Trengte èn natt i forbindelse med å skulle reise på cruise. Hotellet ligger like ved både flyplassen og cruisehavnen, slik at det kun er snakk om en liten drosjetur til 10-15 dollar, samt at hotellet har shuttle til havnen som ligger på ca 5 dollar pr snute, kjørt til riktig skip. Det at hotellet ligger rett ved flyplassen merker man ikke stort til hva gjelder støy. Det eneste som er å utsette er lokasjonen i forhold til f.eks spisesteder og butikker, som gjør at man er avhenging av å kjøre/bli kjørt til butikk eller restaurant, da det er et greit stykke til forts. Men dette koster ikke akkurat mange dollarene.. Dette var mitt andre opphold på dette hotellet, og kommer trolig til å bo her også neste gang jeg er i byen i samme ærend :)

Helt ok hotell i forhold til pris. Rommet noe gammeldags og hadde ikke kjøleskap. Ellers var det rent og pent med 2 gode dobbeltsenger. Fin lobby med en liten bar som ble omgjort til en enkel frokostservering. Betalte ca 25 dollar ekstra per døgn i tillegg for å få hotellet til å parkere/hente bilen i eget garasjeanlegg så ofte vi hadde behov. Parkeringen kunne gjøres billigere ved å hente/bringe på egenhånd.

Bra hotell med tenke på kvalitet, men kjedelig at de skal ha 25 dollar i tillegg for parkering og 10 dollar for WiFi på rommet.

Godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Svært vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale. Romantisk og stemningsfullt uteområde/bar om kveldene. Rent og pent og minimalistisk stil på rommene. Kan anbefales.

"Nice And clean"
The room was clean as was the hotel. The desk employees were friendly and helpful. The only problem was with the breakfast on Sunday morning... Frozen sausage toasters and microwaves not working and it seemed that the lone employee could not keep up with the demands of the guests. We had no problems with the Saturday breakfast.
Pool is not heated. Other than that excellent

"Avoid room near elevator on this one"
Our room back up to the elevator and we had a humming every time it was in use. We never told the staff as we were too tired to move even if they had a room. Otherwise a very new hotel, and oerfect in every sense of the word. We would go back but request a room away from the elevator.

"Wonderful place, except for the gnats"
A great hotel - friendly, competent service, nice pool, beautiful surroundings, decent breakfast - except for those pesky gnats! I couldn't eat any fresh fruit because the gnats were in the fruit container. Need to address this issue in order to achieve perfection. They're almost there!

"Close to all the major High Ways"
This hotel is a diamond in the ruff. It"s close to all major highways. The only down side is that there is nothing within a half mile of the hotel, however the area is developing. The hotel is brand new.

Excellent hotel, close to stadium. (ten minute drive) Room was exceptionally clean, staff friendly. Continental breakfast room was crowded game day morning so didn't use that.

Courteous staff and great location right off the turnpike. Would recommend for folks doing business in either Miami or Ft Lauderdale - to get away from the craziness of a downtown. This hotel also has a great work out area.

"Miami Dolphin Game"
This is a great place to stay if you are attending a Dolphins game. (Only 10 minutes from the stadium) Plenty of restaurants nearby, and you get a complimentory breakfast in the morning.

I did not find some of the front desk staff to be informative or apologetic. After I extended my stay by one day, I spoke to the desk clerk to make sure that my additional stay was received and confirmed. I was told that everything was fine. The following morning I left my room to get ice; however, when I returned I was locked out of my room. Luckily, […] I was dressed so I went to the front desk which was manned by the same desk clerk who told me, the previous day, that everything was ok. She knew why I was there because she did't ask any questions, instead she asked for my room key, placed it in the machine, punched a code in and returned my key. She didn't acknowledge or apologize for my inconvenience. In addition, this is the first hotel, much less, the first Hampton Inn that did not have a microwave and refrigerator in their rooms. When I inquired, I was very matter of factly told that only their suites had refrigerators and microwaves. The only staff whom I found friendly were the housekeeping staff and the breakfast staff. The others need extensive training in customer relations or they need to find another profession. I was so disgusted with the overall service and was so anxious to check out that I forgot to leave a tip for housekeeping which I deeply regret. When I checked out of this hotel, I checked into another hotel, in the same city, for 5 more nights. I am very sorry that I stayed as long as I did in the Hampton Inn & Suites. Les mer

Hotel kept up very nicely. Front desk personnel were all friendly and courteous. Free coffee and tea available all day in the lobby is a great extra touch. Just wish there was a restaurant on site so that I could have eaten there on Saturday night.

I always enjoy my stay at the Hampton Inn Miramar/Turnpike. Rooms are pretty clean, beds are comfortable, it's quiet and peaceful and easy access to major highways. The on-line description of the amenities described a "heated" outdoor pool which in reality was a very chilly pool. I guess they are advertising the sun's rays as "heating" the pool? Also, the t.v. is on a satellite cable system which, in Florida, can easily equate to loss of television with a thunderstorm. I needed a hotel near the Sun Life Stadium that was reasonably priced. The hotel was fairly new. The room I was assigned was a handicap room although I did not request it. The bathroom was extra large. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. The A/C worked great as well as everything else in the room. The front […] desk girls were pleasant and helpful and suggested a Argentine restaurant across the road from the hotel in a strip mall. The food and service was excellent! The location was great to Sun Life stadium a $20 cab ride. Breakfast was offered but I did not take advantage of it. I asked for 1 additional hour at check out and it was granted with a smile. Was in town for Jazz in the Gardens. Great location and accessibility to both the Turnpike and Sunlife. The rooms were clean. The gym was surprisingly well stocked and breakfast was adequate. Will be staying here next year for sure!

That Hotel looks good from the outside but thier service is atrocious. I was bitten by mosiquitoes or some bug during the night. The Receptionist at the front desk the morning of the March 12, 2011 was loud and impatient. In addition, The dirty bedlinning from the night before was replaced on the bed the following night. .

The front desk receptionist was rude. The overall stay minus her attitude was great. It was close to all of the attractions and family we needed to visit on our stay. The room itself was great.

I visit my brother's family periodically, and this was the perfect place to stay while visiting. It was comfortable, great service, good enough breakfast buffet, a pool for the kids to come swim in.

If you will be visitng Miami either to attend a game or to visit family, this is the place to stay. Excellent accomodations, quiet, clean, great morning breakfast, very nice and quite patio to read (if that is your thing) and very helpful front desk personnel.
Stayed there for the USF/Miami football game. Very convenient, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, etc.

The Hampton Inn and Suites Ft. Lauderdale/Miramar-Turnpike - was located close to a new commerical park with easy access to the Florida Turnpike a short distance from Sunlife Stadium making it perfect for the Baseball and Football fan.

Quiero destacar el servicio y la predisposicion de todo el personal del hotel . La ubicacion es muy buena porque esta cerca de todas las autopistas y es muy comodo para ir a Miami y Fort loderdale con tiempo de viajes de 25 minutos aproximadamente. Lo recomendaria sin dudar.
