Loved the hotel. Since we just wanted a place to sleep for a few hours, it cost more than I would have liked to pay--but it was very beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more.

Enjoyed our room and facility. The room was very well appointed with updated bed linens, great & very comfortable mattress. Employees were very receptive and polite.

We very much liked : wonderful big room, stylish decorated, new, comfortable beds, clean, convenient location for visiting the Columbia Gorge, awesome price. We were concerned about: very slow or non-working WiFi in room 202, facing front of hotel. First night, we gave up after waiting minutes for each page to load. Next morning, it worked, we could […] use it, but it was very slow. Second evening, initially it worked for 1/2 hour, then it quickly went downhill, to no connection. Second morning at 5 am, we couldnt even get online. In the same week we visited 3 other BW hotels and had no WiFi issues at all. The review written on this hotel was extremely inaccurate. My king "suite" was just a regular sized room. The "comfy pillowtop bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The view of the water??? Not sure why that was even listed. The water couldn't even be seen from this hotel!! Lastly, the hot breakfast was horrible so I found a nearby Starbucks instead. […] I would never stay here again. This is the second time to stay here. The rooms are quite spaceous & very clean. The hotel is at a great location for exploring the Gorge. We loved the freshly baked cookies in the afternoon.

The PM shift service was great (Valerie??) - we arrived a hot mess and she graciously ran all over trying to find extra toiletries for our filthy party with a smile! She was always manning the desk with a smile as we paced back and forth through the lobby - her attitude made up for the construction in the area for sure!

When you plan where a hotel is going to be you may want to know the area better the fire escape has a nice view of the mountain. Best Western put a little care in when you pick a location that you maximize the view.

Front desk staff was excellent. They were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fair with microwaved entrees and cheap apples and oranges, but good waffles and pastries. The hotel seemed understaffed with only one front desk worker who also had to handle breakfast set up and stocking. My room was very clean and nicely arranged. The king size bed was comfortable. […] The roll-away bed was not comfortable. The shower was huge and the toilet area was larger than usual. The hotel is in an industrial area by the waterfront. The hotel and room were very nice. Clean, comfortable and all, but the reason for the lower rating is the breakfast was out of a horror movie. The sausage seemed to be mystery meat and the eggs, if you can call them that were Inedible. If you are going to offer breakfast, at least make it so people can feel good about eating it.

Searched for hotels near Portland, got one in a different state and miles away from the city, so watch out for the mileage. It would have been nice to know when I booked the room that the surrounding streets were being ripped up and rerouted every day. A king suite here just means two TV's. Don't expect multiple rooms. Staff was great.

I had not expected such a nice hotel in such a small town. Nearly everything was perfect. The room was very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. I was traveling with my 8 year old who always brings a baby doll to sleep with. She was so surprised & excited to find her baby sitting on the bed waiting for her every night. On […] our last night the baby was tucked into a washcloth and was using her mommy's nightgown as a pillow. This was one of the highlights of her trip. This hotel has a staff who cares about the customer & it shows. We spent every evening in the pool, a very nice way to unwind. Only 2 things that could have been better & one was out of their control. The highway to access the hotel is under construction and there was sometimes a wait to get on the highway in the morning. On the positive, we never heard a sound in our room from the construction. The other not perfect thing was the breakfast. Unless you wanted cereal or waffles the pickings were slim. Microwaved eggs & sausage were not appealing and the only fruit was whole, not cut & ready to eat. Both negatives were minor & did not impact our stay. Not only would I stay again, I will be staying again in the near future to visit family. Les mer

Nice, newer hotel, kind of out of in the middle of nowhere-but not too far from Portland. Great stay, nice clean rooms, great pool, breakfast... didn't have any problems would definitely stay here again.

The reason I did not score the convenience as high is because at this time there is a lot of construction in the area. There were no noise issues, it was simply inconvient to get around in the area.

We had a great stay at the Best Western. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms, heated pool, jacuzzi, workout room and wonderful staff. Could you ask for anything more? We would definitely stay there again. The only negative thing for me, would be there aren't too many restaurants near the hotel. But there is a town not to far that has some.

Stayed for a few nights. Liked the indoor pool and river adjacent park. Hotel room was comfortable and fairly spacious for price. Construction next door, but hotel insulation dulls sound well.

I came to visit my Mom that lives in Camas. It was very close and easy to get to her house. The people at the front desk were VERY friendly and the breakfast was awesome. I have stayed there twice, so far and will always stay there when visiting.

The Hotel was very clean. The daily breakfast was very nice and the area was very clean. Coffee and cookies were available every night and the desk help were very friendly and helpful. They have a private room to use the internet and we printed our plane boarding passes, all free. The sleeping rooms were nice but a little small for a week stay but the […] maid service was very good. They need to update some of the room furniture and repair closet doors. We live in the area of this hotel, had home construction project underway and stayed here to escape the fumes of new wood floor stain. The price was very reasonable through Hotels.com; my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel for the price. Very clean, only 2 years old, nice wide hallways and extremely quiet, at least […] during our stay. If you stay here and are looking for dinner, as a local I would suggest Los Dos Compadres Mexican restaurant, take out from Sweet Fire BBQ, or for a more upscale experience and a little more $, dinner at Hearth is good. This is a newer , very clean hotel. They had free warm cookies in the evening- huge plus. Pool was very clean. Just a couple min walk down to the dock. Friendly service. Comfy beds. The only down side at all was limited cable channels and the road view wasn't pretty.

The people at the hotel were very nice and the hotel itself was beautiful. I searched for several days trying to find the perfect hotel and this was it but for a much better price than expected. We will certainly visit again.
