smakfult boutique hotel - god beliggenhet. Service person ved ankomst ikke imponerende. Ny person dag to = Toppkarakter! Hotellet er trygt og godt valg

Hotellet stemmer godt med bilder. Vi var to voksne og to barn, 12 og 14 år. Rommet var moderne og stort nok. To doble senger. 130 cm. Over veien ligger stranden. Rolig del. Men kort vei til butikker og resturanter. Hotellet har 24 t resepsjonen og daglig renhold av rommet. Det v ar også alt. Men trenger ikke mer her. Ps. Parker bilen gaten bak hotellet. […] Døgnvakthold med forsikring. 30 $ per døgn. Les mer

Designmessig er dette hotellet veldig bra, det er nytt, fresht og modernt. Rommet var rent med kul design og flott bad. MEN; balkongen er knøttliten, det er to plastikkstoler på balkongen, ikke noe bord. Heldigvis var det to søppelbøtter på rommet, så vi snudde opp/ned på den ene og brukte det som bord. "Havsutsikten" betyr at du ser rett in i et bygg […] som står for forfall, ser du til venstre kan du mellom to bygg se havet, men det er lang fra hva man kan kalle havsutsikt. Det var mye støy fra bygg og veiarbeid utenfor, men dette kan selvfølgelig ikke hotellet klandres for. Det var lytt mellom rommene og gangen. Men det vi stusset mest på var lyset i rommet! På dagtid var det ikke noe problem, men når kvelden kom måtte du sitte på badet for å kunne lese! Eneste lyset som er i rommene er en taklampe i gangen, en spot i taket over et lite hjørnebord med en blomst, og en svak diodelist som ligger langs ene veggen og lyser oppover i taket. Alt lys var plassert i gangen, så i selve rommet så vi nesten ikke å pakke engang. Man burde kunne forvente hvertfall en lampe på nattbordet og en på skrivebordet. Man tenker kanskje at dårlig lys ikke er noe stort problem, men det er det når du må inn på badet for å kunne lese i guideboka! Til denne prisen regner jeg med at du får et langt bedre hotell i området. Her betaler du for "kul design". Les mer

The hotel rooms are very noisy: the doors may as well be open they let so much hall noise through. The hotel was tastefully updated, but very cheaply... good to look at from afar, but far from good.

The hotel was let down by the standard of the restaurant. Breakfast took forever even though there were only two busy tables. One of our dinner dishes, salmon in white wine sauce, was tasteless. Coffee making facilities in the room would have been an asset.

Location was in a perfect spot. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The front desk girl was beautiful and very helpful. Over all, very satisfied.

The location is great if you want the best of both worlds from Miami South Beach, it's far enough away from the noise and party aspects but still close enough to walk to the restaurants in the evening, head north for the cheaper ones, on Washington or south for a splurge. First impressions were great, a very boutique hotel with a nice laid back feel […] to it. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. Parking was offered but we'd already parked in the lot just behind the hotel for $30 since there was nowhere to park outside and check in. The room was really big and fresh with a small balcony we could see the sea from (not a full on sea view so beware if purchasing an upgraded room). Good quality shower with a medium flow (rain shower and hose) nice toiletries. Bit light on towels but enough for our 2 nights. Clean and comfortable with memory foam bed. We were below the pool but couldn't hear it. Pool are was great very relaxing with just a shallow pool but comfy loungers. Easy access across the road to the beach, the hotel will provide towels and chairs and the beach bag, nice touch. All in all it was pricey but so was everywhere else ($9 for a bottle of beer in the area!) I would stay here again,but not during spring break, it's everything it said it would be. Les mer

Wonderful experience. Quiet location close to the beach, walk to shopping and dining on Ocean Drive. Clean and fresh smelling with a delightful décor. Enjoyed the provided beach towels, bag and folding chairs to take to the beach. The roof pool had excellent sun chairs with thick cushions and fluffy towels and chair covers. Just a bit south of the craziness that is Lummus Park, at the corner of Ocean Drive and 4th, sits the serene Sense Beach House. Our blue and white cinder-block room was nothing special. It actually felt like a college dorm, but it was clean and the bathroom with overhead shower was spacious (beware: we were offered a free "upgrade" to a room with an […] ocean view and balcony, but what we weren't told, until we asked, was that it meant giving up our king size bed and settling for a double...so we declined). No, the charm of this hotel is in the design, decor, and atmosphere. It's peaceful and chic. The beach is just a short walk across the street, and the hotel provides towels and folding chairs. There's plenty of shopping on Collins Ave (just a block away). Valet parking was $29, but they get your car to you as often as needed in 10-15 minutes. The rooftop pool is only three feet deep but it's a nice place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. We weren't thrilled with the young ladies who "manned" the front desk (too often, there seemed to be no one on duty), but when our ironing board fell apart, they were quick to deliver a replacement. If you don't want to pay the high prices at the luxury hotels with their private beaches, but don't want to put up with the loud music and crowded sidewalks north of 5th, then Sense Beach House offers a comfortable alternative. Very nice modern hotel. Very hard to find since there was no big sign in front. The girl at the desk was not very knowledgeable and didn't even tell us our room number. It is NOT a place for families.

Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend. Service was fine, but nothing exceptional. If anything the staff was very nice, just not super quick or sharp. Room was large, really cool laid back vibe. Restaurant is casual, relatively cheap, and good. Rooftop pool is a hidden gem. Beach is across the street, and the hotel gives you a little beach bag with […] towels and chairs--helpful! I was very satisfied with the Sense Beach House. As soon as you walk through the door you get an amazing whiff of just a calming smell. Newly renovated 'beach house' theme feels nice. Kids loved the pingpong and foosball tables in lobby. Most of the staff were great. Would gladly stay again. A high point were the very comfortable beds made of some kind of memory foam. lap pool on the roof is small but the roof is a nice place to lie and get some quiet sun. The hotel is small but newly updated and modern. The room was very nice, especially for the price. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The new restaurant had good food and the staff was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. The room was gorgeous ( I loved the overhead showerhead ) and the staff was very accommodating. They even printed out our boarding passes for our flight along with the weather forecast for NY. I will definitely be back!

We came down to South Beach for a day in the sun and an evening out and Sense was the perfect place to stay. It's quiet, yet a block from the beach and two blocks from the Ocean Drive madness. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.

This is a smaller boutique hotel located in SOBE. The building appears to have been fully renovated within the past few years. Since it is a smaller hotel, you don't have the typical services and amenities of a much larger hotel. However, the price is very reasonably considering it is located one block from the beach and close proximity to the restaurants […] and shops. It is is a very good choice if you do not plan to spend all of your time at the hotel. We would recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again next time we come to Miami. Les mer

I found The Sense Hotel while doing my research online. My friends and I really did enjoy our stay there. We were aware that this was a fairly new hotel but we decided to see what it had to offer. During our stay we did notice a few things that will need to be added over time but we did take in consideration that everything is a growing process and […] I do see a lot of potential at this resort. Being that we were a room full of females of course we would suggest more mirrors outside the bathroom, a few more trash cans, hiring more room service staff, adding some color to the room (art work, paintings, etc), and a storage for toiletries. Overall the resort is in an excellent location, directly on the strip near plenty of restaurants, shopping stores, and activities. The room and bathroom were clean and the bedding was extremely comfortable. In addition, the staff was extremely courteous, pleasant and helpful so as long as their team continues to work together I'm sure this resort will be a five star hotel in no time. Sense has the potential for being a great little hotel. Currently under construction, the hotel has a way to go. The room was clean, but the pipes rattled all night, the door dead bolt didn't work, the TV is at best confusing and some of the amenities in room were missing. The lobby is gettting a little restaurant soon. The Wi-Fi worked great. The biggest […] problem were the drunks in the hotel. If you like to party and want to come home at 1AM and be loud, go for it., otherwise spend a little more money and eliminate the trash. Les mer
