4 of us stayed here at a 2 bedroom condo. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the condo. Beds were comfortable and furniture were all updates. Bathrooms were clean, kitchen was nicely equipped and modern. It was overall a good experience. Will stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Very close to airport and freeway. Easy access to downtown and to Lackland AFB. Lackland is about 20 minutes away. Good sized, comfortable rooms. Well equipped. Breakfast could have been a little better.

We loved our condo. It was big clean and had a great park. My kids loved it. I loved the jetted tub. My only problem was one of the toilets clogged but other than than its wonderful.

I was very disappointed with their cleaning service. The floors were horribly dirty, beautiful wood floors but extremely dirty. We could not go barefoot because our feet would be black with filth(from when we first walked in). We wore socks and waited for the cleaning people to show up to clean the floors. They would come and clear trash, dirty towels […] and replenish towels, soaps and so on but no sweeping or cleaning of floors. Continental breakfast area was disappointing also, too crowded and not much of a choice. The last straw was the day before we left, we got to the apartment from being out on the town and my phone charger had been switched. The cord had been meticulously wrapped around the handle of the buffet table(just as I had left my charger cord). When I went to charge my phone, it would not charge and that's when I noticed it was not my charger(even different model). I reported to front desk, which they were kind enough to get me a loaner so that I could charge my phone. I reported my concerns on how the person had gone to great extreme to be deceitful. Next morning I received a call from front desk that they had located my charger, that it had been taken by mistake while the staff charged their own phone. I disagreed with them on "the mistake" notion. No one mistakenly wraps a charger cord around a handle twice, and makes sure its left "exactly" the way the one that was taken was found in the first place. That was no mistake, it was intent! Everything inside was lovely, service couldn't have been better. I didn't cook but the kitchen appeared to be very well supplied with everything needed. And for being right on the freeway it was extremely quiet and peaceful. I would stay there again and would recommend to others.

This was the most comfortable, perfect location for a week-long work trip. The porches were fabulous, and the kitchen was perfect. Will definitely be staying here each time I come to San Antonio!

This place was very comfortable and clean. Very spacious and open and very nicely decorated.... Beds were extremely comfortable and the jetted tubs were so relaxing... We were all extremely satisfied with our stay and will definately return...

Our first impression was from Candace whose customer service was top notch. She made sure we had everything we needed and even called to check on us. The room was beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and rocking chairs on the front porch. We would definitely stay there again.

The accommodation were excellent and comfortable for our party of six. (2 adults and four kids). After a long day at Sea World, the baths and beds were welcoming!

Great for families. The two bedroom condo provided space for the kiddos and privacy for the parents. Equipped with full kitchens, no need to spend additional money eating out. Great sand filled playground, pool and cabana also provided an enjoyable experience.

This was the first time staying here. I was very impressed with the size of the condo. Lots of room for the whole family. It was a long drive to Sea World but I can say we will stay again. My family and I were very impressed.

We stay here each time we visit San Antonio. The pool is a great size and having seperate rooms to sleep in is so much better than your average hotel.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo which could easily sleeps 6. IT was well apportioned and close to major sites like Sea World and the Riverwalk. The staff was very friendly, and quick to offer assistance. The value was excellent with a basic breakfast served each morning (we used this to supplement in room cooking); and a beer & wine social each afternoon […] around the pool. If you are travelling with children you will appreciate the seperate and large master suite. As a bit of advice if you are not a nite owl make sure not to get a room right around the pool as it is a virtual party late into the evening. However we were not in the immediate area and had no noise issues at all. Everyone we met who was staying in the immediate pool area liked the environment and wanted that experience. The hot tub is also nicely secluded from the main pool for a more relaxing experience. I fully intend to stay there on future trips to the city. Sea World : 15-20 min drive Riverwalk : 10-15 min drive. Les mer

The condo had 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. The pool was heated, swimming in March was enjoyable. The free Happy hour on Tuesdays through Thursdays was also a great perk. It's right off I-410 but we didn't hear the road noise from the room. It is kind of close to the airport and we did hear the planes at 8 AM but didn't notice them before that. The […] beds were comfortable. You got to park right outside your unit which made bringing in groceries convenient. The kids enjoyed it and so did we. It was a very nice experience. Perfect for two couples with small babies. The only thing was that the guest room was with twin beds rather than queen size bed or king size and it was kind of not very comfortable for the other family who went with us since their baby sleeps with them in the same bed.

All of the units are small condos (some are time-shares). They are very well-kept and clean. The management and staff are very cordial and efficient. I don't know if all the units are alike. Ours had a decent size bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a well-designed dresser, and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen had a cook-top, refrigerator, microwave, […] toaster, coffee pot, sink, as well as dishes, cutlery, and cook pans. The living room included another flat screen TV, a comfortable sleeper sofa, a comfortable chair, a large ottoman, and a desk and chair. My favorite place was the small front porch where I could sit on the rocker and read a book while the squirrels ran up and down the tree in the front yard. I'm conflicted - I want to give the highest rating because they deserve it but I also don't want it to get so popular that there is no unit available for my next visit. Les mer

The condo we got was so beautiful. I felt like I was at home. The kitchen was supplied with everything we might need, dishes, pans, silverware, you name it. Full size fridge and stove, even a dishwasher. The rooms were very roomy and the beds were so comfortable. It didn't even feel like a hotel. The hotel itself isn't that bad, the staff were friendly enough and I liked that the rooms were more like bungalos, all ground level. However the floors in our suite were very dirty. when we first arrived we didn't notice because the floors are dark wood but after my family and I walked around a bit our feet were black our socks if we were wearing them […] were black. Anyway, I did mention it too the front desk and they were appologetic but once your in the room unless it's unbearable no one ones a cleaning crew to come through right! The sinks in both the bathrooms were sluggish. Over all not a bad place just a little expensive for some of the inconviences. Very family oriented place though, overall not bad. We choose this Villa because it was condo style with 2 bedrooms. Our daughter loved having her our room and we loved that we didn't all have to go to bed at 8 so she could sleep. The decor was great and the beds comfy. Housekeeping was accommodating to our schedule. We asked them to come after nap-time and they adjusted their schedule for us. The […] pool was fine, but the bottom could use some re-surfacing. Our garmin did not get the address correct. I suggest you call the hotel and ask for the name of the park or school nearby. Breakfast was fine, but a bit disappointing. A waffle iron would make a world of difference. Having a condo with full kitchen made the walk for cold cereal and coffee not worth it for me. I found this place on Expedia.com while planning a "stay-cation" that was packed with family fun but still budget friendly. I was a bit skeptic since it was the first time I used Expedia to book a hotel. Lets just say I was more than happy with this place the pictures on the website are spot on and in no way misleading. The rate I got at the time was […] easy on my pockets and the Deluxe Condo was the perfect size for my family of 5. It was in prime location to all the fun attractions in San Antonio. The kitchenette was the perfect size and even helped out with cost because we didn't have to go eat out so often during our week long stay. I am so glad we went here and so pleased I can not stop gushing to family and friends about this place and the great rate I got by using Expedia. We are planning on going again next summer and staying longer with family and friends in tow to book additional rooms as well. My husband and I were in San Antonio for a week in early June. We have a special needs son and our 2 bedroom condo was excellent! The staff was very accomodating to us. The pool area was great, as was the play ground area for the kids. The condo was very clean and was exactly what the pictures looked like so we were not surprised at all. This hotel is just perfect for big families with kids. We stayed for a week in a two bedroom condo that has a living room, a kitchen and two bedrooms (one king size bed and two twin beds). The accommodations were excellent. Loved the jacuzzi bathtub in the master bedroom. The only problem was that the coffee pot was a Mr. Coffee and that was not the brand of the coffee maker. However, a 4 am call to the front desk and somebody was there in less than 10 minutes with a new coffee maker. Great service. Very clean and quiet. Loved the rockers […] on the front porch. The staff at this hotel is very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were very well remodeled and clean. Only complaint is they are very small. Hotel is located just off highway so it was convenient to get anywhere we needed to go. It was not on our GPS so we had problems finding it at first.

We were very pleased with the Hotel. The only thing we had problems with was the ants that appeared inside of our cars. Every morning we had to fight to get them out of the cars. Also, the kids did not get to go swimming because the pool was out on maintenance repair. Over all it was really nice and clean.

My family was pleasantly surprised with Salado Creek Villas. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with a living/kitchen/dining area. It was a very comfortable fit for our family of 5 (one child slept on the very comfy sofa). The interior of the room didn't look like a hotel room at all; it looked like a home. We were much more comfortable than we have […] been in many of the hotels in the River Walk area. We definitely got a lot more value for our money at Salado Creek. The swimming pool has a large section that is only one foot deep for small children, a large section for older kids and adults, and a large hot tub. There is a nice cabana area with a huge grill next to the pool. The playground is awesome too. We didn't use it, but we also saw a hot tub in a secluded garden area which looked like a pleasant place to relax after a long day of site seeing. We would have loved to have stayed another night. We are already planning our next trip to San Antonio, and Salado Creek Villas will be the first place we look for a room. The staff was great too! We rented a 1 bedroom suite which was potrayed as housekeeping capable but was very short on utensils and no table or chairs to sit at. The 2 bedroom suites are much roomier with a real table. It WAS clean and the staff were very attentive to our few concerns and took care of them right away. Happily, we didn't bring any unwanted bugs home either. You […] might want to bring your own pillow....one is too flat and 2 are too thick..;) Our unit was at the very end of a long row and at first I was grateful for not being near the highway or pool noise but there were 2 apartment complexes right behind us that were rather noisy in the mornings. We live in an area of quiet, single family homes and weren't used to that noise. If that wouldn't bother you, then the location was nice. It is in a poorer neighborhood and away from all the big attractions, but we never had or saw any problems to be concerned with. Access to a major interstate was right out front and we had no trouble getting were we wanted to go, other than all the switchbacks of San Antonio, but that has nothing to do with the condo... :) We would consider staying here again. I never rate things at the "extremely" end of a scale, so 4's are very good. Les mer
