Store rene og flotte rom med god temperatur. Døgnåpen informasjonensdesk med veldig god service. God beliggenhet med gåavstand, samt taxi tilgjengelig til enhver tid. Lekker frokostbuffet! Spesielt godt fornøyd med lobby og barområdet hvor vi kunne samles et par timer på kvelden før vi gikk til hvert vårt rom!:):)

Hotellet lå svært sentralt, bare 150 meter fra Sheaperds Bush stasjonen, som ligger på Central line (den røde undergrunnen). Ved stasjonen ligger også Westfield, et stort, nytt handlesenter. Jeg hadde bestillt rom med to enkelsenger og da de ikke hadde det, fikk jeg oppgradering til et rom med kingsize seng. Rommet var stort og flott, nydelige badehåndklær og badekåper.

Veldig hyggelig lite hotell med god service. Veldig behjelpelige med bestillnger til restauranter. Deilig frokost.

Staff not overly friendly or helpful upon arrival. Room are very small (tiny), so small you can't help but hit your elbows as you try to enter the shower. Good location, as long as you're happy to catch the tube underground. Not at all central, however, the nearest tube station is only a few minutes walk away. Central London is 15 minutes by rail. "Good hotel for short stays"
Good service, would recommend pretty much for anyone. Really good value for money, nice locations only 2 mins away from the tube station. Only downside is that it's located right next to a busy road, lots of traffic noise through day and night. However, possibly the best possible hotel in London for this price.

I wouldn't recommend this place if you were taking a girlfriend to london for the weekend. The room was super small and real rough round the edges. The TV barely worked (and no cable/satalite like advertised), the shower head hanging, broken, from the braket, bits of unfinished skirting board etc (the kind of things that just make it look and feel a […] bit grubby) and a skip outside the window. The breakfast was almost laughable, a free for all for toasted crusts of bread and a big tub of 'value' cereal. The front desk staff were very....blunt. They weren't exactly rude to me, but to other people waiting at reception they were. Not the best welcome. HOWEVER, I wasn't going with a girlfriend (I was staying there with a friend after seeing a band) and it was pretty cheap for the location. The room was warm, and didnt have blood stains on the sheets. And I managed to have a shower with the broken shower in the morning. Overall a below average hotel, but if you just need somewhere to sleep for a night, should do the trick. read a review that compared it to a hostel more than a hotel, and I think that would be acurate. I stayed here for one night and cannot fault the hotel at alll. Yes it is a budget hotel but excellent value when you bare in mind you are in a nice part of Clapham right by the common, with easy access to central London. The staff are also very friendly. "Euro Lodge Clapham - Great for the price!"
For the price I was expecting the lower standard type hotel with drafty windows, non-existing shower, worn down and dirty. We were going to see a show, stay one night and go back, so I didn't really mind. Well, to my surprise, the Euro Lodge was actually really good for the price! The rooms were big, clean and, tea and coffee, TV and the shower seemed […] like it had just been renovated! One of the few times I've had a shower which had a "normal" jet of water! There was also breakfast in the price, not a big one, but I expected nothing. The staff is nice and helpful. It's not central London, but the Clapham South tube station is only two minutes away and there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and stores nearby. I've of course stayed in better hotels, but I assure you I've lived in far worse hotels in London, that were more expensive. I'll stay there again when there's a show in Brixton! Les mer
"Excellent value in a quiet neighborhood"
Breakfast was the only area where I was not satisfied. Other than that, I thought this was a true bargain. Keep in mind that you are a little out of central London, but it is on the Northern line and pretty easy to get out and about.

The room was tiny, the walls thin. But the price was also tiny - really remarkably low. And the room was clean and warm, the shower worked fine, the bed comfy. Breakfast very basic. Great location opposite the common. The best you could get in London for this money.

I wanted a hotel within walking distance of where I was working in Lambeth and this looked OK and the price was good. For the price I paid it was about right. I had read the reviews saying get a room in the main building so was a bit disappointed when they said it was in a building behind. Had to go through the backyard to come to our room. Clean bed, but not well-kept room or hotel in general. Very basic continental breakfast, but ok. One minute walk from underground, same to huge Tesco. Just within zone 2 on tube map, which is good. Ok for one night or two, not for a long stay. And again; you get what you pay for.

I spent four nights at Euro Lodge in 2010 and once again in November 2011. I got the exact same tiny single room both times. This hotel is old, creaky, cramped, and still well worth the money. In expensive London, Euro Lodge offers a reasonable option: Good location, excellent wireless internet included in room rate, great bed, and a mediocre but free […] breakfast. The negatives are, for me, relatively minor: There are no hooks for hanging towels, during both stays there were only four coat hangers provided which had to hand on a single rickety hook on the back of the room's door, there is one light bulb in the room and one in the bathroom, outlets are rare and require being a contortionist to use them, and the shower stall is so teeny that one cannot bend over to pick up dropped soap. Overall this hotel is worth the money. Staff is friendly and available. The room was warm, dry, clean, and safe. Les mer
"Bit grotty, but did the job."
We stayed here for two nights as it was convenient for the tube at Clapham Common - we were only 15 minutes from central London this way. However, the hotel has seen better days. The shower fitting was hanging off the wall, the bedside light had snapped in two and had been repaired with sellotape, there was no plug for the sink, and the single-glazed […] window was mouldly and I woke up both nights quite cold. It was milder the second night so did not ask for an extra blanket thinking I'd be ok, but it was still cold at 4am with no spare bedding. The walls seemed very thin as loud guests came shouting their way through the place at 4am. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was very basic, but appreciated as I didn't expect to get any, however we supplimented this wiht food from the Tesco metro just down the road. I wouldn't stop here again, but did the job for the price we paid. Sometimes its worth a few extra pounds to get a good, warm nights sleep. Les mer
"Bare bones on a budget"
The positives to this hotel is it's conveniently located approx 2 blocks from the tube station in zone 2. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the maid service was great. The negatives are the rooms are tiny. We had 3 rooms on the first 2 days we were there. The first room's door wouldn't lock and was so tiny we couldn't get […] all our luggage in the room. They quickly moved us to a larger room that locked. Unfortunately, although this room had a window, it had no airflow and the room's air was stagnant. We also couldn't get our free wifi inroom so I moved to the lobby to use our computer. I asked about a fan for our room and they offered to move us to another room. We did move to another room that was even bigger with a desk with drawers and a door out to a balcony. Although we never used the balcony, we did leave the door open while we were in the room for fresh air. The beds in all three rooms were full size that were of poor quality. The springs and small size of the beds forced my husband to sleeping on the floor. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly people. If we were to stay there again, they would need to get larger better quality beds. Be prepared for no phones in the rooms and no alarm clocks. The fire alarm would go off several times almost every night and day. The response we got from staff about the alarms was they were renovating. I'm not sure why this would set them off at 2 and 3 am. Due to beds, we got very poor sleep. If your a heavy sleeper and a small person, this may be perfect for you. If your not, I'd suggest looking for some were else to stay. Les mer

"Worth the Price"
For the price, the hotel was more than adequate. It was a 15 minute tube (which was a couple of blocks down the street) ride into the heart of London, but far enough away that you weren't constantly dealing with heavy foot traffic around the hotel. There was plenty of places to get something to eat and a Tesco between the hotel and the Tube where you […] could stop to pick up groceries or something cheap and quick to eat. "Looks great from the outside"
I wasn't expecting much from a budget hotel off of clapham, but the hotel it self was undergoing a lot of construction, so everything was very dirty. You had to pay an awful lot to use their computer. Their phones couldn't even make outside calls. The breakfast was pretty poor. As for the room itself, the floor was like lumpy and uneven, it smelled […] like mildew, when you opened any the cabinets, there was just bare brick walls and exposed pipes. The house keeping person left our window wide open which was ground level to the outside. Just not the best experience, but not the worst. Les mer

"Very Basic"
Very basic hotel, more like a hostel. Room was kept clean with basic amenities. They were doing renovations which meant constant drilling and hammering during the day, which was very annoying when trying to sleep off jet lag. Toilet kept flushing itself at 4am every morning????? Overall a cheap hotel/hostel if you are on a budget and want a room to […] yourself instead of staying in a hostel dorm. Close to the station, so is easy to get into town and doesn't take long. not much happening in the area after 11pm, so don't expect to get anything to eat apart from a delivered pizza after that time. "Don't knock it till you try!"
The lodge was as to be exspected for a budget hotel and i have used the chain before. The staff were very helpful we asked for a bath so moved rooms and it was spacious and had plenty of desk space. We did not have plug in the room so they found one. One thing is just to make sure you find parking as the car park is small and they can not guarentee, […] so just a case of having a back up plan just incase. Great location next to bus stops, tube, park, shops and town. Perfect for a night or couple of nights stay to use as a base. Don't believe all the reviews you read, if you are not happy just say and they will be only to happy to help. If they don't know how can they help. Aside from the pleasant enough exterior of the hotel and the reasonably accomodating staff, I would recommend giving this hotel a wide bearth. The room that I was given was in some sort of outhouse and possibly the worst room that I have ever stayed in, buying a tent and pitching it on the common would have been a better option. "Dissapointing experience"
Memorable for all the wrong reasons. We checked in late and wanted a taxi straight away. We were told by reception to call ring from the room - dial 1 for reception. Arrived at the room and no phone. A sky light in the room & the wall beneath covered in what looked like bird excrement. Ordered a taxi from reception & tehy charged an extortionate price […] (taxi back was half the price). I had a two night stay at this guest house. One thing that did concern me on arrival was that there was the main guest house and also buildings next door that were also part of the guest house but not interlinked in any way - the doors to these other guest houses were open all night but I was assured that there was a security guard on duty at night. […] I was concerned about this as I was staying here with my young son. The location is perfect, lots of bars, restaurants, the tube station, even a tesco. "Good for the price"
Would recommend if you are looking for a cheap and short stay in London. Location is close to a tube station, 10-15 min. away from Victoria station. Rooms are big but very simple. Breakfast is just a toast, cereals, coffee, tea and juice. Staff is friendly.

location was ok, 20 min of subway travel from the city and a quick walk from the station. check in was also ok, a bit understaffed maybe. our first room was smelling like an ashtray and was also quite dirty, so we asked for another room. that wasn´t a problem, we got another one (we could even choose between these two). the second room was as much […] as dirty as the first one and mouldy instead of smelling like cigarettes. well, we took this one, but it wasn´t really relaxing after a hard sightseeing day with all the mould at the walls and even on the bed! plus, you could feel each spring of the matress in your back... the breakfast really nothing for gourmets, but allright conclusion: we cannot recommend this hotel at all! A clean hotel with pleasant neighborhood and close vicinity to Clapham South station and a Tesco supermarket. Good pubs nearby. The hotel is old, but in good shape overall.. It´s located 300m from Clapham south underground - which is in zone 2 so the tickets are fairly cheap. Nearby is 3-4 resturants and a Tesco, so it was easy to get food and drinks.. The bathroom was small, but working fine and clean and nice.. On the positive side, there is digital TV with many channels.. I travel often and knew that a hotel in London at this low price would not be earning any stars. It is old and shopworn with tiny rooms and few amenities (not even a place to hang clothes or a fan to cool the room). I really enjoyed my stay in euro lodge clapham. Firstly hotel was really well located. next to the underground and cross the clapham park and a bu stop just infront of the hotel. People working was very polite and happy to help whatever asked. Breakfast was nice but was very busy with people :) the early you go for breakfast the more you can sit in […] the dining room watch morning news and have coffee with no rush.. My room was not looking at the park but still was very nice specialy I liked having kettle and tea and coffee in the room :) I enjoyed having my coffee while watching tv in my room .as a result I am really happy with my choice and would like to stay again if I come to London again. "Cheap and basic- fine if that is what you need!"
You get what you pay for - and at not so many pounds a night for a single, it was basically a bed and a shower-room. It wasn't clean but it wasn't awful. The bedding was very fresh and comfy and the shower worked well. The location is convenient for transport links..... The rest is kind of irrelevant!

I stayed here for two reasons, firstly I stayed 2 yrs ago so knew what 2 expect ( very average), it is quite central only 2 min walk from clapham south tube, northern line. Secondly it is convenient to get to wimbledon, which is the main reason I chose it. For the price it is ok, clean, staff are friendly, the first room I was allocated was not acceptable, […] the second not much better. The 3rd room was ok. If you are looking 4 cheap and cheerful its ok, dont expect anything else, the breakfast is about as basic as you can get ( I didnt bother with it ). Les mer
"Cheap London hotel, did the job I required"
It's cheap, it has good transport links, free basic breakfast, free wifi, it's clean. That was all I was expecting and it delivered. We had a room at the back which was alot quiter than the front. Room was too hot with no fan provided and small window to open. Bed was a double put in to a singe room therefore we couldnt open the bathroom door properly. If you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay, this hotel fits the bill - true it is a bit run down but there appears to be a bit of refurbishment going on at the moment. I had a week in limbo, needing a place to stay for jusy 5 days. I cannot really complain- my stay was dirt cheap and I was lucky to get four walls and a roof for the amount I paid over the week. Not recommended if you're looking for a comfortable stay or a clean room.

Pro: situato in zona 2 (20 minuti di metro da Piccadilly) con stazione della metro (Clapham South sulla Northern Line) a 100 dall'albergo e fermata del bus (N155 per le notturne) proprio dinanzi alla porta d'ingresso. Prezzi eccezionali, soprattutto se paragonati con quelli delle strrutture alberghiere in Italia. Contro: problemi al riscaldamento dello […] stabile colmati con la presenza di una stufetta elettrica, pulizia della camera superficiale, colazione continentale sufficiente. Nel complesso l'albergo è un buon compromesso tra chi vuole spendere poco e avere la camera giusto come punto d'appoggio per viversi Londra full-time. Les mer

"Complicado"
Reservamos o hotel pela internet, no Brasil mesmo. A preocupação nem era tanto com conforto e serviços prestados... queríamos um quarto limpo e internet. A grande e ruim surpresa foi quando chegamos no hotel, com malas bem pesadas e fomos direcionados ao nosso quarto que ficava fora do hotel (!!!???!!!!) era um quarto em um predinho (bem ruim, por sinal) […] na rua do lado sem qualquer identificação ou sinalização de que pertencia ao hotel. Tivemos que subir com as malas dois grandes lances de escadas, pois não havia elevador. A porta do tal predinho fica trancada, ou seja, sempre que chegávamos, não podíamos ir direto para o nosso quarto; tínhamos que passar na recepção para que alguém nos acompanhasse e digitasse um código na porta (!!!!!????) Quando a recepção estava cheia com outros hóspedes chegando tínhamos que esperar (!!!!!!!) Bem inconveniente, mesmo porque a reserva foi feita no endereço da recepção e não da rua do lado. Ficamos pensando em como seria se precisássemos de qualquer serviço do hotel ... Para completar, a internet não funcionava no quarto (como estava anunciado) e ninguém conseguiu fazê-la funcionar (!!!!!!). O aquecimento também deixou a desejar ... bem fraco. Les mer
