The front desk is very friendly and funny. They do an amazing job of keeping it clean top to bottom. The location is great too, right in the heart of south beach so you can go for an early morning job by the ocean! The biggest down was the room. I stayed with 4 other girls in a room that could accomodate 6 people. The room was stinking, had no windows, […] impossible to breath in and AC was not working. I requested the front desk to change my room and got lucky but if you are going during peak season you may not be able to do that. Les mer

The Hostel was a terrible experience. The hallway had a stench to it and there wad a lack of clean linens. Only plus was the location

I went to the Miami Boat show and most hotels were full or very expensive - over $300. I found this hostel and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try. I was traveling alone and had positive experiences at hostels in the past (Vancouver at the Olympics). Four to a room. My roommates were from India, Germany, Canada and Argentina. Nice bar […] in lobby, good restaurants nearby, decent breakfast included. They could add some sort of material on the doors to lessen the sound when they close. On bus route. Great experience! SOBE HOSTEL was a great great great location, little theater, helpful staff, and very clean! Good for students on a budget $20 a day woop! that was good just to stay near South Beach was so great!

No need to even bother with this hostel. The service is terrible. The rooms are dirty and have bunk beds. And it is far too expensive 70$ for one night... I didn't even stay....you shouldnt either...

The room is ok and the position is perfect. Bars/restaurants are very close, also the south beach is really beautiful. However there are some noise around. I had a ok sleep but not my gf. Mainly for students and young people. Considering the price and location, If I travel along I might do it again.

Much like most Hostels in Large Cities, Not a lot of Character, just a cheap place to Sleep...Rooms have Bunk Beds & nothing else other than A/C & a Mirror! Though the Front Desk Girls were exceptionally nice & helpful (which is sometimes lost at busy Hostels) Facilities were kept clean by hard working Cleaning Ladies! I was expecting dingy and gross everything. However, everything was very clean and the help was awesome. They were all friendly and quite helpful. As for the experience--just like any hostel, it all depends on the people who are there when you are. I lucked out and made some friends and had a blast. The atmosphere was very cool and international - I met people from Sweden, Britain, and Switzerland. The staff was helpful and the location was just a 5 minute walk from the beach. VERY affordable.

Booked a private double room which they dont have? They quickly blamed Expedia for this, was an ok experience. Good location, cheap and clean but nothing else amazing or special about this hostel.

I enjoyed my stay especially the late night events that the hostel puts together for the hottest local clubs in the area.

When I first checked in the hotel I was amazed at what I saw. They had a pool table there was a bar, they also had tv inside a movie theatre.I even could've washed my own clothes in the laundry room, it is a place i would definitely comeback and stay in.

Good location very close to the beach and public transportation; breakfast?- no knifes or spoons for cream cheese or cofffee - i used a fork for everything. This was not a "one time mistake" - it was on all my 3 days of stay. Air-condition too loud to sleep - you will need earplugs. The place is found in a really good location and there is a local pub inside the hostel - means great young environment. Oshi - the receptionist was great and helped us a lot. The rooms are small but for the price it's worth it, especially for 18-25 coming to Miami to have fun.

The pictures from the place do so much lie. The place is not that good looking at all in real life. There's nothing but bunk beds in the rooms. You can't control the aírconditioner yourself. Hostel was in a good location, close to beach and amenities. Room was very very basic and beds were uncomfortable. Staff in all areas were not friendly and welcoming and did not seem at all interested in answering any of our questions.

In looking at the various options on Expedia, I was hesitant about staying at a hostel but went ahead and booked a room based on the low price and positive reviews I read here. I'd like to save you from making the same mistake. I'd also like to save you the time of reading a lengthy review and just list a few of the major problems. 1. The upstairs […] mens bathroom was permanently closed, despite the "temporarily closed" sign on the door. This left one bathroom for the entire hostel. 2. The downstairs mens bathroom was missing large sections from the ceiling and had water dripping from the light fixtures. The floors were always wet The shower stalls were covered in mildew.. The toilets were regularly clogged. More than once there was no toilet paper. The sink faucet blew off when I turned on the water, shooting a geyser of water into the air and all over me. 3. We could hear the loud music from the bar until 2am and running along the hallway, yelling and slamming doors until morning. The loud, window-mounted air conditioner turned out to be a blessing by drowning out the racket with white noise. 4. There was a large, dead cockroach laying squished in the middle of the main hallway for over a day. 5. The receptionist promised me a parking permit when I spoke to her the day before arrival, yet there was never one available. 6. The receptionist assured me three time that the city stopped checking parking receipts at 12am. I received an $18 ticket at 2:53pm. Les mer

This is a nice hostel, which basically is like a dormitory. Most guests are European. I would recommend this cute place for students, especially for groups of friends. I was very very please (and surprised) at how well this hostel was maintained and how comfortable I was there. This place is great, as long as you actually KNOW what a hostel is. The beds aren't hard. They're a little uncomfortable, but the mattresses are actually plenty soft. It's SOUTH BEACH though, you should be sufficiently drunk to pass out anywhere […] ha. Es un hotel medio, con un poco de falta de mantenimiento, pero por el precio esta correcto, ya que esta a un paso de la playa, en una zona tranquila. Sirven un desayuno basico.

Lo peor de mi visita a Miami, si no fuera por la amable atención del personal que se esmera en la atención, la nota no daría ni para 1. Todo mal desde la información de la pagina, arrende supuestamente una habitación individual, y me encuentro con que esta opción no existe en el establecimiento y se me entrega como solución dos opciones, una pieza de […] cuatro personas y en camarotes o que cancele la reservación. En South Beach, a las 7.00 Hrs. con una maleta a cuestas nadie puede entregar esa opción. En fin asumiendo el fraude, todo fue un desastre, todo hediondo, preferí incluso dormir en el auto que arrende, los baños un asco, se nota que no se hace ni el aseo..... Y el lugar un bodrio de bullicio imposible de poder descansar......... En resumen ... NI SE LES OCURRA...... Les mer

Jag skulle bo där igen. Även om det kan lukta lite unket och var något väl mjuka sängar, så var det definitivt värt pengarna och kändes trivsamt och rent. Och schyst personal. Väldigt bra för att vara ett hostel!

Feb 2013- Bra för att vara ett hostel. Rent, bra läge. Billigt. Väldigt enkla rum med våningssäng. Bra personal! Går att få parkeringstillstånd för 15 dollar/dygn, värt!

O Hostel é bem interessante. Tem um tom jovem, requisitos mínimos para acomodar quem está sozinho ou com amigos. Dica 1: leve cadeados com você porque os armários ficam a disposição, mas não tem trava. Dica 2: peça pra ficar num quarto apenas com pessoas apenas do seu gênero. Eu não fiz essa exigência e tive que conviver com um casal no meu quarto. […] Era um pouco constrangedor porque as vezes eu não podia ficar mais a vontade como se eu estivesse só com homens. Mas o local é perfeito e por isso não gastei um dólar sequer com taxi. Fiz tudo a pé! Les mer
