratuite. personnel de l'hotel ne parle pas un mot de francais pas de traduction en francais sur tous les descriptifs ( menu, carte, presentation, excursions etc ) donc probleme de comprehention

サンセットビーチの名前と場所で宿泊したがスイートなので部屋は広いがかび臭く中庭に面しているためサンセットは見えなく中２階のためバルコニーは正面の部屋から丸見えです。 歯ブラシ、髭剃りなどアメニティはなくフロントで購入した。バスタオルも古くてかたくほころびて室内スリッパも使い古しで汚く破れていた。スタッフも愛想が悪い。クリスマスに空室があった意味が分かった。他のホテルはどこも満室でした。
