Veldig stilig hotell, tøff arkitektonisk og pene rom. Små minus på rommet er en dusj som lekker slik at man må tørke en vannpytt etterpå, samt en lite kald minibar. Altså bare bagateller. Bra rengjøring. Grei service på hotellet, men intet mer enn hva vi ba om. Noen ganger er jo det helt ålreit. Frokosten er dyr og asketisk. Varmretter må man betale tillegg for. Men den er likevel å foretrekke fremfor de elendige restaurantene og frokostmenyene på la rambla (hold dere unna all mat på la rambla). Beliggenheten er upåklagelig. Kort oppsummert et hotell som absolutt er fire stjerner verdig. Stilige rom. Anbefales.

Jeg og min mann overnattet på Alexandra hotell i forbindelse med 4 dagers miniferie til Barcelona. Hotellet hadde ypperlig plassering i forhold til både serverdigheter, shopping og restauranter. Kan anbefale restaurant Cervecería Catalana som ligger 1 minutt fra hotellet (Mallorca 236), her har de nydelig tapas! Ellers var personalet strålende, både i resepsjonen og i baren. De kan mye om byen og snakker godt engelsk. Rommet er moderne inredet og vi fikk en liten balkong der vi kunne nyte morgen solen. Dusjen er herlig, med stor "overhead" dusjhode. Eneste minus må være at sengen var litt hard. Barcelona er en fantastisk by og et opphold på Hotel Alexandra kan absolutt anbefales som et godt utgangspunkt.

Kjempefin tur med 3 venninner. Sightseeingbuss, shopping, fortauskafeer, gode måltider og avslapning på hotellets tak og basseng. Fortauskafeene utenfor hotellet er også veldig ok med hyggelig betjening.

Gamlebyen i Barcelona, Ciutat Vella, omfatter både Barri Gòtic og den verdensberømte promenadegaten Las Ramblas. Førstnevnte er byens middelalderkjerne, en labyrint av stemningsfulle smågater som smyger seg rundt den imponerende gotiske katedralen. Hotellet var meget sentralt og rent og ryddig. Stille og rolig område. Lett ankomst til aktuelle steder i sentrum. Rene og ryddige rom. Kan absolutt anbefales.

"Hotell Hesperia Ramblas"
Et stilrent hotell med høy standard. Ligger nær La Ramblas og gamlebyen med dens severdigheter. Hyggelig personale som yter god service. Rene hyggelige rom og selv om det ligger nær La Ramblas med mye støy var det helt stille på rommene. Den gode frokosten gir en hyggelig og god start på dagen. Hotellet kan anbefales på det sterkeste.
"Moderne hotel"
Hotellet gir inntrykk av å være nytt. Kun noen få meter fra hovedgaten (las ramblas....), og fra marked. Stille, rent, hyggelig betjening, ordentlig frokost. Vi anbefaler gjerne hotellet.

Really close to metro, La Rambla and the rest of city centre. 30 minutes walk to beach and Barceloneta. Very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast buffet. Second time here and I will come again. I miss though the opportunity to make coffee or tea in the room (for free). And don't forget to maintain the standard so it won't get worn out (eg cracks in […] the wall in the breakfast area). Centrally located and within easy walking distance of most of the major sights, this boutique style hotel is extremely convenient when on a short city break to Barcelona and when ‘time’ is important. Just 1 minute from the metro station, other areas of the city (and beyond) are within easy reach. The room and bathroom were modern, comfortable and clean; […] free wi fi was a bonus. The air conditioning did not work; the reason given was partly the time of the year (end of April) and also that some liked it cooler whilst others preferred it warmer (presumably depending upon the country of origin of the guest!) – I thought that was the idea of the air conditioning units with the facility to warm or cool the air! An excellent buffet breakfast is available in the brightly lit and cheerful basement with a good choice of healthy and not so healthy options. The front desk was very helpful in ‘phoning and dealing with a problem with the local hotel/airport transfer company. We arrived early (around 10.15 hrs) but were given a room immediately so we could get out and about without a delay. Les mer

The hotel was reasonably priced, very very well located in this City meant to walk. The Metro was across the street and very easy to navigate for a non Spanish speaking person.The staff was extra helpful.The hotel itself is a 3 star hotel, but the location and staff make up for that.

In a great location steps away from La Rambla and steps away from the mercado "La Boqueria". Room is very small but it is comfortable enough for 1-2 people. Staff is friendly and will help with dinner reservations, directions etc. Only negative comment is the WI-FI.....terrible connection but that goes for many hotels in the area.

From start to finish this hotel was superb. Had an early check in and it was hasslefree. Room spotless and came equiped with toothbrushes for us ejits that forget to pack ours! Room was sooooooooo quiet at night and for such a central location you would expect differently. Location of the hotel was brilliant. "Fantastic Hotel"
What a find!! Everything was perfect about this hotel. Superb location, friendly staff, so quiet at night, comfy bed, clean room and bathroom with toiletries provided, early checkin, modern and chic! Need I say anymore. I would recommend this hotel 100% to anyone travelling to Barcelona.

Very clean, and the staff was excellent. Great cafe, and everyone speaks English, so if your Spanish is so-so you'll have no worries. Very modern. Rooms are very small, but comfortable. "One of the best hotels for the price"
My husband and I booked this hotel for 1 night while we were in Barcelona last week. I'd read the reviews on Trip Advisor and they aren't wrong. This hotels is located in a great spot, only a minutes walk from La Rambla. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided maps, printed our boarding passes. The rooms are small, but more than a decent size […] if you're just needing accommodation and will be out sightseeing most of the day. The room also had a desk where we could use our laptop. I would definitely stay here again if in Barcelona. It's also located just around the corner from a big market when you can grab a cheap breakfast. Les mer

The location was great, close to La Ramblas, the Port and Metro stations. Downside, the area was pretty noisy, the hotel only had 2 English speaking stations included in the cable TV network and the free Wi-Fi rarely worked. However, for the price I would stay there again.

My wife and I spent 2 nights in Barcelona, Spain and wanted to stay in a place close to Las Ramblas. We found Hesperia Ramblas at a relatively low cost (compared to other hotels) in a great location. The hotel is a small hotel (4 or 5 floors) situated about 1block away from Ramblas. It took us less than a few minutes to reach Las Ramblas and maybe […] at most 10 minutes to reach Cataluna Square. The area contains many many places to eat and about a block away you can find a convenience store. The location is far enough away to not hear noise from Ramblas and close enough to really enjoy the area without hailing a taxi. Hotel staff spoke fluent english and were very helpful in recommending areas of attraction, etc. Overall, the experience was great. We will definitely look to stay in the same hotel if in the area. Just steps from the "centre of it all", the most popular part of Barcelona, you can't ask for a better location, as long as you can tolerate a little noise at night. Location is amazing. Up to 20 min walk from practically anywhere interesting in the city. Service was very pleasant and kind. They even booked our concert tickets. Breakfast was disappointing! If you arrive after 9:30 (should go till 10:30...) you might find that there is no coffee or eggs left. Overall, we were VERY satisfied.

Very modern, clean and quiet hotel. Location is absolutely fantastic and is in the very center, literally 1 minute walk from La Rambla. Breakfast is very nice and fresh, totally worth the value. "Hisperia Ramblas--you pay for location"
The location is close to everything, but off the main road enough so it is quiet. We got in about 4 hours before check-in time, but the staff worked hard to get us in as quickly as possible. The double (or king) bed is two twins pushed together, which worked out just fine; however, they are very, very firm. There is nothing soft in this hotel room..expect […] the pillows which were wonderful! There were 2 english channels on the TV and one (the Disney channel) that was in english part of the time. The bathroom was a bit moldy, and the shower part sprayed erratically. You had to hold it in your hand the entire time to avoid spraying the ceiling. The staff speaks english and is very helpful. McDonalds and KFC are a short walk away (go to Las Ramblas and take a right...about two blocks down) which really made my husband happy! But nothing opens until 11 o'clock. We only stayed there one night before our cruise and we stayed at another hotel one night after our cruise. In comparison, Hisperia Ramblas seems to be your typical hotel in Barcelona...watch what you pay, because the price we paid did not match the quality of the hotel. As for taxis, expect to pay 30 euro from the airport, and 30 euro to the cruise port from Hisperia Ramblas. If you want to see Gaudi park or la Sagrada familia, get to know the public transport system because they are about 20-25 euro away. Food, tourist shopping, and the market (with AWESOME fresh juice) are all within a 5-10 minute easy walk from the hotel. But remember where the hotel is because there are no big signs pointing you in the direction and it kind of blends in to the surroundings. Also, always turn left out of the hotel...don't turn right...especially at night. Les mer

"Hesperia Ramblas - Basic but very good"
Location is perfect, 100 meters from the Ramblas and 50 meters from the Boqueria Market. Good bed, very silent room, good air-conditioner, breakfast, tv and bathroom. Don't wait for anyone to carry your luggage or other services offered in four or five star hotels. I don't know how many stars it's got. I only know the hotel was almost perfect for me […] and my wife. The only thing i think they should improve is the lack of a wardrobe. Highly recommended for this category. Les mer
"Can't go wrong"
This place rocks. Do yourself a favor and make your trip to Barcelona simple by booking a room here and including their tasty, healthy and relatively cheap buffet breakfast. My only complaint was the lack of personality of one of the front desk staff. Besides that I would go back to Rambla Hesperia in a wink - if they have rooms available that is!!

This no frills hotel was great , clean and with great access to La ramblas and other areas to discover. The staff could be friendlier but it was an oveall good experience and would recommmend it!

"Excellent Locatation, Great for the Value"
Great location excellent air conditioning, and staff was very helpfull. Yes it does not have a view but the noise level off sets that, as it is very quiet and so worth the value. I almost always have to have a view but La Ramblas never sleeps. Would Stay again!

Very nice hotel, worth its price, really close to the rambla but very silent in the rooms. Nice breakfast, the big market around the corner and a bakery next door so you could make your own breakfast if you want to... Very hard beds, i really hate hard madrasses :( Really nice 3 star hotel with a great location, close to everything.

The hotel is really nice and modern in its design. The rooms are small but well equipped. The A/C worked fine and the safe and fridge in the closet were in good condition. Its location is ideal, just off La Rambla, a 5 minute walk up to Palca Catalunya and 10 minutes down to the port. We were able to walk a lot and saved a lot of taxi expenses. The […] only downside was the service. The room was organized daily, but the floor wasn't cleaned properly. Also, we almost had to beg to get extra toiletries (soap and dental kit). Continental breakfast was worth the extra money compared to what is available in the surrounding area. Hotel staff was very helpful. Be careful in Barcelona in general for theft. Safety inside the hotel was not a concern. There are not many amenities (no pool, etc.) and no view but the location is excellent, walking distance to all las ramblas attractions. Great location!! Close to Las Ramblas. It was on a shady looking alley but we didn't have a problem. The view out of our room was horrible so we just left the shade closed.
