Hotel Indigo Durham Research Triangle Park - Durham

Have stayed at another Hotel Indigo and wanted to compare. Both were wonderful experiences, and I'd highly recommend it to others who want a refreshing change from the routine hotel rooms.

Hotel Indigo is probably the best 3 star hotel in the biz. The little things they do differently help them stand out from the other 3 star types. The decor sets the mood and the people add to the good vibe I get every time I stay here. Now into my third year of staying here, I did notice a few blemishes on painted walls, hall carpets, etc. -nothing […] to prevent it from still being my #1 pick in the area, but I hope they keep up with the pristine property i've come to enjoy. I cannot say enough positive things about my stay at Hotel Indigo. I travel quite a bit on business and hotels are normally a means to an end - a place to put my stuff and sleep. The rooms are really beautiful - I even took a picture and posted them on my FB. In addition, the customer service is top notch. The van driver - Ray - drove me to my meeting […] then came back with my bags to take me to the airport. My only complaint are the restaurant hours. When I arrived at 1:00 pm, the restaurant wasn't open and room service wasn't available. There weren't really any dining establishments within walking distance. Les mer

We've stayed at Hotel Indigo in Durham twice now and couldn't recommend it enough. The facility is stylish, bright, clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff are courteous and accommodating. Staying here is like staying at an upscale hotel for a budget hotel price.

The quality of the service was excellent! Patty at the front desk and Chris in the restaurant area were excellent. Hardwood floors of the rooms were quite a change for a hotel room...we liked them. Colors and layout of the room and hotel are very good. We recommend the Double queen with AR seating area room. Stay is excellent for travellers. Dont miss this if you are going to stay in Raleigh.

There was used/chewed up gum stuck to the bathtub wall.

Beautiful hotel, good service, nice staff but small pool. Not a problem everybody was kind and helpful.

I simply did not get a good night's sleep. Even though the hotel building looks relatively new, the AC unit made a great racket throughout the night. Also, the *15 numbered rooms share a wall with the elevator waiting area on each floor so you hear the elevator bell all through the night.

I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay at Hotel Indigo. The staff were great, the room was very comfortable, clean with a large bathroom and shower. I will stay there again soon.

This was my first visit to a Hotel Indigo and the Raleigh/Durham area. If you are visiting the Research Triangle area, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The service was great, the beds were extremely comfortable and you couldn't beat the location. The hotel was close to the airport, downtown and shopping.

excellent looking and feeling hotel. different type of decor than normal, but one that relaxes the visitor, which i'm sure is the idea. beautiful room, fantastic bathroom/shower.

I've stayed in an Indigo before so I knew what to expect, and I was not disappointed. I was very satisfied with the staff and my room. The only complaint was that the elevator broke while I was there. It was fixed in a few hours. while it was down we had to use the service elevator and we got to see the laundry room and some other stuff in the back […] of the house. While I could have done without that, it was nice to see that it was very clean back there. Les mer

Great Hotel. Paper at door each morning. Coffee pot in room. HUGE shower. Good work space. Large rooms.

hotel was great. But, I will never go through hotels.com ever again, When I made reservations I went over it several times with the guy Mike what I needed, a suite room for two adults and two children. He said the suite had king bed in one room and a sofa bed in the other room. When we arrived at hotel they informed me that hotels.com had reserved me […] a king room only. I called hotels.com which took me 45 minutes to finally get a live person. They told me it was my fault and that they gave me what I asked for. Why would I request one king room for 4 people. They person was very rude and would not help me find another room and said that they did not give refunds. He said the only they could do was thing give me a thirty dollars voucher. He then after going around and round with the guy who barely spoke english hung up in my face. We stayed in the king bed room with 4 people and my husband sleep in the chair that night which caused him to have servere back pain. The hotel informed us that this kind of things happens alot with Hotels.com. The hotel it self tried to help us but they were booked due to graduation weekend. Les mer

Can't say enough about everything this place does right especially when compared to comparable priced hotels (hardwood floors - c'mon that's awesome!) Stayed in a room w/queen beds and an extra seating area this past weekend - HUGE ROOM @ a great rate! Extremely stylish hotel with very nice amenities. We enjoyed the walk-in shower and the flat screen TV. The best part of all for us was the 24 hour access to the fitness area, jacuzzi and in-door pool.

Visiting our son @ Duke is always something my wife & I enjoy doing. When there's a big event (parents weekend), the hotel on campus is sold out months in advance. We decided to try Hotel Indigo because it's location is about 1/2 way between Duke & Southpoint Mall/Restaurants, two places where we spend most of our of time when we visit. The Hotel stay […] was great. Everything is brand new, comfy bed, giants flat screen TV, and a huge bathroom w/rain shower walk-in roman shower stall. The lobby bar & restaurant was lively and everyone seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere featuring bamboo walls, mood lighting, and friendly bar tenders. There's no question where I'll be staying next time I visit Duke....Hotel Indigo is Sweet! Les mer

Overall, I liked the hotel very much. My only complaint is that there are not any restaurants within easy walking distance. I took the hotel transportation, so I did not have my own car.

This hotel was a breath of fresh air, I was pleasantly surprised the room was large colors were calming,the beautiful hardwood floors, lg flat screen TV DVD-Playerand CD player, internet, Microwave and refrig. upon request. Cleanliness, Staff friendly and very helpful. Spa and Pool relaxing plenty of towels, and quest robes. Hotel turned 1 year old […] on August 27,2010. I stay at hotels that rate 4 & 5 star, My personal experience they pay attention to details. Highly reccommend. My guest where impressed with this hotel. Having stayed in many hotels this one is nice only complaint is no venting in bathrooms and small pool.

My husband and I were overly impressed with Hotel Indigo! It was new, clean, and extremely comfortable! Great decor and a pleasant staff.

The hotel was excilent. If had the chance I would go back.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Accommodations were exactly what we asked for and the room was super clean. Large shower, high beds and comfy mattresses. Very clean hotel all around. Rooms were spacious and had a spa-like atmosphere. Hard wood floors in room were much better than the usual carpet. Our only complaint was a squeaky bed. I would definitely stay at a Hotel Indigo again. The location of this hotel was very convenient to Raleigh and Durham, and is also a short commute to Chapel Hill.

The Indigo is a fantastic hotel. The rooms were great with beautiful wood floors, queen beds and lots of room. The exercise room was super and the kids enjoyed the pool. The only downsides were the weak water pressure in the shower and the lack of single malt scotch at the bar. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again. You can't beat the quality […] for the price. One caution, if your package says breakfast is included, you actually get a voucher for a set amount off breakfast and it was only enough to cover two of us. Les mer

If you are looking for a zen like hotel...this is the place for you. I LOVE the decor. It reminded me of stepping into a New York boutique hote. The only change I would make is better sheets. Otherwise....absolutely no complaints. The rooms are wonderful with hardwood floors...what a concept for a hotel. The rooms do not have tubs, only stand alone […] showers which I really enjoyed but if you are looking for a bath after a long day, this will not be the hotel for you.
