Well worth the money. Having a washer/dryer and full kitchen allowed us to pack light and save money on eating out. Right across the street from the ocean! Kamaole Beach II is a very nice beach with bathrooms, lifeguards and pretty good snorkeling around the rocks at the south end of the beach We cooked some meals on the gas grills in the pool area. […] There is a shaded area with tables and a refrigerator to keep food /drink in while using the pool. The only negative was that to get Internet in our room would cost $10.00 per day. Are you kidding me? Free wifi was available only around the pool area. Not very convenient. very comfortable, laundry in room great. Pools and BBQ's were great. It would have been helpful to know that prior to going to condo office that we had to check in at another location first which was about another 10min down the road.

Would not recommend booking Kihei Akahi through CRH as the agency required us to move to another unit with only one night remaining in our six night stay. CRH ordered us to leave our unit at 11 am and wait until after 3 pm to move into another unit because they had booked our unit to another customer. On arrival we had to wait until 3 pm at a distant […] checkin location to receive our unit key. They handed us a sealed envelope at check in and said it had grocery cards. We had shopped while waiting so did not open it then. They said nothing about a move when we checked in. There were elevator repairmen talking outside the open window by our bedroom unit for the time there and one elevator out of service. When we opened the envelop we saw the grocery cards that said they were compensation for maintenance issues and for a possible move the next to last day. We never heard more. We wanted to go to the marine reserve that day so checked with the desk. They knew nothing and said no maintenance was scheduled for our unit. They called CRH and after being passed around, they insisted we move, but did not have a unit for us to move into to. We called CRH back and asked about our bag storage and refrigerated food. CRH finally gave us a temporary code to move into another unit. When we moved our stuff and used the code, the unit was occupied. So by then we had lost 3 hours of the morning and the chance to find parking or snorkel at the marine preserve. When the lady left her unit, we moved our stuff into the refrigerator and left our bags there. We went out and waited until after 3 pm to occupy the "new" unit. This caused a loss of our whole morning on the last day we could snorkel on Maui. The grocery cards hardly compensated for the noise outside our first unit from elevator repairs. CRH had no reason to require us to move on our last night other than it fit their booking arrangements. We were not given the option to decline this move. This was our second visit to this condo. Everything was as we expected it--clean condo, close to beach and snorkeling. We spent a lot more time in the condo this time becaause we both had colds. The remodeling noise going on around us was a nuisance, but bearable. Until the last day, when it sounded like a jack hammer being used in the next room, It […] was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk and so intrusive that cups even walked across the counter! It went on from 8ish in the am until 3 or 4 pm. We called the manager; he could do nothing since the contracting for the remodeling didn't go through him, It went through a main office in Kihei. It was Saturday and they were closed. We'd probably stay here again, but we'd be careful to ask for a condo away from any building noises. Les mer

Condo was fine, but there was no maid service. Condo next door was undergoing renovations, so that was a bit noisy in the mornings. Office for our particular condo was 4 mi, away. Rather inconvenient. I would recommend Kihei Akahi to my friends and I would stay there again.

We had a such a great time. We would stay there again. Condo had everything what we were looking for. The only thing that bother us a little were people staying next to us that were smoking.

This is a one room studio condo with twin beds, everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a washer and dryer. What gave it the "wow" factor was the ocean view and the 2 minute walk to that beach. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset was heavenly.

What a great condo! The unit was fully stocked from pots, pans, microwave, washer, dryer, DVD player, HI DEF TV. It even had the small things like beach mats, snorkel gear, big beach towels to the extras you dont think about like laundry detergent, dish soap, spices, paper towels. I would highly recommend the Kihei Akahi and hope we can visit again […] and again. It is right across from the beach, within walking distance to restaraunts, shops, bars. The room was not clean, the floors were very dirty and the linen was not clean.

My husband and I choose this condo to stay at for our honeymoon in Maui. Overall we were satisfied. The best thing about the condo was how well equiped it was. The condo itself looked recently renovated. It had a fully equiped kitchen, a washer and dryer, beach towels plus everything else a normal hotel would have. It had the comforts of home while […] not being at home. The great thing about the kitchen was that we didn't have to eat out for every meal. We could spend some of the money we saved on tours instead. The second best thing was how close it was to the beach, Kamaole 2. It seemed like the nicest beach of the three to me: it is long sandy stretch without too many rocks in the swimming area. The neighbourhood was great. We were able to go without renting a car because the condo was on a bus route. The nearest grocery store (foodland) was a half hour walk away so we mostly went to ABC and the whalers general store for food. We went to Cafe o'lei twice (so good!) and Freds once (ok). Our least favorite thing about this condo was the fact that the office to get the code/key was really far away from it. (20min drive or 2 hr walk). so be prepared to go to the check in office first. Also the code we got didn't work so we had to get a new one. But this was a minor setback. My husband and I will definitely be back on our next trip to maui! Les mer

We had a studio apartment and could see the ocean as well as 'a garden view'. Hint: ask for upper floors, they have elevators in the tallest building. We had laundry facilities right in our apartment. It was a perfect size for two. And the price was right. Yes, it was across the road from the beach, but aloha rules in Hawaii and cars stop for you as […] soon as you set foot on the crosswalk. We went for 10 days of snorkeling and only discovered on the last day that there was good snorkeling by the rocks to the left of our own beach! We had a great vacation and would definitely stay at the Kihei Akahi again. Les mer

It has some bad smell from rotten wood. Later on, I figured it was from the cabinet.Very cheap cabinet! The towels from the cabinet had the rotten smael as well. Also, the bedroom window is not that tightly closed and all of the noise/sound can come in. No shampoo is provided and only 3 small pieces soap are available.

We had sunshine every day,even though it was raining a lot on the east side.Our condo #C501 had a good view of the ocean,was clean and adequate for us. The price was great and we would stay there again

The only, and I mean only, thing we noticed was a smell that seemed to come from the furniture in the bedroom. It smelled like varnish or some other kind of coating that came from the wood on the headboard, dresser, and nightstands.

This condo rental was great for families that need two rooms and want to save a bit of money by cooking in some days. It was fully stocked (minus food), had towels, cooking items, and even beach toys for use! Mattresses could do with a bit of an update, carpets could be cleaned better, and we did find two little cockroaches, but other then that, the […] stay was very pleasant. Check in does not happen at the hotel, but at their corporate office. You still check in at the hotel site to obtain a parking permit. Despite this inconvenience, Kihei Akahi is an excellent place to stay. Our suite was not only had a full kitchen, but condiments, dish soap, sponge and towels as well. There were also plenty of beach toys (boogie board, […] beach chairs, beach towels, etc.) in the closet along with the room safe. Les mer

Good price when booked on a discount travel website but you get what you pay for. Room D416 was original, everything from the 70's and very old. However for the price you got a full kitchen which is awesome and you don't get in most hotel rooms.

This is a condo, not a hotel (meaning, it's basically an apt). So it didn't have your traditional room service, mini-bar, housekeeping, etc. I still enjoyed my stay overall, but I just was expecting a hotel, not a condo. First, you have to pick up your key off the condo premises. However, the pick-up place closes at 5pm -- so if you get there after […] that, then they will leave the key in a lockbox back at the condo premises. The apt was well kept and had a full kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, cable, no internet (but you can pay extra to get it), a terrace. The apt is right on the Kihei beach, which is beautiful. There are some restaurants within walking distance. The condo office has info on other things to do on the island, including local activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, etc. Overall, the area is nice and in terms of price, it's obviously much lower than the 5 star hotels that are nearby. This condo was clean, directly across from the beach, central location on the island. There is 2 pools and the deck offers a great view of ocean. The air conditioner (box unit) worked fine but only cooled the front part of condo well. We chose to sleep in living room on sleeper sofa for this reason, but were comfortable doing so. This is a very nice place we had the studio, it has nice kitchen also. Much nicer than being cramped in a hotel room. The price we got was 2 dollars cheaper than a hotel room. Aloha

家族５人で　快適に過ごしました。　お部屋も広く　べﾗﾝﾀﾞから　海　山がみえ　ゆっくりと　滞在できました　が　チェックインが　別場所にある事務所でして　車で５，６分　現地にくわしく　英語も堪能でないと　きびしいと思われました。私達は　キヘイに　住む　姉に　案内してもらったので　何とかなりましたが　かなり　面倒でした。　その辺りが　大丈夫なら　すばらしい　マウイが　堪能できると思います。備品は　愛情ある　品揃えで　すばらしかったです。

今回、このホテルにして、本当に良かったです。 チェックインの場所が別で、面倒かとも思いましたが、すぐにチェックイン出来ましたし、そこで鍵もいただいて、1人暮らしのようでした！！ また、部屋には食器や洗濯機、フライパンもなんでもそろっており、すごくいい環境でした。 ビーチが目の前ですし、近くにスーパーもあり、便利でした。 長期滞在や、ゆっくりしたい方にはおすすめのホテルです。

Monolocale ben posizionato (se siete fortunati anche con vista sull'oceano) fornito di tutti i comfort (forno a micronde, frullatore, tostapane, macchina caffè, lavatrice ed asciugatrice...). Non è previsto il riordino e la pulizia della stanza.

チェックインはキヘイゲートプラザというかなり離れたたてものの事務所でします。ここで部屋の暗証番号とプールのカギを受け取り、いよいよコンドへ移動します。オフィスで部屋の場所と駐車場をきいて、部屋に入ります。ホテルではなく、コンドに泊まるのは初めてでしたが、こんなに快適だとは思いませんでした。ここは部屋ごとにオーナーさんが違うようで、部屋の内装なども違うようです。まったく個人の部屋を貸している感覚で、部屋においてあるゲストブックにはオーナーさんにあてて、こんなにすてきな部屋を使わせてくれて有難うというメッセージが沢山残されています。英語が話せないと泊まる気になれんとカアナパリに泊まった友達が遊びに来て言ってましたが、日本人はさすがに他には見かけませんでした。 建物は新しいとは言えず、トカゲもたく […] さんいました。でも快適に過ごす事ができました。 すぐ目の前にビーチパークがあり、部屋においてあるビーチチェア、パラソル、ボードなどを持っていって遊びました。ビーチタオルもオーナーさんが用意してくれています。 設備も「住む」という事を考えて作られているので、なんでも揃っていて、感激でした。 エアコンはついていましたが、８月にもかかわらずキヘイは涼しいので日中あまりつかわないですみました。でも夜は窓は閉めるように書かれているので、夜になると少しだけつけました。また、エアコンはリビングにしかないので、ベッドルームにはありません。少し蒸し暑いと感じるときもありましたが、明け方になると涼しかったです。 Les mer

Bezpośrednio pod balkonem przydzielonego studia (parter) robotnicy kładli asfalt. Hałas i smród nie do opisania. Niestety nie można było zamienić mieszkania. Dopiero po długich negocjacjach i kilku-dziesięciodolarowej dopłacie zaproponowano pokój w innym resorcie. Gdyby nie to, pobyt byłby zupełną porażką.
